Chapter 51 - 046 When the Brain Fails, Think with Your Knees (Second Update)
"The Imperial Hotel." Tong Airui puffed her cheeks and glared at her brother, "Can you guys keep your thoughts clean for once? Every time You Jia and I go out, you all assume we're up to something shady. If you don't believe me, go ask the hotel staff—we stayed in separate rooms!"
Tong Airui looked at her coldly, "I can't even be bothered to deal with you. If it weren't for our sister holding me back, I would've dragged you back home by now. Why won't you stay at home with her and the others?"
"You know exactly the position You Jia is in with our family... I don't want to talk about this anymore, it just gives me a headache!" Tong Airui rubbed her temples, "Can't you guys stop looking at You Jia like he's some kind of alien? He's a prince, for heaven's sake."
"Brother-in-law went through the same thing back then!" Tong Airui raised an eyebrow slightly. "Feel sorry for him now, huh?"
"You've never been in love, so of course, you wouldn't understand how I feel right now! Talking to you bachelors about love is like playing music to a cow!" Tong Airui pouted and slumped onto the bed across from him.
Tong Airui smirked slightly, looking at his sister, "Dad understands love. Talk to him, and I'm sure he'll support you!"
"Brother—could you not rile me up like this? I really wish one day you could be in the same position as You Jia." Tong Airui sniffled. "Brother, You Jia got drunk last night because of my third and fifth brothers. When he left, he cried. I only went to the hotel with him because I was worried something might happen to him. I know you all care about me and don't want me to marry far away, but when love comes, it doesn't see borders. I just don't understand—if you can accept our brother-in-law, why can't you accept You Jia?"
"You Jia is an outstanding person, we all know that. But he's not the same as our brother-in-law. Our brother-in-law is the second prince of Soya, and he doesn't need to inherit the throne. You Jia, on the other hand, is the crown prince of S Country. When he takes the throne in the future, will you still be able to travel everywhere freely like now? By then, it'll be hard for anyone to see you, even once! Think about Grandpa, think about Mom and Dad."
"You Jia said, if it's because of that reason that you all can't accept him, he'd rather give up the throne."
"Is that even possible? You Jia's reputation in S Country is higher than Uncle Carlos's. If he announced he was giving up the throne, the people wouldn't agree..."
"Sister, I need to talk to you about something. Can you come out for a bit?" Yi Luowa's voice came from outside the door.
Tong Airui furrowed his brow slightly. "Go see what she wants."
Tong Airui rolled her eyes at him and quickly walked out.
Tong Airui strained his ears to listen to the conversation outside. Yi Luowa muttered a few words quietly, and Tong Airui came back in. "Brother, I'm going out with Luowa for a bit."
"Where are you going?" Tong Airui asked, frowning again.
"Girl stuff. Even if I told you, you wouldn't get it!" Tong Airui's frown was deeper than his.
"Sister, can you hurry up?" Yi Luowa urged from outside.
"Coming!" Tong Airui called back, then looked at her brother. "Can I leave now?"
"You've already promised her. Why are you even asking me?" Tong Airui waved impatiently. "Go on then, think about what I said earlier. If your brain isn't enough, use your knees!"
From outside the door, Yi Luowa scoffed disdainfully. That guy's mouth is so foul!
Tong Airui turned and walked out the door, exchanging a glance with Yi Luowa. Both of them pouted simultaneously.
Tong Airui held onto Yi Luowa's arm. "Do you want to change your clothes?"
"It's fine, right?" Yi Luowa tugged at her dress and glanced at it.
"It's not dirty."
"Ugh, this is so annoying. It just showed up without any warning, and I wasn't prepared at all," Yi Luowa grumbled.
Tong Airui laughed helplessly, "Good thing I just got here and have spares. You can use mine for now, and I'll have someone get more for you later. Luowa, why don't you have a girl with you? It's really inconvenient."
"Hehe... Sister, let me tell you, Aolie is even more attentive than a girl. But he's injured too, and I can't bear to bother him right now." The two chatted and laughed as they left.
Lying on the bed, Tong Airui smirked. The little girl's period came. And how does the Fourth Master know this so well? Because yesterday, his sister told him that Ai Ni was on her period. Even if she stayed in the same room as You Jia, nothing would happen. That's why none of them went to drag her back.
"Huh, little girl, why're you here?" As Yi Luowa and Tong Airui stepped into the room, Mi Chenxuan lifted the paper stuck to his forehead and looked over.
There were five people playing cards at the table, yet Mi Chenxuan was the only one with papers stuck to his face. Yi Luowa found it amusing. "I came to check on you. Why are you the only one with paper stuck to your face?"
"Bad luck, what else? Come over and take a turn for me, maybe change my luck." Mi Chenxuan handed his cards to Yi Luowa.
Yi Luowa glanced at them and pursed her lips. "These cards are terrible—no one, not even a god, could save you. You'd better keep playing yourself. I have something important to do."
"Sigh..." Mi Chenxuan sighed helplessly.
Tong Airui smiled at You Jia, who was staring at her longingly, and helped Yi Luowa into the recovery room. The two of them saw Little Raindrop coaxing Duoduo to sleep and lightened their steps.
Upon seeing his aunt, Duoduo instantly perked up and stretched out his little hands, babbling "ya ya." ƒгeewebnovёl.com
"You little rascal!" Tong Airui laughed, picking up Duoduo. "Sister, can you grab a pack of pads for Luowa from my bag?"
Little Raindrop hurriedly retrieved a pack of pads and handed them to Yi Luowa. "Go quickly—wearing a white dress, you don't want anything showing."
"Mm, thank you, Rainy Sister," Yi Luowa said with a sweet smile before heading to the bathroom.
"Ai Ni, did your brother scold you?" Little Raindrop asked, gazing at her with concern.
"If Luowa hadn't called me, he'd definitely still be going at it now," Tong Airui pouted. "Sister, do you think living in a family like ours is a blessing or a curse?"
Little Raindrop chuckled, "Of course, it's a blessing! Everyone here cares about us. Don't be mad—your brother may not know how to sweet-talk, but he dotes on you more than anyone else."
