Billionaire's Long Journey of Chasing His Love-Chapter 849 - 707: I Mean No Harm (Part 1)
"You say you’re tired, but Dad doesn’t hang up and waits for you to hang up his call?" Yi Luowa rested her head on her hand, looking at him intently, "What Dad is worried about is the same as what I’m worried about."
"I’ll increase our safety measures. I’ll never let anything happen to our family. It’s good that Grandpa and Grandma are coming back, everyone can take care of each other together."
"That’s why, Dad thinks more thoroughly than you do."
"Yeah, older is wiser!" Tong Airui stretched lazily, "Thinking that the whole family is coming back, I suddenly feel inexplicably happy. Honey, take a nap, or you’ll have no energy tonight."
Yi Luowa glanced at him, moved her hand, and lay down, "What’s the point of having energy tonight!"
"You need energy so I can take care of you!" Tong Airui laughed and pinched her nose, "Go to sleep."
Yi Luowa nudged his chest with her head and closed her eyes with a smile.
The two of them slept until nine in the evening, went down to have some food, and then went up to the third floor to check on Yu Xiao. The little guy was probably tired from playing during the day and was already asleep.
Yi Luowa caressed his little face, "Poor little guy, your parents, and grandparents will be back soon."
"Don’t wake him up." Tong Airui pulled her hand away, "Let’s go."
Yi Luowa glanced at Yu Xiao, then reluctantly followed Tong Airui back to their room.
The next day, the couple personally went to the airport to pick up Dad, Mom, and the three kids.
Yi Luowa held one in each hand, and Tong Airui carried one, and the family happily got into the car.
On the car, Long Che asked in a deep voice, "When will Xuanxuan and Youyou be back?"
"They’ll be back tomorrow."
Long Che said a bit unhappily, "It’s too dangerous, don’t send them both out together."
"Got it."
Long Che glared at him, "You’re just saying it!"
Tong Airui laughed, "Dad, I know you’re worried about your nephew and niece-in-law, don’t worry, I’ll definitely listen to you from now on and try not to send them both out together."
Yi Luowa saw that her father-in-law’s face hadn’t softened, and smiled to explain, "Dad, this time it’s really not Tong Airui’s fault, Youyou heard that Old Eight was missing and insisted on finding him frantically. Tong Airui had no choice and let Captain Xun of the special team accompany her."
After hearing his daughter-in-law out, Long Che’s expression finally softened a bit, "Well, that’s thoughtful."
"Don’t criticize Rui’er just when he comes back. After all, he’s already in his thirties."
Sangyu looked up at Grandpa, "Grandpa, don’t criticize Dad!"
As soon as his granddaughter spoke, Long Che smiled, "Alright, I won’t criticize your dad."
Yi Luowa changed the topic, "Mom, how has Ai Ni been these days? Is the reaction strong?"
"Not too much of a reaction, this pregnancy is much better than the last one."
"This little one is being quite considerate to Ai Ni." Yi Luowa chuckled, "If my grandpa knew Ai Ni was pregnant, he’d be thrilled."
Tong Yao shook her head helplessly, "Don’t bring it up, yesterday your grandpa was chatting with Dylan, and Dylan accidentally let it slip. Your grandpa got mad and scolded You Jia."
Tong Airui laughed, "He deserved the scolding!"
Tong Yao glared at her son, "I’ll let your dad scold you later!"
"Dad’s not speaking anymore!" Ziyan, afraid Dad would get scolded, covered his mouth with his hand.
Ziyan glanced at Grandpa, and seeing he didn’t mean to keep scolding Dad, let out a sigh of relief.
When the family got home, Ziheng and the others were already at the door. When they saw Sangyu and the three of them, the little ones instantly hugged each other and jumped around in the yard.
"Our family hired a new teacher!"
"The new teacher is super fun!"
"We’re going to shoot a new play today!"
The kids eagerly reported the latest news to the three little ones.
Sangyu blinked, "What kind of play?"
"Fairytale! The teacher will be here soon, let’s wait for him here for a bit." Ziheng suggested.
"In the blazing sun, aren’t you afraid of getting tanned? Go wait under the veranda." Long Che picked up Sangyu’s little hand and walked.
"Sister is leaving!" The youngest, Zebin, ran up with short legs to catch up.
Sangyu turned to look at him, "Slow down, little brother! Grandpa, wait for little brother."
Long Che stopped, waited for Sangyu to grab Zebin’s hand, and then slowly walked toward the veranda.
Connie and the others approached with smiles.
Zebin looked at Mom and shouted, "Mama, sister is back!"
Connie laughed, "Sister is back, are you happy, Zebin?"
Zebin nodded with a smile.
The kids stayed outside, while the adults went into the hall.
Tong Yao looked around with a smile, "Everyone has worked hard during this time. We old folks discussed and decided to end this year’s trip early."
