Beginning Of Multiverse Saga-Chapter 531: Face To Face Echidna
Hera and Sharky walked side by side toward the edge of the Underworld.
This was a hidden route, one Hera had used long ago, and only she knows about it. It directly leads to forbidden chambers where Zeus had secretly imprisoned Echidna.
When they stepped onto it... A sound cake from upwards. And with a hiss a sizzle of rain started falling.
When the Greenish droplets poured from above, and it struck the stone, the rock started melting like a candle with fire. This was no ordinary rain, it was corrosive enough to melt bone, dissolve divine armor, and erase mortals in seconds.
Hera’s eyes widened in alarm. But before a single drop could touch her, Sharky moved, he wrapped his arm around her waist, pulled her firmly into his chest, and turned his back to the rain.
The acid rain slammed into him. Drop after drop struck his body like molten poison. But nothing happened to him, not even a few parts of his body were burnt.
The rain touched him, and simply failed.
Hera stared up at him, stunned. Not because the acid rain hadn’t harmed him. But because he had shielded her.
"Y-you..." she gasped softly, her voice unsteady. "You protected me...?"
She was a goddess. The rain would not have destroyed her. But Sharky didn’t know that. And he didn’t even think a minute, before shielding her.
Her heart pounded.
"Why... why would you do that?" she asked quietly. "You’re not even a god here. That rain could have destroyed you."
Sharky looked down at her and smiled, he told her in a deep, warm and a little bit flirty tone.
"How could I allow even a single scratch to fall upon the most beautiful woman I’ve ever seen?"
Hera froze hearing that.
He continued teasing her, "Even one drop would diminish your beauty by 0.00001 percent. And that... I cannot allow it."
Hera’s face flushed red. Her breath caught. Her heart raced in a way she had never felt with Zeus... not once in all the ages of Olympus.
"...beautiful...? Me?"
Sharky leaned closer, brushing her cheek with the gentlest touch. "You are beauty itself."
Hera’s knees weakened. Her anger toward Zeus evaporated. Her entire world narrowed to the warmth of the man holding her. 𝓯𝙧𝓮𝓮𝒘𝓮𝙗𝙣𝒐𝒗𝒆𝓵.𝓬𝓸𝒎
The acid rain finally weakened and faded. But Hera... did not let go.
Her hands remained wrapped around Sharky’s arm, fingers lightly gripping him as if letting go would cause the sky to fall again.
For the first time in centuries, the Queen of Olympus behaved like a woman.
Hera softly muttered, "...Let me stay close."
She didn’t even realize she had said it. Sharky nodded, gently shifting his arm so she could hold him more comfortably. She immediately moved closer, her body brushing against his side.
After a few moments, they separated.
She also started blushing after remembering how she clung to his embrace. She tries to hide her blush... but fails
As they walked deeper into the Underworld, Hera kept glancing at him from the corner of her eyes.
Every time Sharky met her gaze, she quickly looked away, but her glowing red cheeks gave away everything.
Hera muttered looking at him in a mosquito tone, "W-why do you keep looking at me like that?"
Sharky didn’t leave the chance to flirt with her, "Because every time you blush, Olympus gains a new color."
Hera stopped walking. "...You’re too much."
Her voice cracked slightly. She hated that she couldn’t control her reaction, but at the same time, she didn’t truly want to.
Determined not to lose, Hera straightened up, raised her chin, and tried to regain her goddess dignity.
"You know... many mortals and gods have admired me. Worshipped me. Desired me."
She walked ahead of him a bit, then slowly turned back, her hair flowing like molten gold. But the moment her hips turned back, it jiggled a little, making any mortal or gods to abandon their reasoning and try to put their cock in the middle of her hips.
But there were no mortals or any other gods here to enjoy this scenario, only Sharky was able to enjoy it.
Hera walked near him, and asked, "Do you desire me as well?"
Her voice was meant to be seductive... but the crack in her tone ruined the effect.
Sharky smiled and stepped closer. He even wants to stick his dragon inside her garden, very moment she turns like a seductress and asks this question.
But he controlled himself, and again flirted with her, "If desire were a flame... you would be the fire that consumes the cosmos."
Hera swallowed hard and almost tripped on her own step. She knew her flirting attempt backfired, but deep inside she felt warm. She wanted it like this, she wanted someone to appreciate her beauty and Sharky was doing it.
And from the gaze of Sharky, she also knew, he didn’t only want to praise her, but he also wanted to devour her. But even knowing that, instead of feeling disgusting, she loves it.
And she also increased the jiggling of her hips.
As they walked deeper into the dim, ancient corridor, Hera found herself unconsciously stepping closer to Sharky again.
Because being near him made her feel... safe and something more, which Zeus never provided.
Her fingers brushed his hand, and she enjoyed it. Sharky, seeing this, said nothing, but held her fingers in his hand.
She blushed a little, but didn’t pull away, as they walked together.
They arrived at the gate, it was a massive black stone doorway. Chains carved with old Olympian sigils wrapped across it.
Sharky stopped and asked her, "Who is inside?"
Hera looked at the gate with disgust, and answered him, "Echidna."
Hearing this, Sharky frowned a little, after all, he walked in Olympus, and from Olympus to the timeline of the past, only for her.
He has so much emotion to share, but he controls himself, stays silent and lets Hera continue.
Still holding Sharky’s hand, Hera started sharing her pain in an angry tone, "That bastard Zeus... He always cheats on me... with nymphs, maidens, mortals, anyone with a skirt."
Her lips trembled with frustration, "And now he planned to do the same with Echidna. So I came here to ruin his little fantasy."
Sharky stepped in front of her, gently brushing his thumb across her cheek, "Then why not leave him? If he hurts you again and again... why do you still stay with him?"
Hera’s breath hitched hearing it, she didn’t know what to answer him, while muttering, "Where would I go? Olympus is my realm. My throne. Even if my heart is empty... I have nowhere else."
Hearing this, Sharky leaned forward and answered in a soft and deep voice, "Then go... to the right person."
Hera froze hearing it. Her heart thudded once, twice and it continuously started beating. She said in a quiet and trembling tone, "...I haven’t found the right person yet."
Sharky tilted her chin up with two fingers. His voice lowered, and he asked her, "What about me?"
Hera’s face burst into color, a divine blush spread from her face, which she couldn’t hide. She opened her mouth but no sound came out.
Sharky didn’t wait for an answer. He pulled her closer, positioned his one hand at her waist, and with the others he gently lifted her chin, and put his lips on her rosy lips, and started sucking it.
Hera stiffened for a moment, then melted into him, arms wrapping around his neck.
Her centuries of frustration... Loneliness... Abandonment... All broke under that kiss.
Sharky’s hand traveled along her waist, hips, and curved lower back, feeling that Hera trembled in pleasure.
They only stopped because the chamber door rumbled.
Hera breathed heavily and said, "Let’s... continue later..."
Sharky smiled and released her, but her hand remained wrapped around his arm. She didn’t let it go.
As they entered the chamber, torchlight erupted along the walls, and it focused on a half-woman, half-serpentine beauty.
Bound by divine chains, sealed in a kneeling position against a stone pillar.
Her upper body is stunning, dark crimson hair cascading down her shoulders while few rested in cleavage of her beautiful perky boobs. Although it was not so revealing, a few upper parts were not covered.
Her eyes glowing venom-green. Her lower body is a long, scaled serpent tail, bound by radiant chains.
She lifted her head as Sharky and Hera entered.
A slow, predatory smile spread across her lips. "Well... this is a surprise. The Queen of Olympus herself came to me."
Hera stepped forward and told her, "He wants to ask you something."
Sharky approached her calmly, despite her monstrous aura.
Hearing this, Echidna’s eyes flashed with interest, she leaned forward slightly, chains clinking, "Ask then, handsome traveller. Let us see if I can answer it."
Sharky stood before Echidna, and asked her, "What do you know about the Serpent of Ruin?"
Echidna tilted her head, genuinely confused, "Serpent of Ruin...? Never heard of such a creature."
Hearing this, Sharky understands that at this point in time, it doesn’t exist. Echidna still hadn’t created the Serpent of Ruin.
Sharky changed the question and asked her again, "Then tell me this, how do you move through time? I tried to find you, but your trace disappears everywhere."
Echidna’s lips curled into a seductive smirk. Chains rattled softly as she leaned forward.
"Time is a sea. Mortals, gods, titans... they cross it like a river, from beginning to end."
She flicked her tongue playfully, "But I? I can dive into any point I wish."
Her eyes gleamed with mischief. "Past, present, future... it all opens for me."
Hera clenched her fists. Her jealousy was rising again seeing Echidna flirting with Sharky.
Sharky ignored Echidna’s flirtation and asked her again, "Then tell me... if I want to find you, anywhere in time, how do I do it?"
Echidna smiled hearing it, and answered, "You can’t."
She paused before continuing again, "Unless I allow you to."
Hera’s eyes widened in anger, seeing Echidna continuously flirting with Sharky.
Sharky narrowed his eyes, and again asked, "How?"
Echidna’s voice dropped to a seductive whisper, "With a divine stone. A shard of my essence. If you carry it, you can appear near me, no matter which time I’m in."
Sharky’s heartbeat quickened. He finally found a way that will help her to find his daughter.
Without hesitation he asked her again, "Where is the divine stone?"
Echidna’s smile widened, hearing it, her voice dripped with playful danger, "First send Hera out. Then I’ll tell you privately."
