Back in the cave, the Super Snake lunged, its maw opening wide enough to swallow a horse whole. Her chest expanded like a pressurized boiler, ribs flaring outward as heat built inside her core. Molten red light pulsed beneath her skin, veins glowing as the Flame Frog’s energy surged through her. Her body swelled, bloated with gathered fire, shimmering like a furnace about to rupture.
"FLAME CANNONBALL!"
A sphere of concentrated, white hot fire erupted from her mouth, flying straight down the snake’s throat detonating inside its body. The cavern echoed with a muffled explosion. Fire burst from the serpent’s eyes and nostrils before it collapsed, its insides cooked to ash.

Her eyes briefly glowing a deep, predatory red as her vision shifted to heat mapping.
She slithered deeper into the east side of Area 2. The walls were covered in deep scratch marks, and the floor was littered with the bones of Fang flies and Mammoth Mosquitoes. This was a land of reptiles. Suddenly, her Infrared Vision flared. Above her, clinging to the stalactites, dozens of glowing heat signatures were pulsing.
A thick, viscous glob of droal hit the floor next to her. Not even looking up, Maddy whispered.
"Oh, you’re drooling? That’s rude."
A massive, four legged creature detached itself from the ceiling, landing agressively that shook the ground. It was a lizard, but its skin was covered in jagged, crystalline spikes, and its eyes moved independently like a chameleon’s.

Maddy’s wings buzzed as she hovered back slightly, eyes lighting up.
"Ohhh... a spiked predator. I like you already."
The creature’s tongue flicked out, its body lowering into a predatory stance.
"Alright then, let’s see what you’re packing. Appraisal!"

"Ohhh, your snake friend was stronger than you. Magic and might both higher."
She tilted slightly.
"And he still got cooked from the inside."
The Large Lizard roared and charged.
"And you saw that... and still decided to rush me head on? Yeah. I’m taking that compliment back."
The lizard hissed, its throat turning a deep purple as it prepared to strike. Maddy braced herself, her Heavy Carapace and Steel Ply Scales shimmering.
"Come on then, let’s see if your tail are harder than my new skin!"
Maddy waited... She was a beige, chubby cylinder of pure destructive potential. As the Large Lizard lunged, she threw her soft looking body forward, hitting the beast’s chest like a cannonball.
"You think I’m a snack because I don’t have four legs like you? I’ll show you the power of a squeeze! LET’S WRESTLE!"
She activated Constrictor’s Grip. Even without arms, her worm body was a masterpiece of specialized muscle. She coiled her plump, beige form around the lizard’s midsection, her skin rippling as she tightened.
The lizard hissed in shock, its ribs groaning under the sudden, immense pressure of the ’tiny’ worm. It tried to thrash, but Maddy used her Grounded Stability, her underside sticking to the stone like an anchor.
"I’m a living hydraulic press, honey!"
CRUNCH.
The lizard’s breath left its body in a ragged wheeze as its chest cavity buckled under her coiling force. But suddenly, her Infrared Vision flared across all six of her beady eyes. Twelve more heat signatures were dropping from the stalactites.
"Oh, so it’s a party now?!"
Maddy shouted, uncoiling and flopping to the side just as three more massive lizards crashed down, their claws narrowly missing her squishy tail end.
They circled her, their chameleon eyes spinning to track the hopping, sliding beige worm. One lizard lashed out with a tail covered in crystalline spikes. Maddy didn’t have hands to block, so she used Rapid Reflexes to bounce her body upward, the spikes whistling harmlessly beneath her belly.
"My turn! Catch!"
Maddy landed and used Constricting Body to whip her own tail end around, snagging a lizard’s leg. She used her massive momentum to swing the entire three- on reptile off its feet, using it as a living club to smash into two others.
"I’m the apex of this entire tunnel, and I’m not even a foot long!"
