Beastmen Love-Chapter 137: Hoping For A Better Life
Chapter 137: Hoping For A Better Life
Kangki is overwhelmed with the feelings of pleasure, of his life linking to Astri’s, of love and caring. Before he wouldn’t even care if the female would be in pain or in pleasure, with Astri he’s worried if she’s enjoying as much as he is. He’s delighted when she goes to ecstasy and he feels her clenching him inside of her.
She noticed he was enjoying mostly watching her reactions, so she fought for a little dominance to bring him to his ecstasy. He grabs her waist and keeps moving his hips up as she rode him, and couldn’t handle any longer to explode inside of her.
She falls over him, breathing heavily and he hugs her on him.
"Ah... I didn’t know this could feel so good.. This connection with you is so intense I lost my mind. Did I hurt you?" He sighs, satisfied with his body buzzing.
"No. I’m great. You were great."
He smiles, happy to hear what she said.
Outside, the others are envious and also not impressed that he took action. Beau was a bit mad because he wanted to make her relax and enjoy a night with her, but he understands better than the others that this is hard to contain and predict.
"He was a Monster, so he had other females.. that is disgusting for me." Koa says.
"He feels the same." Claud tells.
The others look at Claud and wait for more enlightenment after his remark.
"Being a Monster removed all feelings such as guilt, remorse, fear, affection, what is right or wrong. And he’s feeling all that again, raising insecurities inside of him. I know that you don’t see him with good eyes. He disgusts his own body for tasting another female that wasn’t Astri. But I must say that what he’s going through is proof of love. A proof he really loves Astri, and a proof that anyone can be anything if they truly decide to be it." Claud explains.
"All of us changed to be with Astri, and he’s not different. Maybe it is time to forget what he was and focus on now. Day by day we’re changing. One day I was sure I would never have a spouse, even less one who would love me back. I’m not the same as before. None of you are." Zin says.
Now understanding more about Kangki, they understand that what he had done is not a simple thing. And it wasn’t something done selfishly and only in search of eternal life. He chose to be reborn and learn to live again and they need to appreciate that.
Kangki doesn’t want to leave Astri even for a second, the strong feeling of connecting his life to hers is still overwhelming, so he follows her in the bathtub and then later to have lunch.
"Kanki sweet." Yuki mentions watching Kangki next to Astri as she’s sat on Astri’s lap with Atlas.
Kangki smiles and passes his hand on Yuki’s head. She decides to jump to his lap and he’s impressed at first, but then lets her get comfortable and he keeps brushing her hair with his fingers.
Yuki and the other cubs are proof that when someone is being raised differently there won’t be any kind of racism and there won’t be judgment towards what is different from others.
Yuki, Elias and Kai welcome the ones different from them while what usually happens is the opposite. Kangki is sure that Astri’s vision made this balanced life and he knows that more and more people will be affected by her.
At night, everyone is getting ready to sleep and Astri brings Hopin to the spare room.
"You may stay in this room, dear. You can use it the way you want. Just don’t break anything, all right?" She says as she prepares a bed for him and also takes a sheet for him to cover himself.
"Yes, milady." Hopin softly says.
Astri looked at him, who was looking down shyly. She can sense he’s feeling overwhelmed, worried, and scared.
"Sit here, dear." She says, tapping on her side after sitting on the bed.
He shyly sits, and stays quiet.
"What is worrying you?" She asks, her voice is kind and that makes him feel he can open his heart to her.
"I... I don’t think I can be a guard. I’ll always be small and weak." He softly answers.
"If you affirm that to yourself, then this is what you’re going to be. Do you think that it was easy experiencing what you went through?"
"No.."
"Then you’re not weak. You’re stronger than you believe. You see, I was also an orphan. Not having anyone to hold onto and always having to rely on people that didn’t care for me."
He looks at her a bit impressed with her story, he didn’t imagine that an orphan would end up being as great as she is. She smiles at him and passes her hand on his head affectionately, and he feels like a mother’s warmth coming from her.
"When I decided to not live like that anymore, I started traveling alone and I had to learn to survive. Learn to fight. I might not have any marks, but I can protect myself and my family if I need to." She explains to him.
"You’re special. I heard some guards saying you’re the strongest of all beasts."
She chuckles.
"You’re also special. Everyone is special in their own way. For years I didn’t know even to shift. I lived by myself for a long time, having no home or tribe, and I could survive learning to use others’ weaknesses against them. Anyone can learn that, including you."
He sighs and stays quiet for some moments.
"Do you really believe that?" He asks.
"I do. I know it’s hard because you went through horrible things and you’re not sure of anything in your life anymore. Just remember that now this is your home. My cubs will see you as their brother. I’ll care for you as my own cub. My spouses will see you as part of the family." She tells him, and he looks at her emotionally and with watering eyes.
She hugs his head and he cries hugging her too, letting go of all his pain, and she patiently lets him remove that weight. He falls asleep and she tucks him to bed slowly, covering him and then kissing his forehead.
When she’s back to her bedroom, the cubs are asleep, but her spouses are waiting for her.
"Was he scared of sleeping alone?" Koa asks, referring to Hopin.
"Not actually. He’s not scared of this kind of thing. He was only not believing in himself. He didn’t believe he could be a guard. I think he was more scared of me thinking I made a mistake welcoming him and he being alone again." She says going to her spot.
"Many would not believe too. It will be hard for him." Lee says.
"If I heard what everyone said to me, I wouldn’t be even here." She says as she sits between Zin and Tyr.
"What do you mean?" Beau asks.
"Since I was a child everyone would say no one would love me. Everyone said I would be nobody. Everyone said I was a nuisance. That I wouldn’t make a difference being alive or not." She answers, making them bite their tongues remembering that she also had a hard childhood. "I survived even not being a Pegasus yet. Everyone can be strong. Hopin is capable of being a great addition to the family with his different survival skills. Everyone can make a difference in the world. Every one of us. Believe in him. The same way you believed in me."
——
On the next day, her spouses started to treat Hopin differently. Especially Zin and Kangki, who were also judged by what they were, and Hopin was feeling full of hope being part of that family. Zin brought him to the tunnel building and showed him the ways they were planning to use it, Hopin gave an idea of secret smaller tunnels to outrun enemies and Zin loved it.
As the days pass, Hopin learns more about Astri from the training with the priest guards and every day he tells himself how grateful he is for being this lucky to find her.
----
Cyprian was working on a sculpture of Astri outside one day, she was walking with her children, gathering fruits for dinner when she spotted Cyprian. She smiles watching him, seeing dealing with a rock is like dealing with clay for him.
"It’s mommy! It’s so pwetyy, father Cy!" Yuki says with her eyes shining.
Cyprian chuckles.
"Thank you. It’s not as beautiful as your mom, but I’ll make it look better day by day." Cyprian says.
"You have a gift, love. This is amazing." Astri smiles at him, and he smiles happy that she likes what he is doing.
"I trained on smaller rocks, and now I decided to make the size I wanted."
"Have you noticed anything since you started it?"
He looks at the sculpture for some moments, and then at Astri. Her smile is telling him something else.
"Do you think you’re just good at dealing with rock like any other?" She asks him.
