Birthing Legends: My Womb Creates SSS Monsters-Chapter 63: Whack A Worm: Mana Distortion in Area 3!
Arach finally move, not letting himself be overshadowed by a little boy.
"Sephi, you are not the only one to get to party on this worm storm!"
His body shifted, reforming: Two of his arms became massive Shield Spider plates, while the other four morphed into Spear Spider lances and Sword Spider blades. He moved like a whirlwind of organic steel, his mouth acting as a rapid fire turret, spitting Corrosive Saliva with the precision of a marksman.
In just seconds, the area was littered with the corpses of worms, felled by Maddy’s two sons. She watched them in action, a wide smile spreading across her face—it was her first time seeing Sephiran in combat.
"That boy... he really is a worm slayer. Did he not feel any remorse, though? After all, his mother was once a worm too..."
Sephiran, on the other hand, smashed a worm’s head and shouted with unrestrained glee:
"YOU DESERVE THAT, WORM! NOW DIE! DIE! DIE!"
Maddy was left speechless. Her son... truly had a thing for worms. Her gaze shifted to Arach, the weapon master. His six arms moved with deadly precision, each strike flowing seamlessly into the next.
"This Arach... he’s mastered every strike of his weapons. He can even switch them between arms mid-combat, making him far deadlier. Our battles... they’ve taught him more than I could have imagined."
He yelled to his sons, his voice booming with pride.
"Beautifully executed, Arach! I love how you switch your weapons between limbs! And you, Sephiran—truly a worm slayer! Keep it up! WHOOO!"
She made sure she wouldn’t be outdone by her sons, just as dozens of worms erupted from the ground and even dropped from the ceiling.
"The spawning rate... it’s going insane! Lucy said mana distortions can trigger rare spawns... and because it’s happening this fast..."
Her mind raced as the realization hit her.
"Mana distortion causes rare spawns... Does that mean I could face another Chimera Worm like myself?!"
Her thoughts were cut short as the newly spawned worms rained down on her. Without hesitation, she manifested her Divine Armament, slicing through the horde with swift, precise strikes.
The subterranean air vibrated with the screeching of dying worms and the thunderous impact of Sephiran’s bat. The boy skidded to a halt, his chest heaving, a wild, grin on his face as he looked over his shoulder.
"Hey, Brother Arach! I’ve already flattened one hundred and one! How about you? Are those extra arms just for show, or are you actually hitting something?!"
Sephiran giggled, clearly trying to tease his brother.
Arach let out a gut busting laugh, his four swords parrying a dozen leaping Man Eaters at once, dicing them into purple ribbons before they could touch the ground. He looked at the mountain of twitching segments behind him but gave a sly wink to Maddy.
"Ah, you caught me, Sephi! I’ve been too busy admiring your form to keep count! I must be lagging behind!"
"I knew it!"
Sephiran crowed, puffing out his small chest.
"You better learn how to count fast, big brother, because I’m not stopping until every worm in this cave is a pancake!"
Arach’s six eyes flared with a competitive red spark.
"Is that a challenge? Fine! Let’s start now! One... five... twelve... eighteen!"
His arms became a blur of silver and chitin, moving with deadly precision. He wasn’t just fighting the infestation anymore; he was performing, putting on a show for his little brother. He swapped a spear from his lower left to his upper right arm mid-thrust, impaling three worms in a single movement.
"Thirty!"
Sephiran’s jaw dropped. The speed was unnatural. He watched Arach weave through the horde like a dancer of death, the count rising with every heartbeat.
"N-No way... He’s already catching up?!"
His grip tightened on his War Bat. A growl escaped his throat.
"I won’t lose... I have to be the one who protects Mother! I HAVE TO BE THE STRONGEST!"
Suddenly, the temperature in the tunnel plummeted, then spiked into a searing, suffocating heat. Sephiran’s small frame began to convulse as his veins bulged, glowing like molten lava beneath his skin. Dark, oily smoke rose from his pores, and his War Bat began to hiss as ancient, demonic runes etched themselves into the metal in a flash of crimson light.
"DΣMӨПIᄃ BᄂӨӨD ΛЯƬ: HELL BODY!"
The boy vanished.
A sonic boom rippled through the chamber as Sephiran reappeared in the center of a worm cluster. The impact of his bat didn’t just smash them; it caused the ground to erupt in a pillar of dark evil aura.
"Two hundred! Two hundred and fifty! THREE HUNDRED!!"
Sephiran screamed, his voice layered with a haunting, dual toned demonic echo. He was moving so fast he looked like a red lightning bolt bouncing off the walls, leaving nothing but craters where worms used to be.
Maddy’s heart nearly stopped. She recognized that aura, the suffocating weight of the Demonic Blood Art. It was the exact technique the demonic chief ogre had used to dominate her, a forbidden skill that traded the user’s very vitality for overwhelming physical transcendence.
Maddy face turns into motherly terror as she shouted,
"Sephiran, STOP! You’re only seven! That art is a curse—it’s eating your stamina to fuel that power! If you keep it up, you’ll collapse your own heart!"
Sephiran didn’t stop, his eyes glowing a solid, terrifying red as he swung his bat into a Mineral Worm the size of a carriage, shattering it into dust.
"I’m... fine... Mother! Look! I’m winning! I feel... INVINCIBLE!"
Maddy’s gaze sharpened. She watched his body carefully, expecting exhaustion to take him but nothing weakened him. Suddenly, realization hit.
"Oh... of course. I keep forgetting... he has Demigod blood. That’s why the Hell Body Demonic Art isn’t consuming him! Like me, his Divine Body regenerates. Even as the Hell Body drains his stamina, it’s instantly recovered."
Her terror shifted to fascination, tinged with awe, as she felt the raw power emanating from her son.
"He... he could use Hell Body all day... and still be alive..."
