The tempered glass came with frames. Following the dimensions Si Shuo provided, Xiao Cheng drew power from Crystal Stones and materialized the windows for each cave.

The males of the family got busy, carving out the window openings to the correct size. Meanwhile, Wei Ce used his Earth Element Ability to fuse stone and secure the windows in place!

Si Shuo even took down curtains from the supermarket, rods included, and had Xiao Cheng equip each window with them.

They even installed floor-to-ceiling windows for the main cave entrance, and a waist-high glass railing on the platform outside.

When all this was done, everyone turned to look at Wei Ce, curious about what his new superpower was.

Wei Ce smiled and called out "Father" into the air, and just like that, Wei Jin—who had been sound asleep in his comfortable bed—was summoned onto the stone table!

Feeling the cold surface, Wei Jin rolled over and fell right off the table. He looked up in a daze. ’I must be dreaming. I was in my own home, how did I end up in a cave?’

With his eyes still closed, he fumbled around for a blanket. Although winter was over and the days were growing warmer, the nights were still quite chilly.

"All yours," Wei Ce chuckled, glancing at Ji Liang.

The latter touched Wei Jin and, in a flash, sent the man back to their clan’s territory. A moment later, he teleported back. Overall, his superpower was more advanced than Tuanzi’s. He could travel to any place he had visited before, without needing to set a waypoint!

Each of the males was very satisfied with their superpower upgrade. However, brimming with excitement, they instinctively looked for the little female to share their joy with.

"But where’s the kitty?" Zhi Le asked, looking around but not seeing the little female anywhere.

Everyone was stunned. Wasn’t she just bossing them around a moment ago? How could she have vanished in the blink of an eye?

The entire dwelling was so saturated with her scent that they couldn’t pinpoint her location by smell. But the cave was only so large, and they could see everything in a single glance.

They searched all over, covering the area twice, but she was nowhere to be found!

It was Wei Ce who finally slapped his forehead. He held out his arms, ready to catch her, and initiated the summoning: "Shuo!"

Si Shuo had been hiding and was thoroughly enjoying the sight of everyone searching for her all over the dwelling. Suddenly, she was summoned from her hiding spot on top of the curtain valance, basically falling from the sky.

"MEOW!" Her fur stood on end from the shock. The moment her four paws touched his arm, she used it as a springboard to scramble up, stepping on Wei Ce’s face as she leaped off, only to be scooped into Yin Jiang’s embrace.

"Hiss... Shuo, are you trying to murder your husband?" Wei Ce cried out. His face was all scratched up, and his arm bore several bloody gashes that stung with a fiery pain.

Feeling a pang of guilt, Si Shuo grinned and held out a paw, casting the Spring Breeze Technique on him. "Why did you have to summon me like that? Don’t you know we Cat Beastmen are easily startled? Next time you summon someone, give them some space to land safely. Who can handle suddenly dropping out of the sky!"

After she finished speaking, she could feel all the males staring at her. ’Alright, so I like teleporting to their side,’ she thought, ’...usually by crashing right into them...’

Si Shuo cleared her throat. "These superpowers are a reward I received in advance from the Beast God. We need to defuse the brewing Beast Tide in the Southwest Forest. Our mission isn’t actually too difficult. Our targets for culling are the High level Beasts and their young. The young ones don’t have high Combat Power, and reducing their numbers is a way of tackling the problem at its source.

As for the high-level ones, they are highly influential during a Beast Tide. By reducing their numbers, we’re also weakening the tide’s overall strength.

She was quite philosophical about it. Since they knew a Beast Tide was brewing, they obviously couldn’t just sit back and do nothing, watching helplessly as vibrant Beastmen became meals for frenzied Wild Beasts.

However, her family had neither the capability nor the obligation to keep the Wild Beast population at an appropriate level.

A glint appeared in Yin Jiang’s eyes. He also took a bite of a Transformation Talisman, changing into a majestic leopard cat. He pounced on her, nuzzling against her with the utmost intimacy.

Si Shuo froze. ’This... this male’s eager, almost fawning posture...’ Her mind couldn’t help but stray into naughty territory. ’Don’t tell me he’s planning to... pin me down in this form? I heard it’s really painful for cats when they do *that*.’ Panicking, her fur puffed up, and she bolted.

Thinking she was just playing, Yin Jiang chuckled and easily pounced on her again.

Si Shuo let out a yowl, turning to swat at him with her paw, but Yin Jiang dodged it.

’You know,’ Yin Jiang thought, ’the little female is much more athletic in her Beast Form. A little fiercer than in her human shape, too. If she could change into other Beast Forms and train a bit, she would have a decent ability to protect herself.’

’They had plenty of trump cards, of course, but gaining another Skill and boosting her strength could never be a bad thing.’

With that in mind, Yin Jiang continued to playfully provoke her, guiding her movements in escape and combat. He ended up "walking the cat" for a full half-hour. Exhausted and unable to run anymore, Si Shuo transformed back into her human form and collapsed onto the bed.

The only thing was, his was a Fire Ability. Even though he was careful to restrain it, a current of his Spiritual Power flowing through her body left a lingering, restless heat. Si Shuo couldn’t help but rub against him. "Yin Jiang, you’ve been working so hard these past few days."

He chuckled, tilting her chin up to kiss her. "What’s a little fatigue when it’s for protecting you and the cubs? I love seeing my Shuo’er and the little ones so happy and lively every day, without a single worry.

It proves that we males are doing a good job."

But as he continued, his tone shifted. "No wonder you enjoy leaving your marks on us so much. A female Cat Beast certainly has sharp claws... We’ll just have to see if you have any energy left to scratch me later..."

Si Shuo was beginning to think the males in her family had a certain... masochistic quality. The more she scratched them, the more they seemed to enjoy it.

The meeting and the window installation had taken up a good deal of time. By the time Si Shuo woke up, Tuanzi had already teleported Yin Jiang back to the Southwest Forest.

After their meal, while the sky outside was still dark, Si Shuo shared her thoughts with the group.

"The Beast God upgraded our superpowers for a reason—so we can transport other Beastmen to the Southwest Forest. Like Xiao Cheng said, our family’s power is too limited. The Southwest Forest is immense, and the number of Wild Beasts is enormous.
