Ciyi rolled her eyes when she heard Xiao Bai’s response. She said to the stupid weasel, "You are such a scaredy-cat. Is it really that difficult to break through the defences of that man? I don’t think so!" Ciyi was determined to find her way into that man’s home and get her revenge. That man and his thugs made her suffer such a humiliation; how could she not avenge herself? There was no way she was going to let this thing go so easily!

Xiao Bai looked at the mutt, who had gone crazy and simply shook his head. He had no idea what this pup was planning but he wanted nothing to do with her. He turned on his feet and was about to walk out of the warehouse when something or rather someone, caught his tail.

Xiao Bai: ??

Confused out of his mind, he turned his head and looked at the pup who was holding his tail between her teeth. Startled, he pulled his tail out of her mouth and scolded her severely, "You! Just because the master treats you better than me does not mean you can do anything. What is the meaning of this? Why are you pulling my tail like this? Have you lost your mind?"

Xiao Bai was really angry. His tail was his pride. It was longer and much puffier than the rest and yet this mutt was pulling and tugging at his tail. Did she think that he had no temper? Even if this pup was treated like a good little companion by their boss, he would absolutely not allow the mutt to pull his tail off!

Ciyi spat the fur in her mouth and said in a low voice, "I wasn’t trying to pull your tail; it’s your fault that you turned around way too quickly before I could stop you."

"Why would you stop me? I have done what you have asked me to do!" Xiao Bai felt helpless. He might be a sentient being but he wasn’t as smart as Ciyi and sometimes he acted like a child. He felt upset after being stopped.

"No, you haven’t. You didn’t bring me to the house of that man who kidnapped me!" Ciyi exclaimed, feeling like she was talking to an idiot. Clearly, she had asked the weasel to bring her to the man who had caused her such a humiliation, and yet the weasel had not done that yet. So who was at fault here? She was simply asking the weasel to take her along to the manor where the man lived!

Xiao Bai was feeling aggrieved. When he heard Ciyi say that he hadn’t fulfilled his end of the bargain, he rolled his eyes and simply stated, "I have already told you it’s difficult to penetrate the house of that man. So why are you still hung up on it?"

"How will you know until you have tried it?"

"I have tried it and even ended up getting fried. So you better not start with me!"

The two of them glared at one another before Ciyi snorted, "Then I guess I have no choice but to tell Meiyue that you were walking away after abandoning me." 𝗳𝗿𝐞𝕖𝘄𝗲𝕓𝗻𝚘𝚟𝕖𝐥.𝚌𝕠𝕞

"WHAT!?" The weasel yelped out loud as he looked at the pup. He never expected this little thing to be so sly; she was actually saying that he didn’t try to save her? Was she really serious!?

"You...you...when did I not save you? When did it happen? I clearly saved you just now!"

"Only when I threatened you," sneered Ciyi. she was determined to make this weasel bow his head in front of her. How dare he pat his butt and leave? Did he think that he was her master? Only Bai Meiyue had the right to act smug and arrogant in front of her. Other than her, no one else had the right to act like they were better than her. She then commanded in a lofty voice, "Unless you want me to tell Yueyue what you did, you better take me to the mansion where this man lives or else I am going to make sure that we will see this matter till the end!"

Xiao Bai wanted to cry but he had no tears left to cry, in the end, he had no other choice but to take Ciyi to the mansion where Master Su lived. As soon as the two of them arrived, Ciyi saw the tall walls around the mansion and was dumbfounded. She looked at the walls and then turned to look at Xiao Bai, who simply shrugged his shoulders and remarked, "I told you that there is no way to get inside. But you didn’t believe me, now see what is happening? You should have listened to me earlier and saved our time."

Xiao Bai felt annoyed. He wanted to go and lie down to sleep. But this brat actually dragged him to this mansion, which was way further from the warehouse where the two of them were at the moment. If not for this mutt acting all stubborn, then he wouldn’t have come all the way here and would have gone to sleep. The reason he was acting like a ghost in the middle of the night was all due to Ciyi!

"What are you crying for, you dumb idiot?" Ciyi rolled her eyes and said, "If we cannot climb the wall, then we can always dig the soil and then crawl through the tunnel! Now stop crying like a little girl and set off!"

As soon as she finished speaking, Ciyi started to dig the soil. Xiao Bai looked at the little mutt and then turned to look behind. He called his little underlings, and in a few seconds, hundreds of weasels started to dig through the soil and then scrambled inside the safe house.

Poor Master Su had no idea that he had wasted all his money on building the high-rise walls to defend against the thieves. Because the thief he feared was not human to begin with!
