Aromatic Flesh-Chapter 115.2: Demon Sect Leader’s Holy Maiden Concubine (7)
Chapter 115.2: Demon Sect Leader’s Holy Maiden Concubine (7)
“Yes, I came to rescue you, Jie Jie. Look, I have the keys.” Gu MingYue took out the keys from her pocket and waved them, her smile as radiant as blooming spring flowers. She quickly opened the door of the iron bars, before using a smaller key to unlock Gu QingHui’s handcuffs and ankle chains.
Within moments, Gu QingHui was free to move again.
Drawing from her memories of the original story, Gu MingYue approached a well-lit glass lamp on the wall outside the iron bars. She turned the overheated lamp face, producing a faint metallic friction sound.
The bricks on the wall began to shift and fit together, revealing a dark passage in no time.
“Jie Jie, please go now. This is a secret passage that leads to the outside of the island. You can only exit, not enter. Besides the Sect Master, no one else knows about it. If you hurry, you can escape through this passage in less than a day.”
Gu MingYue urged as she pushed Gu Qinghui toward the entrance of the secret tunnel.
“If the monster’s the only one who knows about this, how did you find out? Besides, if you release me, that monster will surely come after you. Come with me, Father will surely be delighted that you are now…” Gu QingHui held Gu MingYue’s hand, urging her to leave together.
“Jie Jie, you’re speaking nonsense. If I disappear, they’ll quickly realize that we’ve escaped. I can only delay the Sect Master by staying here and holding him back from delivering your food on time. Besides, if he notices your escape, he’ll only think that you’re resourceful, if both of us do, neither of us will make it.” Gu MingYue explained calmly.
“No, you must come with me! If you don’t go, then I won’t go!” Gu QingHui held onto Gu MingYue firmly, her determination unwavering.
“Jie Jie, I’m determined not to leave with you. Besides, I’ve already lost my innocence. I cannot face what’s to come if I was to go back. Moreover… Moreover, I have deep feelings for the Sect Master, and I cannot live without him. I will not leave him, please understand.” Gu MingYue pleaded, her cheeks moist with tears.
“Y…You…!” Gu QingHui stared at Gu MingYue with frustration but suppressed the bitterness welling up in her heart. “Fine, if you insist on this, I have no choice. Take care of yourself!” She emphasized the few three words as she released Gu MingYue’s hand, before resolutely disappearing into the dark secret passage.
The stone bricks quickly rearranged themselves, and the lanterns turned back to their original positions, making the dungeon look as it did before.
Within the depths of the LingZhang Palace, where nobody else ventured except the Master, Gu MingYue had the freedom to move around without any obstacles.
In short, it was all thanks to the original story’s setup.
Updated from freewёbnoνel.com.
Jia Ling, who had been rendered unconscious with a precise pressure point technique, was likely still sound asleep on the boat. Gu MingYue landed on the deck without making a sound, resembling Chang’e1 descending gracefully from the moonlight.
As she transitioned from the outer hall to the inner hall, her movements were so light and quiet that there was no hint of sound or even a breath. Her stunning figure stood within the room, yet she seemed as unobtrusive as the stationary furnishings, fully present but completely unnoticed.
In the quiet night, Jia Ling’s slumbering face took on an unexpected touch of gentleness. The man who often appeared devilish during waking hours now seemed strangely innocent and pure, almost comically so.
Gu MingYue, with her eyes like moonlight, carefully returned the key to its place after ensuring there were no signs of her intrusion. She then removed her outer clothing and quietly nestled back into bed. Turning her head, she silently contemplated Jia Ling.
She marvelled at his flawless face, finely chiselled features, and strong, well-proportioned physique. This man had an effortless way of captivating and toying with women, relying on his natural charm.
Whether in the original story or the current situation, these qualities remained unchanged, despite his unexpectedly different personality and the seemingly convoluted storyline from the very beginning.
With her gaze now shifted to the ceiling, Gu MingYue once again recalled the familiar plot by playing it out in her mind.
After being mistaken for Gu QingHui and brought back to TaiSu Island by Jia Ling, Gu LiuGuang’s false identity was quickly uncovered as her behaviour was truly unlike how a distinguished woman would act. However, Jia Ling had only noticed it after a few days of interaction with Gu LiuGuang, in fact, he had initially thought that the woman had gone mad due to recent events.
Faced with a seemingly crazy and foolish woman, even though she was attractive, Jia Ling had no interest in showing sympathy. He usually favoured a wide variety of captivating women and had neither the patience nor the tenderness to spare for Gu QingHui.
While he felt a hint of regret, it was nowhere near the malicious enthusiasm he had. In fact, what Jia Ling eagerly anticipated was the reaction of Gu LiuGuang’s biological father, the leader of the martial arts alliance, upon learning that his daughter had been mistreated and driven to madness.
So, once again, Jia Ling embarked on a nighttime infiltration of the heavily guarded ancient family fortress. By then, Gu ZhenKai had increased security both inside and outside the fortress, but it couldn’t stop the unmatched martial arts skills of the infamous demon sect master.
In the same courtyard, at the same spot, Jia Ling encountered Gu QingHui, who was locked away, tirelessly brainstorming ways to break free in her urgent quest to rescue her little sister.
Thanks to the oblivious people scattered throughout the compound, Jia Ling managed to sneak away with Gu QingHui.
He forcibly administered a Dispersing Energy Powder to Gu QingHui and confined her in the secret underground cells beneath the Palace on the TaiSu Island.
Truly, Jia Ling found it highly amusing, for he had never fathomed the existence of such an exceptionally beautiful woman, and now he was one of the very few privy to this secret.
Whether it was Gu LiuGuang, or Gu QingHui, none of them would escape his palms.
Jia Ling, with the demeanour of toying with a pet, regularly visited Gu QingHui daily in the iron cell to pass the time by provoking her. In fact, this was a newfound form of amusement he discovered, despite her being filled with resentment and reluctance. He approached her with a playful attitude, making it clear that he wouldn’t resort to forcing himself upon her, but he was equally clear that one day, she would willingly submit to him.
With Gu LiuGuang on the outside, who now bore the title of the number one beauty in the martial world, and Gu QingHui, the true owner of the title, secretly imprisoned and treated like a wildcat, this situation provided an intriguing contrast. It was truly delightful for Jia Ling.
The subsequent part of the story follows a clichéd pattern, as Gu QingHui and Jia Ling, despite their initial animosity, gradually develop feelings for each other through their daily confrontations. It was a blend of deadly intent, unwavering strength, novelty, and an undeniable undercurrent of desire that drew them together almost inadvertently.
The absurdity of it all was not lost on Gu MingYue. Whenever she thought about this part of the plot, she couldn’t help but feel a sense of mockery towards Gu QingHui
Maybe it was because she played the role of the female protagonist that her inexplicable and undeniable attraction to the male lead couldn’t be ignored. It could also be that she was drawn to Jia Ling by his appearance, martial skills, and his domineering presence. However, from Gu MingYue’s perspective, regardless of the reasons, Gu QingHui’s reactions and emotions seemed foolish.
Two people with opposing stances falling in love and battling each other might make for an interesting story, but dragging unrelated individuals into their conflict was unnecessary. So, in reality, Gu MingYue was quite content with how this story ended. In comparison to other authors, the writer of this tale appeared to have a bit more common sense.
Despite having a mission to complete, she genuinely wondered if someone like Jia Ling could truly find happiness?
Nevertheless, Gu MingYue understood that her current priority was not to contemplate this issue. She needed to figure out how to gradually regain her intelligence without raising any suspicions. In fact, maintaining this facade of foolishness would hinder her mission.
After careful contemplation, Gu MingYue felt a bit disheartened. It seemed that there was currently no opportunity to recover her intelligence. Additionally, Jia Ling’s behaviour was mysteriously confusing, and she couldn’t anticipate his emotional shifts. Therefore, she had to proceed cautiously, taking one step at a time.
Nonetheless, the storyline was finally progressing. Despite the chaotic sequence of events, it seemed to be striving to align with the original plot, and finally offering some clues to follow.
Now, knowing that Gu QingHui had been set free, and that there was no longer a chance for her to further cultivate any distorted feelings with Jia Ling, she could take a moment to ease her mind.
As Gu MingYue contemplated this, a wave of drowsiness washed over her. Just before falling asleep, she detected a faint, lingering, and delicately sweet fragrance in the air.
The lotus blossoms on the lake surrounding the boat released a refreshing aroma carried by the breeze, dissipating the remaining traces of sweetness within the room.
Enjoy~
