Beastmen Love-Chapter 222: Jealous Spouse

The next morning, Astri decides to go to Aquaterra so they can take Seiryuu’s ship before heading to Hinoshiki Village.

When they got there, the Kings of Aquaterra took Seiryuu’s ship and started to implement some Aquaterran technology on it.

"We didn’t know you would take it, Goddess. We were thinking of a way to make it more useful." One of the Kings says.

"No, that’s all right. I love the idea. Please, make it better and imagine that a sacred beastmen will be using it. Once it’s ready, I’ll bring it to the owner. It will be a nice gift for the one who helped me by lending his ship." Astri smiles.

"Sure, Goddess. We will make it the best gift."

"Great. We will visit again in a few days to check on the progress. Or ask Deanora to call me when you’re finished."

"Yes, milady."

They walk to a bridge, where everyone can stay in line to pass through the portal. Astri concentrates on the location of the Spirit Tree Shrine, Kangki and Claud hold her shoulders to sense the location through her soul guidance.

"It’s far.. But we can do it." Claud says.

Kangki and Claud walk forward, concentrate, and make a portal together. Astri smiles, watching their energies working perfectly in sync, creating a big portal for everyone to go through quickly. Astri goes last, and when she passes the portal, she looks at Kangki and Claud with a charming smile.

"Aren’t you two hot things working together so great like this?" Astri asks in a low voice only they could hear while she passes.

They smile, Claud looks at Kangki, and his eyes say everything. Kangki chuckles, and they pass the portal together. Kangki already knows that Claud wants his private time with Astri on the next opportunity.

Everyone was looking around where they had just arrived, already sensing the energy of the place. Kangki and Claud are impressed with how pure the energy feels over there. Astri takes them to the Spirit Tree.

"I woke up exactly here." She says, standing in front of the Spirit Tree, and looking at it, hearing it perfectly, now.

Astri smiles and touches the Spirit Tree, and it shines where she touches.

"Thank you for bringing my soul to you. I owe you my life." Astri says to the tree.

"Who are all of you?" They hear.

When they look at who is talking, it’s the new guardian of the Shrine, and he recognizes Kenzou and Astri quickly.

"Oh.. You’re back! Welcome back, Master Kenzou. Lady Astri." He says, bowing.

Kenzou, Astri, and Shinkou bow to the male, and the others mimic them.

"Master Shin. I can see you’ve been taking great care of the Spirit Tree Shrine. Thank you so much for you dedication." Kenzou says.

"It feels amazing. You’re doing a great job, Master Shin." Astri says.

Shin chuckles shyly.

"I can see you found your family, Lady Astri. I’m happy for you." Shin says.

"Thank you. And I’m complete, too." Astri says, then touches the Spirit Tree again.

Shin is amazed when he sees the tree reacting to Astri, proving to him once more who Astri is.

"Lord Seiryuu at his castle?" She asks.

"Yes, milady, I believe he is. He came to visit ten days ago." Shin answers.

"Great. We will go visit him. I promised we would after I completed my soul."

"Would you like me to accompany you?"

"I can take her there. But I would love your help to gather bales of rice for us. Can you help?" Kenzou asks.

"Of course."

While they were walking together in the village, they called attention to having several people walking together on the same direction and also for most of them not wearing kimonos. Some females are looking at the drooling because they’re very exotic compared to the local males. Especially Bono, Cyprian, Caris and Carist, Galion, who are big and muscled. However, the others call attention, too. And Astri is not enjoying females drooling at her spouses.

"All right. First of all. Kimonos! Now. Come." Astri says, then motions everyone to the first kimono store they find.

Astri helps Yuki and Aurora dress, and squeals, thinking they look so cute in yukata. Then she helps the boys, making them feel awkward with all that fabric on them, but they were happy when their mother called them handsome.

When Astri sees her spouses dressing in kimonos, it is the first time she feels like in a harem. The sight of Astri blushing at them made her spouses beam with pride.

"I’m buying all your stock of clothes." Lee says to the merchant, with his self-esteem jumping high.

Claud and Kangki passed all of them the knowledge to speak that language, and the merchant is beaming with the great profit he just made. Even if Kangki and Claud wear long clothes normally, they also bought kimonos and look even more elegant.

"If I knew she would look at me like that, I would have dressed in long clothes long ago." Wayde smirks proudly and happily that his female was gawking at him.

"Me too." The others say in unison.

"You’re mine to look, too! No more skirts only." Astri pouts and looks away.

They nod, proud and obedient. Astri, Aurora, and Yuki walk together on the front, and soon they’re calling everyone’s attention. Shinobu appears after hearing the commotion about the group of unknown beastmen walking with the beautiful female that didn’t shown up for a long time.

"Wow... You were for sure very desperate for spouses.. Even children are you taking?" Shinobu says to Astri as they walk past her.

"I need to thank you for thinking I just became of age. These are my children." Astri says, stopping walking and then showing her children to Shinobu, who got shocked and mouth agape. "And these are my spouses and family. Those two dragons are my brothers. And Kenzou is my father from the heart. I feel great that you think I’m that young! Thank you! Wish you the best, too!"

Astri keeps on walking, pulling and holding her girls’ hands.

"Females are always stupid.. I feel ashamed." Yuki says.

"Don’t be. By their behavior, you know what not to do. Let’s be grateful for that." Astri says, and her daughters nod.

When they arrive at the castle, they’re impressed by a long staircase that goes up to the top of a hill where the castle stands. At the end of the stairs, there’s a bigger red torii gate with a black roof with a statue of a dragon on top of it, similar to the one in the village.

At the front gates, some guards asked them to stop and tell what they were doing at the Sacred Castle of the Mizuryuus.

"We came to talk to Lord Seiryuu. I’m Kenzou, previous guardian of the Spirit Tree Shrine." Kenzou says.

"I know who you are, Master Kenzou. However, the Mizuryuus only accept selected people inside, and they haven’t mentioned any visitors to come today." The guard says.

"We understand. Can you bring him a message? Ask him where he put the painting I gave him, please." Astri says.

"All right.. And, you are?"

"He will know who I am if you bring this message to him." Astri answers with a smile.

She goes up the stairs and sits to wait.

"You really don’t know who she is? And you can’t feel who she is?" Kenzou asks the guards, impressed.

"Let them do their job, dad. I don’t mind. Let’s sit here. The view is beautiful!" Astri says.

Kenzou melted when he heard her calling him ’dad’. He sprints to her, almost like floating, pushing Koa away and hugging her like a spoiling father.

"Hey! Don’t ever push me away from my spouse again." Koa says to Kenzou.

"Sh. You’re the spouse, but I’m the father." Kenzou shoos Koa away.

Koa sneers, rolling his eyes.

Inside the castle, Seiryuu was sitting on an elegant seat on the ground. And a very elegant male who looks very much like him was sitting on his front. Both were writing on paper.

"Did you find any worthy females on the last village you visited, Seiryuu?" The male asks.

"No, father." Seiryuu answers.

"The only female you found worthy of carrying your heirs, you gave her your ship, and she traveled to a faraway place you don’t know where it is. I believe it’s time for you to forget her."

"I could never forget the Goddess of Nature. She promised she would come back." Seiryuu says.

"I don’t think that she was a Goddess. She might have good energy that you liked. But again, she’s not here anymore, and you’re not sure if she will be back."

"I know she will."

They hear a knock at the door. Seiryuu grants the entrance, and the front guard comes inside and kneels in a sign of respect.

"Excuse me, my lords. A group of beastmen is at the front gate wanting to meet Lord Seiryuu. There’s a female and children among them." The guard says.

Seiryuu’s father chuckles.

"Females are losing more and more their control, letting their selfish desires believe they can do whatever they want." Seiryuu’s father says.

"The female didn’t say her name.. She simply asked me to send Lord Seiryuu a message." The guard says.

"Which is?" Seiryuu asks, still writing and not paying real attention to the situation.

"She asked...where did you put the painting she gave you.."

They get confused by the message. Seiryuu looks at the guard with a confused look, but when he finally understood the question, he stood up, saying:

"It’s Astri!"
