Ascension of the Sylvan Cosmos-Chapter 710. New Sylvan Children.

After Liu Shu’s gathering, another year passed by quite quickly. This time, the remaining merchant fleets behaved perfectly fine. Of course, as there were too many people, some thought too highly of themselves and tried to do things they should not.

Liu Shu, like with almost everyone who broke her bottom line, was ruthless in her judgment. She blatantly exposed their wrongdoings, and then, she publicly condemned them to death.

Her actions, being quite ruthless for most of the otherworlders, caused some outrage. However, Liu Shu sent her ants to beat up and push back on those protesting. Of course, before that, she explained to their groups in person her reasoning.

Sadly, more often than not, people can’t rectify their behavior when their ideals are involved and challenged. Therefore, her many, MANY sisters rectified them for her. Facing the endless sea of ants, they were convinced quite quickly.

There were basically no casualties, only a few who tried to kill ants when fighting back.

These back-and-forths were something Liu Shu was accustomed to, so they caused absolutely no large ripple on the overall structure of her governing system. While she tweaked some laws after the new arrivals’ suggestions, it was nothing more than a few tweaks that tightened the law when dealing with species whose biology was a bit too different.

But that was not the most important part. The most important thing was that Verdantia and the others had gone into labor and given birth to a new wave of Sylvan babies!

The process was slightly better than before, their bodies clearly having adapted slightly after the first birth. Hence, the time they spent in the labor room was reduced to "just" three and a half days, almost four.

During those almost four days, Liu Shu used Solkara as a substitute for Vorathen, using it as a stress ball. The poor planet’s surface was cracked here and there because of Liu Shu’s actions.

After everything finished, Liu Shu heard the simultaneous cries of 6 babies. This made her blink. ’Six?’

Looking at her four lovers, she noticed Harmonixia and Cinderielle holding two babies each. "Oh my! Twins again! My lovers are quite fertile..."

She also couldn’t help but notice something quite peculiar. ’Why do they give birth at the same time? It’s not like the gestation of children is exactly 9 years for each Sylvan. There is a lot of variance...’

Even then, Liu Shu noticed that all of them would end up giving birth more or less at the same time. Only those with twins would take a bit longer. While this confused her slightly, she did not linger much on it.

Instead, she focused on her new batch of Sylvan babies! "UGH! My babies are so pretty! QAQ!"

Her roots gently climbed up, caressing the exhausted mothers and newly born babies. She spoke with them at the same time, lovingly caressing them and deciding on the name with them.

Verdantia nodded with a smile. "I have. This little one will be named Verdelis."

Liu Shu hummed and nodded. "A good name."

Verdantia chuckled a bit helplessly. "After naming almost 200 children, there are not many options left."

"What do you mean? I have thought of thousands of names!"

Verdantia rolled her green eyes gently, looking down at her child. "Quite curious hair... It’s mostly green-colored but with some golden strands here and there. Her eyes... they are the same as Faye’s, a beautiful purple."

Liu Shu smiled happily. "Hehe. My genes won this time~."

Verdantia raised her eyebrow at the tease. "Did they? All three of my babies have green hair, though."

Liu Shu harrumphed. "Can’t you let your wife have a little win?"

Verdantia laughed.

In another room, Tempestria was gently caressing the hungry baby latched onto her chest. "Let’s call you Sylphae. What do you think, love?"

Liu Shu, hearing her words, nodded happily. "Hehe, another good name!"

Looking at the baby, she had the usual multicolored hair strand among the very short patch of jade green hair. Sylphae’s grey eyes were squinted in delight while drinking, looking quite satisfied. "So cute~."

Tempestria agreed. Unlike Arlyn, who looked quite calm even when being born, this little one looked quite sweet.

Meanwhile, in Cinderielle’s room, the woman flopped onto the bed with no strength left. "These two beauties... giving Mommy a hard time, sigh."

Liu Shu laughed. "How are you feeling, love?"

"Exhausted... but happy." Cinderielle glanced down and muttered, curious. "Oh? One female and one like me? Quite sad that one of you couldn’t inherit your mother’s powerful weapon."

Liu Shu almost smacked the woman. "Can you be a bit less like you during this time? It is supposed to be a wholesome moment!"

Cinderielle laughed tiredly, leaning on the root by her side and kissing it. "Can I name them? I had an inspiration this time around."

"Then... The girl with jade green hair and orange-gold eyes will be Ignira. Meanwhile, the little one with deep ember-red hair and purple eyes will be Cindralis."

Liu Shu was quite satisfied with those names. They were beautiful, and one of them even resembled Cinderielle’s. Of course, it was the girl who inherited Cinder’s hermaphrodite characteristic that received that name.

Simultaneously, Harmonixia and Liu Shu spoke about the last two babies. Liu Shu heard Harmonixia speak with a pleasant hum in her voice. "Let’s go with Lyrielle and Choriel. Lyrielle, a girl with gradient blue-to-purple hair and matching purple eyes with her sister. Choriel has actually inherited my shifting blue and purple hair and also my extra genitalia~."

Among all her children, Choriel was probably the one who inherited everything from her. Only her eyes were a beautiful amethyst like Liu Shu’s.

Liu Shu hummed to herself while soothing her lovers. ’Half-half this time around. Now, in total, we have Faye, Faylin, Ignira, Sylphae, Meldy, and Lyrielle as normal Sylvans. Meanwhile, Verdalis, Pyralis, Cindralis, Alryn, and Choriel have the extra male member.’

Pyralis couldn’t help but look at her big sisters with both love and exasperation. These sisters of hers, being of a taboo species, naturally had quite feisty personalities even after being "tamed" by Cinderielle and Liu Shu’s very effective and practiced education methods.
