The Beastmen of the Bird Clan were early risers. When they were in a good mood, they would let out a few calls. Even though the females couldn’t transform, they loved to talk, and could chat with each other from several caves away.

The noise woke Si Shuo, who turned and buried herself in Wei Ce’s arms. It was winter, and Wei Ce was like a furnace—so warm to hug.

"Time to get up, Shuo. Have something to eat to wake yourself up, or the cubs in your belly will start acting up again," Wei Ce said with a smile, gently stroking her hair.

He had lived a rough life before, always out and about with his brothers. He never knew a little female could be so soft and sweet, to the point that he didn’t even know how to best dote on her.

Si Shuo hummed in agreement and nibbled on a Dust Cleaning Talisman, which completely woke her up. The two Snake Cubs slithered onto her wrist, coiling like bracelets. "Mother, should we go try it out?" Sweet Ring hissed with a laugh.

Si Shuo hummed in agreement. She also wanted to test out Sweet Ring’s Curse Superpower, so she and Ji Liang teleported to Xu Chi’s side.

Zhu Bang was dressed all in black, his expression impassive. He was currently trying to persuade a Wild Boar Beastman tribe. "...I am Wuchang, a Black Crow Beastman...
