Beastmen Love-Chapter 124: Monster Kings

Far from there, Khan traveled to another territory and uses his powers to find another group of Monsters. After meeting Astri and knowing that his father has allied with her, he knows he won’t be as powerful as before.

Kangki will only care about what is his and only that. That’s in a Monster’s nature, only caring about themselves and obeying the stronger ones. However, when one feels that can remove the other from power, they would even if it’s from their own family.

"I want to talk to King Salaz. I’m sure I have an offer that he will be delighted to hear." Khan says to a Monster snake that was guarding a cave entrance.

The snake slithers away and Khan follows him. The cave brings him to an underground city of beasts, lighted with few spots of fire, but most of the places are dark, humid and dirty. There are Monsters and Ferals living together there, and most of them are Monster insects. Giant cockroaches, scorpions, spiders and centipedes walk around tunnels underground.

Khan follows the snake until where a man with shaved head, dark skin and red eyes is having a female. She cries, begging him to stop and he only stopped because he was finished.

"What are you doing here, Khan?" Salaz asks after dressing in a long black skirt.

"I’m sure you’re tired of these weak females as breeders, King Salaz." Khan says.

"Do you want to sell more females?"

"Not selling. You will have the best female you could imagine. A female that will give you the strongest Monsters of all time."

That took Salaz’s attention and made him look at Khan.

"Not selling?"

"Yes. I just want something in exchange."

"In exchange? What is it?"

"I want half of your Monsters. And one your Earth Worms."

"I would never exchange all that for a female."

"Even a Pegasus?"

Salaz wides his red eyes in surprise.

"A Pegasus?! Your father killed the last Pegasus."

"That Pegasus had a daughter. She’s the Daughter of Nature. If you get her, you will have the strongest empire. I just want half of it."

That made Salaz more interested in it.

"Why didn’t you offer this to your father?" Salaz asks.

"Because my father is already being benefited by her."

"Explain."

Khan can’t face Astri and her spouses alone, and he knows Kangki won’t harm Astri knowing that she’s already his ally. And he knows that Astri is too powerful and that sees everything through Nature and if they don’t hide their plan very well, she will be ready when they attack.

Claud and Astri can feel that something is lurking around, that Nature is telling them to be alert, but they’re not sure about what will happen and Astri can’t also know what is happening because Nature is not showing her anything exactly. Everything that Nature is telling her is that danger is near and that darkness is near.

Astri can feel that is related to Khan. One day, she decides to go visit Kangki to know what is happening. Before going, she puts her children to sleep on the big bed. She asks Kai and Elias to watch Yuki and Atlas while she’s meditating.

She travels her spirit to Kangki and finds on his bed as usual. He’s with his eyes closed, as he was taking a long nap, but when he feels her presence he smiles.

"Did you miss me?" He asks.

"Always." She sarcastically answers.

"Come stay with me." He taps on his bed.

"Where’s your son?"

"I haven’t seen him since that day he was at your castle. Why do you ask?"

"I can feel he’s planning something and he’s lurking around. And he’s not alone."

He becomes serious and his eyes go completely black. Analyzing the energies around her castle, he feels that there’s darkness that does not belong to him around her territory. He goes back to his cave and then looks at her.

"Indeed there’s something. I’ll find him and stop whatever he’s.."

Then he saw her face turn worried, and then she fades away quickly. For some reason, that made him worried. He flies quickly outside and howls for Monsters to gather.

Astri felt something dark getting closer, for some reason she felt it was on her side and she felt her children could be in danger. She sees a black hole appearing on her side and then she positions herself in front of her children.

"HELP!" She calls for her mates through their minds and all of them get startled.

She sees a black shadow passing quickly to her side and then she sees Khan at the corner of the room. His eyes are aimed at her children, Salaz comes inside too and then her eyes shine.

The door opens with a boom, Astri creates a shield around her and her children. Elias and Kai are circling the crying Yuki and Atlas. Claud also creates another shield around them and the others focus on getting Salaz and Khan.

However, they fade away.

"They’re still around. I can feel them." Astri says.

"They’re trying to call our attention to where they want us to go. " Claud tells his companions.

The wall of the bedroom, that goes to the backyard, explodes and takes everyone by surprise. Another portal appears and then some Monsters come from it. Everything is happening quickly.

"You go fight the Monsters! I’ll leave her side only if I die." Claud tells the others in his mind.

The others go outside and then Khan appears behind Claud. Astri stops Khan from stabbing Claud. Claud brings a stone from the ground and then makes it become a stake to hit Khan’s chest.

Khan roars in pain and then Salaz appears at the corner of the room. He creates a portal on the ground, just where Astri is on the bed with her children behind her. Astri sees the portal and then she runs to her children and hugs all of them, opening her wings and enveloping all of them.

Claud raises the bed with his powers and brings Astri outside. But that opened the opportunity for Salaz to attack him directly. Astri’s eyes shine intensely and then she makes a strong wind quickly hit Salaz and throw him on the wall.

"Get out of there, Claud!!" She says loudly.

Claud runs to her direction, then Salaz quickly creates another portal behind Astri and then jumps on Claud to hold him. The portal looks like a blackhole, sucking everything inside. Astri uses her powers to keep her and her children still.

Claud and Salaz fight for dominance of powers, Claud throws Salaz away and then from nowhere another portal appears and Kangki comes from it and stabs his arm in Salaz.

Salaz chuckles, and coughs black blood, looking at Kangki.

"So it was true.. You have the Daughter of Nature."

"She’s mine! How do you dare to invade my territory?!?" Kangki says, angrily.

"I didn’t come uninvited." Salaz answers, laughing.

Khan, still stuck on the stake, uses all his strength left to raise the ground where Astri is and throw her at the hole.

"NO!!!"

Claud holds Astri and tries to bring her back, but he could feel that the hole is stronger so he jumps forward and goes through the portal. Zin quickly slithers forward to them and jumps through the portal too, before it closes entirely.

Kangki roars angrily and then pulls Salaz’s head off. When he appears in front of the other Monsters and shows Salaz’s head, it was enough to make them stop and obey him.

"Where’s Astri?!" Her spouses ask worried.

Her spouses ran and flew back, then noticed Astri was nowhere to be seen.

"Where is she?!" Cyprian roars at Kangki.

"I don’t know." He answers, then he walks to Khan who is still alive.

"Father.. I.."

Kangki explodes Khan’s head and that impresses the others. He just killed his own son.

"This bastard.." Kangki says angrily.

"Where’s Claud? And Zin?" Lee looks around.

"They went after her."

"And the cubs?!" Wayde asks worriedly.

"With them."

They breathe more relieved, knowing that Astri has Claud and Zin.

"I knew I shouldn’t have let her live with such weak spouses! Only two of you have real powers to protect her!!" Kangki booms.

He’s so angry that he wants to kill everyone there.

"If you kill us. She will kill you, and you know that." Koa says.

Kangki growls, and takes deep breaths to calm down.

"I have to find her. He probably took her far from here." Kangki speaks.

"Claud and Astri can create a portal together and bring everyone back." Cyprian says.

"Depends on the distance they are. I’m sure that Salaz didn’t choose a place nearby because he knew I was going to kill him."

"Can you help her?" Beau asks Kangki.

Kangki looks at them.

"Do you trust me enough to be the one to bring her?" He asks.

"She trusts you." Wayde answers, knowing that Astri is his weakness.

Everyone there knows that Kangki’s most ultimate wish is to keep Astri his ally, so he would do anything to keep her on his side.

"First I need to find her." Kangki answers.

"Can you?" Lee presses Kangki.

Kangki growls again, angry and wanting to rip everyone’s head off.
