"It'll be a wonderful experience when I take you over. I'll make sure not to kill you!" The blood puppet screamed. She leapt forward, extending her claws and slashing. Lee Seng raised his arms to block, feeling the claws sink into his arms like butter. He winced in pain as he leapt away, trying to create some distance between the blood puppet and him.

"Give me more!" The blood puppet's arm turned into blood and shot towards Lee Seng. Lee Seng dodged the blood rushes, arcing around her. She turned her other arm into blood and shot it towards Lee Seng. Two waves of blood rushed at him at once. He jumped backwards to dodge the first one and was hit with the other. The blood wave sent him crashing into the half-cut trees.

Lee Seng grunted as the blood slammed him through the half-cut tree. He groaned as the blood covered his front. He moved pushed himself off the ground and shook some of the blood off his arm.

"Ugh, ew!" Lee Seng swung his arms and legs faster. He casually shook his body, ignoring the blood puppet with his sight. His ears perked up for any strange noises while his tail imitated his disgust for being soaked in blood. The sound of rushing water coming towards him, made him look up. He could see blood rushing at him. Lee Seng leapt away as the blood slammed into a half-cut tree stump behind him.

"You're mine!" The blood puppet screamed. Another wave of blood was rushing at him. Lee Seng threw his hand up as the blood reached him. The blood began to split in half. Lee Seng smiled as the blood puppet watched in amusement.

"I guess you can do more than run." She acknowledged. "Too bad you aren't going to be able to hit me." Her body became blood and she shot herself at Lee Seng. She twisted herself, mimicking a drill. Lee Seng leapt and rolled away as the blood puppet drilled herself onto the ground. Blood, dirt, and rocks flew in all directions as she yelled. She whipped blood at Lee Seng, wrapping herself onto his ankle. She pulled and Lee Seng pulled towards the drill-like blood.

"Dammit!" He cursed. Three arrows materialized in his hand and he turned the bow horizontally. He notched the arrows and pulled back. He could hear the command in his head. The bow and arrows swallowed themselves in his Dark Matter. He could feel the connection deepening as he gritted his teeth and fired. "Resonance shot!"

The arrows shot forward and spun around the middle arrow, multiplying and spinning faster. Gravity centered itself in the middle arrow, pulling the arrows like the sun was pulling the planets. The pull effect grew stronger pierced into the blood puppet's blood form. The resonance shot drilled itself into her, ripping her with the gravity's effect. Blood scattered and shot all over as her blood whip loosened onto Lee Seng.

She screamed as the blood tried to rejoin itself. Lee Seng lifted his hand to pull another arrow, following the motion engraved in his head by the bow and pulled out an arrow. He pushed himself up and notched the arrow.

"The bow's enchanted with different commands. The archer didn't even use half of all commands." Lee Seng registered. He pulled the bowstring back and watched as the blood puppet was struggling to rebuild herself. She screamed in agony, whipping destruction around her. Dirt and rocks flew up everywhere. She cursed in pain as her body began to form back into her humanoid form. There was a large gap gone from the side of her body.

"My beautiful body! You bastard!" She screamed. She clutched the side of her body, crying. "I'm going to kill you, Soul eater!" A huge circle with etched blood marks started to spread outwards from her. Lee Seng moved the bowstring back in its place and started to dart backwards. The blood magic circle was growing. His senses were telling him to avoid standing in the circle as best as he could.

He darted farther away from the blood puppet as best as he could. He hopped above the broken trees. The terrain had become harder to traverse and he was struggling to keep distance. The blood circle grew bigger and bigger. Lee Seng watched as it passed him twenty feet and stopped.

"I'm going to kill you, bastard!" She screamed. "Blood debt, blood debt. Blood must be paid. Torment my enemies, so I may become strong!" The blood circle started to glow as Lee Seng slowly made it towards the end. He began to take his last few steps out when the circle shimmered brightly. "Eternal Blood Torment!"

Blood shot like spikes. Lee Seng tried to cross the magic circle, but spikes blocked his path. Spikes began to shoot up everywhere. Lee Seng dodged the spikes. He spun and looked at the row of spikes coming at him. The blood puppet shimmered a bright red and Lee Seng sighed as he dodged.

He reached back and pulled out two more arrows from thin air. He began to notch the three arrows when a blood spike flew up at him. He whipped himself away, only to meet the next blood spike. The spike shot straight through his tail and he cried in pain, dropping the arrows.

"Dammit. I thought this wasn't actually--"

Another spike shot straight through his leg, diagonally. He cried in pain. At the rate the spikes were going, he and everything around him would be pierced to death. He pulled three arrows out and turned the bow horizontally. He notched it and pulled the bowstring backwards. Another spike shot up and pierced straight through his right arm.

Lee Seng cried in pain. He felt his own blood seeping out and he grew tired. The hunger from deep within only grew louder as he grew tired. His vision blurred as he tried to search for the blood puppet. Another spike shot at his left arm and he cried in pain.

He felt like he was searching for an eternity. He wanted to close his eyes. Ignore the the hunger, ignore the pain. His watch beeped and spoke.

'No... Please, no... I need to...'

Lee Seng's eyes flared with anger. The sapphire and ruby eyes only grew with more anger. He tightened his pull, gritting his teeth through the pain.

"Resonance shot!" He screamed. The arrows shot out, ripping spikes flying up to block it. It began to spin and and pull multiplying arrows inwards. Blood spikes began to pull and spin, creating a red layer effect. Lee Seng felt more spikes land into him. He cried and held his gaze at his enemy. The arrows started to merge with the blood and drilled through the forest of blood spikes. It flew straight at the glowing blood puppet and flew straight through the chest, blasting open a huge hole through the body, legs and neck.

Spikes began to pierce his chest.

Number 1 and Number 3 sat watching tv. The both of them watched as the tv switched to different viewpoints of the field test. Students were maneuvering, hiding, fighting, or hunting. The tv scrolled through for awhile before it landed on an interesting scene.

"Keep this one up." Number 1 said. The tv locked onto the current camera. It was a camera focused on Lee Seng. Number 1 and 3 noticed he had a bow on him and Number 3 nodded.

"It seems like Lee Seng got his hands on the Archer's Enchanted Bow. I wonder how he killed the archer." Number 3 said, pulling up a screen. He typed away and then moved the screen over between him and 1. "Look here, Nicole." Nicole, Number 1, turned to look at whatever data Alex had pulled up. He pointed at the B-rank monster stats. "It seems like the archer monster wasn't what made it a B-rank. It was a blood puppet."

"A blood puppet? Aren't those quite rare?" Nicole asked. Alex nodded. 𝐟𝓇ℯ𝒆we𝒃𝘯𝒐νe𝑙.co𝚖

"If you check the stats here, it took out a large amount of students."

Nicole scanned the information. The archer was one of the humanoid races they had known to be called as Elves. They usually kept to themselves, so it was strange that an archer was caught without its group anywhere to be found. She settled on the number of kills it had and looked back up at the screen.

Lee Seng was running away and the camera shifted to a high aeriel view of a huge magic circle. Nicole stood up.

"That thing took out 1/4 of the students?" Nicole asked. Alex nodded and removed the floating information. He stood up and watched with Nicole. They watched the scene unfold in front of them. Lee Seng couldn't get out and was met with spikes. "He's going to die with a huge spell like that."

Alex kept his mouth shut. He was worried for the kid. He heard from Akio that Lee Seng was working hard to secure a spot at the Academy. They watched as Lee Seng pulled the bowstring back and spikes started to shoot through him. Alex winced. He had never winced at the sight of such a thing, but watching Lee Seng become injured was something he hadn't prepared himself for. He started to turn when Nicole tapped him.

"Keep watching." She said. Alex slowly turned and watched the masked Lee Seng fire the shot. They watched the arrows start to spin fast. They both noticed the arrows began to rip through the blood spikes like nothing. The arrows pulled blood and quickly infused itself. The shot moved to the other side of the glowing blood puppet. They watched as the enhanced resonance shot ripped through 3/4 of the monster, killing it.

Alex let out a breath he didn't know he was holding. He sat down. Nicole stood, waiting. The camera moved back to Lee Seng. Both of them watched as more spikes pierced Lee Seng's body dropped to the floor. Blood pooling out of him. Nicole took a step closer.

"Why isn't he teleporting?" Nicole asked. Alex looked up. Lee Seng was bleeding profusely and stood up. "Get a squad out in the forest now! Examinee Lee Seng Chang has sustained heavy damage fighting a B-rank monster. Retrieve him at all costs!" Nicole barked into her watch. Alex moved towards the door and Nicole raised her hand. Alex stopped mid-step and forcefully was turned back to Nicole.

"Where are you going?" Nicole asked.

"I need to... save him..." Alex spoke between his teeth.

"You and I are observing. I have measures in place in case something like this were to ever happen. Follow the procedure, Number 3." Nicole's eyes shimmered like a prism. The hold on Alex let go and he nodded.

"Yes, Number 1." A tear fell as his eyes shimmered a prism color.
