Awakening The Only SSS-Rank Class! Now Even Dragons Obey Me-Chapter 657: Dragon Of Origins
"Meeting the dragons?" Daniel murmured to himself after hearing Evangelin’s words. He understood what she meant, and honestly he had already thought about this idea before.
During the battle he had with that demon, his soul took extremely severe damage, so severe that he didn’t think he could heal it on his own.
The only reason his soul managed to survive was because his soul was an Undying Soul Of Dragon.
If he didn’t have such a soul, he would have completely collapsed and died. Even now, his soul was heavily damaged, and the completion percentage had dropped to 11%.
He even tried to increase its completion percentage using his own blood, but it didn’t go above two times that amount. In other words, he needed to find another way.
But no method came to his mind except asking the dragons directly for help. After all, his soul had an unbreakable connection to dragons.
Still, he had many doubts about this idea. His eyes landed on Finn, who was sitting on his shoulder, staring around with curiosity and surprise.
Finn seemed to notice his father looking at him and turned his head to Daniel. In his beautiful eyes, there was innocence, mischief, and playful energy.
In his whole life, Daniel had only seen two dragons.
One was Finn, who couldn’t really be called a true dragon right now, he wasn’t fully grown and was basically still a baby dragon.
And the second was that dragon he saw at the auction, the one who came to take back the dragon egg and killed many of the Heavenly Kings.
He still had no idea why that dragon backed off that day instead of taking Finn. There must have been a reason, and he doubted the dragon was scared of him or something like that.
Whatever the reason was, Daniel wasn’t confident about meeting dragons and felt like it might not be a good idea, even if this woman protected him.
"How did you even get this dragon?" Evangelin’s gaze landed on Finn. In the depth of her cold and indifferent eyes, a hint of surprise appeared for a brief moment.
"Well..." Daniel smiled and explained the auction and a summary of what happened there to her.
During everything Daniel said, Evangelin’s expression did not show any emotional reaction, except when he mentioned the retreat of the dragon that came to take back the egg.
’Is it possible?’ she thought about a reason that could force a dragon to retreat, then refocused on him.
"You’re very lucky. This baby dragon is not a normal dragon."
"Not a normal dragon?" Daniel looked at Finn, who was licking himself.
"If I’m not mistaken, he is a Dragon Of Origin, something that shouldn’t even be possible." Evangelin nodded.
"Dragons Of Origin were the first generation of dragons, the purest creation of the world. They were basically the embodiment of the world’s aspects. But they were all killed tens of thousands of years ago, and none of them should exist now."
Daniel frowned, staring at Finn. He already felt like this baby dragon wasn’t normal, especially because of his explosive growth rate.
Still, the idea of him being a Dragon Of Origin was something he couldn’t even imagine.
"Based on that, shouldn’t they have been the strongest dragons? How did they get killed?" he asked with curiosity.
"They truly were the strongest dragons. All dragons today are their descendants. They were so powerful they could match gods."
"But because they represented aspects of creation, they were attacked by the gods, and a war between both sides happened, a war that ended the entire race of the Dragons Of Origin."
Daniel nodded, understanding. After hearing Evangelin’s explanation, he could already reason out the situation.
Most likely the Dragons Of Origin were attacked by the inner gods, who probably saw them as a threat that needed to be erased.
Considering how inner gods viewed even mortal gods as threats, it wasn’t strange they would do something like that.
"But then how was Finn born? And why did the dragons leave him with me?" Daniel had more questions.
"I don’t know." Unfortunately, Evangelin didn’t have the answers.
"I see... but will the dragons even be willing to help me?" he sighed. He had no choice but to drop the topic for now. The only ones who could answer his earlier questions were probably the dragons themselves.
"I don’t know," Evangelin said again with indifference, making Daniel frown. But she continued a moment later:
"But testing that idea isn’t bad, especially because it’s very clear that they intentionally left the last surviving Dragon Of Origin with you. So there’s a high chance they might be willing to help."
Daniel nodded. That was exactly the same thought he had.
"So when should we go see them?"
"It’s better not to rush. I need to first find out if the entrance to their lands is even open. If it’s closed, we have no choice but to wait."
"I understand. And thank you for your help."
"No need to thank me. It is my duty to serve Eternity." Evangelin said with her usual indifferent face, though there was a hint of hidden happiness in her tone.
"Also... how much do you know about the Fallen One?" Daniel asked with a slightly serious expression. He had a question he wanted to ask the Prophet, but received no answer. Now he hoped the Saintess of Eternity would know.
""Not really. The Fallen One was extremely famous back in the early era when I lived. In fact, he was the most well-known human who ever ascended to godhood."
"And back then, he had a different name. Though I can’t remember what it was or what we used to call him. It’s like my memories about his true name and title have been erased or altered. Many of his achievements and almost everything about him have been wiped from this world, and only a few people even know he existed."
Why?" Evangelin waved her hand and the space around them returned to normal. A moment later they were back in that Celestial palace.
"I wanted to know if you know anything about the fragments of the Fallen’s heart."
