Astral Flower-Chapter 656: Epilogue 1 : The Green Planet’s Development
Bang! Bang! Bang!
"General, the enemies have retreated!"
"Good," the general nodded and waved his hand. "There’s no need to chase. Time to go back and give report."
"Yes!"
Many years have passed ever since the battle between the Human Association and the Mega Organization.
For many planets that were so far away and were not affected in the slightest bit, this war had nothing to do with them. Everyone were too busy with their own lives to care about this matter.
But for those who were involved with the Mega Organization, it was undoubtedly the worst.
They were involved.
The remnants from the Mega Organization was being cleaned after the Mega Organization’s destruction.
The Green Planet was one of the few active planets who participated in this mission. Among them, Nan Xian Yu was naturally included.
Di! Di! Di!
Nan Xian Yu had climbed out of his mecha and looked at his light brain. Seeing the message from his father, he simply opened the call to call the other party.
"Father?"
"Good work today," Nan Hai Yan said from the other end of the call. He observed his first son for a moment and then said, "It should be among the last batches of the remnants. You can go back and rest. Your wife is waiting for you."
"Ah..." Nan Xian Yu nodded.
He got married a few years ago and his wife rarely come with him when he was on a long expedition to travel at a distant place. Like this one battle, she chose to stay in Green Planet with his family rather than coming with him.
"If you want to see your sister, you can go to the Virtual World. She spends her time there from time to time," Nan Hai Yan reminded.
After the battle that reveled the Mega Organization’s headquarter, Nan Hua had never returned to the Green Planet ever again. Well, to be exact, it was after she revealed her identity.
Nan Hua traveled with her small group all over various galaxies out there.
It seemed that she was far from them and the only way for them to see her was through the Virtual World. She was still willing to meet them from time to time even if it was rarely.
"I know," Nan Xian Yu replied.
He was the one who noticed Nan Hua’s strangeness, or perhaps, she didn’t even bother to hide it. But he never tried to confront Nan Hua and let this sister of his be.
Now, he was doing well and had his own life.
There was no need for him to worry about his sister all the time either.
"I’m going back."
"Good."
...
Nan Hai Yan cut off the connection and shook his head.
His children were all busy working in various fields and didn’t have much contact with each other. He received news that his first son’s battle was over, so Nan Hai Yan tried to contact his son and asked him to go back.
It wouldn’t do him any good to continue roaming on the battlefield all the time.
He himself was not much better, though.
*cough*
Nan Hai Yan looked at the message from his father and shook his head.
In the past few years, he had been staying on the frontline and fought in various battles that the Human Association arranged. Aside from the needs of the Green Planet, he also helped with the Human Association.
It was not much, but he wanted to have some contribution because he didn’t want to stay quiet at home without much to do.
Through this way, he also rarely came back home.
Seeing his father calling himself, Nan Hai Yan had a bitter smile.
It seemed that his father was also going to reprimand himself like he reprimanded his first son just now.
Oh well...
It seemed that he should go back from time to time too and paid a visit to his father and his second son.
As for Nan Hua...
Nan Hai Yan also couldn’t see Nan Hua.
She was too far away and the Human Association couldn’t really track her down. However, Nan Hua had a territory named Xing Hua in a far away galaxy. They could also go there if they wanted to, but their spaceship had to be upgraded to a certain degree.
That areas were not exactly a peaceful area like their galaxy.
He wanted to go there, but his father didn’t let him for various reasons and Nan Hai Yan obeyed.
It wouldn’t do him any good to go there because it was too far away.
There were many conflicts with other races over there and if they were to go there, they might be involved in the dispute too.
No one wanted it to happen.
...
Old Master Nan made a call to his son for a while and then laid back on his chair. After that war between the Human Association and the Mega Organization, Old Master Nan basically spent his time at his home, resting and doing nothing.
He had no interest to be involved in the politics and military anymore.
There were more than enough medicine and so on that was distributed to him, allowing him to live comfortably even though he was already advanced in age. For Old Master Nan, it was enough.
He was watching his sons and grandchildren as they grew up and pursued their own dream.
It was very good.
Even though Old Master Nan wished he could see Nan Hua more often, he also knew that it was impossible. Nan Hua was busy traveling to faraway galaxy and it would be impossible for him to go there.
So the only way for them to meet was through the Virtual World.
And Old Master Nan could see that Nan Hua was slowly but surely relaxed herself and no longer being so stiff all the time.
It was good.
He wished his granddaughter could be happy all the time.
This was an unrealistic hope, but at least it could serve as a wish.
