Barbaric Spouse, Descry the Night's Lure-Chapter 183: Scene CLXXXIII
A day of desperate mourning was taken by her soul in the privacy of her bedroom. Where in her solitude, Dina closed herself from the concerns the servants demonstrated, missing the meals and visits of an attentive servant.
The beliefs she feared had ultimately been confirmed by the guard her young heart had taken notice of... Therefore, the sadness could finally find shape and action in the mourning woman.
Hence, rage and weakness invaded her during the time she remained inside the bedroom, thinking of the days that were gone, the days that would come and the uncertain today that had harmed her so greatly.
Tears would not forbid even as dry of them... Yet it was not going to be long before the sound of her door would bring the voice of an unknown slave... and the pain would quickly find the retaliation her loneliness demanded.
An encounter with a hateful princess would happen that dusk. Once the tears had been poured helplessly, leaving solely her weary voice as the medium for her heart’s sorrow to surface.

"Maaaastee~eer~~!!" — The excited child ran to Aslak, who was already conversing with the Sire in charge of his troops.
“Ah... The kid noticed ya quick.” — Amused, Kir sneered at her energetic jumps carrying in her young visage a wide smile, too accustomed to see the displeasure in Aslak’s expression to tell more so as his frown would deepen. — “All she says is master this and that, can’t ya come see her more often?”
“... She’s too loud.”
“Master! Master!! huff huff! Masteeer~, Nu has missed Master!” — Calling him as she arrived and ran around the two tall men, Nu moved her arms with joy, ultimately placing herself before the Archduke and holding onto his leg as if a hug was given. — “Has Master missed Nu? Is Master’s Wife coming??”
“... I’ve told ya not ta cling to my leg.”
“!?!? Master! Nu has missed Master! Let Nu hug Master- ah!” — Unhappy she stomped while keeping hold of his leg that was to shake her off, being surprised by his hand that lifted her in the air from the back of her dress. — “Hihihi! Master lifted Nu~!!”
“... Oi, kid. What’s that about the palace’s guards being exploded from inside.”
“Hup!... N-Nu knows nothing! Nu has been practising nicely, Master!”
“So nicely ya killed three of them?”
“K-killed?! Nu has not killed!! Nu has only made them boom slightly!!”
“... Effing earth that gave you a brain.” — Narrowing his eyes at the obviety in her innocent affirmation, Aslak felt drained at the girl’s lack of sense. Looking at her in disbelief as she showed a usual pout.
“... Well, tha kid is right, she didn’t exactly kill them but they died after.”
“Sire Kir says truth, Master!! Nu didn’t kill them!!”
“Don’t side with her Kir.” — Annoyed with the nonchalant Constable who with smug expression tried to aid the problematic brakian mainglousse, Aslak glared with dreadful spirit at the man. Proceeding to ask more about the other problematic people in his company. — “Where are Vinka, Ingve and Auflulk? Did ya get them before they flayed the dark-skinned northerner?”
“... Barely, aie.”
“...”
“... Tha man won’t be using his right arm for a while.”
“Fucking earth. I told ya to keep them from messing up.”
“They are curious just as we were tha first time, can’t blame them.”
“Then why did I leave them to ya?! ‘Cause we fucked worse, dumbhole!!” — Aslak then hit Kir’s tranquil head with a punch, making him stammer a tad before lifting his eye to smirk at the Lord.
“Hahah... been a while, wanna fight, milord??”
“Erase that waste of a face from my sight, Kir. I’ll end up killing ya this time if you don’t bring them to me right now.” — Severe and with no lie in his glare, Aslak made his Constable straighten, aware there was no playfulness in his sound.
“... Aie, aie~... Kid, be careful what ya say, your Master’s pissed.” —Scratching his head as he walked away, Kir warned the aghast Nu, whose young hands were already careful to cover her mouth before saying something unwanted by her Master.
"..."
“... What ya lookin’ at. Want ta get hit too?” — Throwing her after being stared at, Aslak watched the girl safely land on the ground, pouting further at him as she was to demand his attention. 𝒇𝒓𝒆𝒆𝙬𝒆𝒃𝓷𝒐𝓿𝙚𝙡.𝒄𝓸𝒎
“Master hit Sire Kir!! Master came to fight and not to meet Nu!!”
“... I came for neither.”
“Hmph! Nu wants to see Master’s Wife!! Master’s wife does miss Nu, unlike mean Master!!”
“..... Right. I’ll take ya with me when I go back.” — Contemplating long on the child’s manifestation, Aslak then decided. Having in mind the comment of his wife concerning the child. Recalling Ewelina’s joy whenever the brakian mainglousse came to join her side.
“?!!?! Truly, Master!!??”
“Ou... ya make Fatædi happy.”
“!!.... Hihihi~! Master calls Master’s Wife fatædi~” — Shy and thrilled, the small child chuckled with excitement at her Master’s unrestrained grin when thinking of his fated lung, making her excited to continue talking of the Archduke’s affection for his wedded. — “Master likes Master’s wife’s beauty!”
“Master’s wife is nice and soft!! Nu thinks of honey’s taste when with Master’s wife~”
“... Shut up or I ain’t taking ya.”
“!? No! Nu will behave, Master!! Take Nu to Master’s Wife!!”
Embarrassed by the child’s straightforwardness, Aslak became suddenly annoyed. Warning with his threatening amber while he pondered on how easily the young child had come to say such truth he had understood only recently.
From the side of his eye, Aslak then saw Kir coming back along with the wanted savages. Nonetheless, there was more he wanted to say to the child before taking care of the problematic wildmen.
“... Don’t go telling her I like her.” — Stiff, the unaccustomed barbarian ordered the curious child that stared ignorant of his reasons. — “I’m... I’m gonna tell her myself so I’ll kill ya if you ruin it.”
“!!? Nu promises again not to tell!!”
“?? What other-?”
“Nu cannot believe Master has not said it!! Master’s wife should leave Master!! Master’s wife should marry Nu!!”
Taking notice of the word used along her promise, Aslak was interrupted by an upset reproach. Which was to forfeit his wonder and lit rage in himself as fast as the girl’s run.
