Jericho crouches, barely dodging the attack, he then lifts her up by grabbing into her knees but spikes suddenly appears, piercing his hands once again.

He grits his teeth and throws Ophria away, the current direction is where Golden is.

Golden hears his command and shifts his stance before accelerating towards Ophria.

Ophria hears the panicked cry of her pet beast and quickly hardens her armour with vital force.

She grows bigger and her entire armour is now covered with sharp and hard spikes.

She spits blood from inside her armour as the attack actually penetrates through her defense.

As she grows smaller, Jericho was already prepared for her.

The attack shakes her body as she falls to the floor, the Living Armor had to rescind from her face to let her breath.

Meanwhile, Jericho falls to the floor, fainted from exhaustion and injuries.

That last attack destroyed his fists, he’s clearly in danger as blood continues to spill from his body.

The referee had to step in, he didn’t take Ophria since she wasn’t out yet.

Sean heals him, stopping his bleeding and mending his broken bones.

The battle was well fought, unfortunately, the difference between their rank is something that Jericho can’t just ignore.

He then turns to the people that were cheering so loudly since earlier, they change the target of their cheering to John.

They were Chika, Kawaii Chika, Jelly, Hina, Ganko, Bobby, Bun Bun and Sweet Fruit.

Bun Bun was excitedly cheering with her fluffy hands, jumping up and down, she doesn’t even know what’s going on, she just like watching the battle.

It might not had awakened Slaughter Aura because his kill wasn’t that large but the blood red manifestation of his skill still causes those around him to feel fear.

The expression of Ophria changes, she mistakes the red vapor coming from Golden as aura.

She’s sensitive to dynamic change of presence caused by an aura.

Unfortunately for her, if she only use her logical mind, knowing that Iron rank beings are incapable of manifesting an aura, she wouldn’t mistakenly told her Titan Centipede to retreat.

If it continues squeezing Golden, they might had won but there’s no medicine for regret.

Now that his figure becomes more intimidating, Ophria chooses to defend herself rather than going to an offense against a poisoned enemy.

She was slapped away by his skill, causing slash marks to appear on her armour which quickly recovers.

Golden’s main target right now was the Titan Centipede, it’s the only thing on his mind right now.

Once again, the Titan Centipede was hit by a powerful piercing strike that’s slowly pushing him near the wall.

As it was reeling on the piercing effect of the attack, it was once again hit by another one.

Then again, again and again.

Just as it was feeling weak and it’s organs was now bleeding internally, it’s opponent suddenly slumps down.

Five empowered Piercing Tackle, together with earlier skills used, coupled with poison and injuries, Golden was forced to lie to the floor, can’t move but still was glaring at his prey.

Sean looks at Maki, who immediately knew what he wants.

She waves her hand lifting Golden, Sean use Heal but the poison in his body is not easy to purged.

Fortunately, they have Johnson who has countless medicines on him.

The Titan Centipede’s poison can take down a silver rank based on their size as long as it can register it’s poison on the body.

As a juvenile, it can only take down those at bronze rank, so one advanced detoxifying pill was able to cure Golden.

The first one to be taken down was Jericho, as everyone expected, what they didn’t expect is how he was taken out.

Ophria is now injured and from what they see, it wasn’t light, she’s barely hanging on, she even forced herself to help her pet beast take down Golden.

Speaking of pet beast, the situation isn’t looking good for her Titan Centipede, it was also injured, it can’t even move properly.

The result of the match can only be decided by the three captains.

Right now, other than the small place where Ophria and Jericho fought, the majority of the arena is covered in ice and snow.

Up above the air, John was commanding his two pet beasts to attack the two teams below.

Mistress Witch, on the other hand, was using her Ice Golem as a shield while trying to take down her opponent with some sort of mysterious ability, together with her strongest pet beast.

Riding on his horse, Raleigh dodges every strike but can’t reach either of the two, the battle is now locked in a stalemate, none of them wants to use their trump card that early in the battle.

’With the current situation, the only person that proves a threat against me is miss Witch, her two pet beasts including herself has variety of range attacks.’ John assesses.

Raleigh also notices his lack of offensive capabilities against flying creatures and frowns.

He’s more suited at fighting in forests, his horse can blend in with the trees and can even use them as weapons.

In an arena he’s lacking this advantage, unless he use his trump card, winning this battle will be difficult.

He decided to deal with Mistress Witch first, his horse charges towards the Ice Golem.

Seeing this, John’s eyes lights up, this was his chance, as the Ice Golem was about to attack, it was hit by a ball of compressed wind energy.

This isn’t as lethal as a wind blade but it has a wider area damage, serving as an explosion type skill like fireballs.

The Ice Golem wasn’t hurt, it stomps on the floor, causing ice spines to appear that grows towards Raleigh.

He doesn’t know what it’s plan but he doesn’t want to give his opponent any chance of taking him down.

His horse accelerates, crashing into the pillar of ice spikes, they break free of the encirclement, only to be meat with a beam of ice energy.

A wall made of wind appears and blocks the ice beam, creating a tall pillar in the arena.

Mistress Witch looks at John and smiles. "I never thought that a gentleman like young master John would gang up against a weak female like me."

John laughs. "Weak? You? Hahaha! Sorry, miss Witch but I had never looked down on the fairer sex, besides, I’m not someone you can call a gentleman!"

With that a small tornado appears besides him and he wills it to fly towards Witch.
