Birthing Legends: My Womb Creates SSS Monsters-Chapter 71: The First Daughter of the Chimera Mother — Part 2.
Blue windows scrolled before her vision.
[Magic: 1,000,000 | Might: 6,000,000]
Maddy blinked once.
"...Six million Might."
She looked back at the towering girl kneeling before her and let out a low whistle.
"She’s a living mountain... a real alpha. All those traits settled perfectly within her. She’s the ideal body to carry the power of the Dire Drake."
Maddy studied her daughter for another moment, clearly satisfied.
"Strong bones, overwhelming might, and the instincts of a predator... yes. You were built exactly the way I hoped."
Then she gently tapped Dyralfa’s shoulder.
"Dyralfa, stand. It is time to meet your brothers."
Dyralfa rose smoothly to her full height, towering over the chamber like a living fortress. Her slit pupils shifted calmly, waiting.
Maddy gestured to the tall, six armed figure standing nearby.
"This is Arach, your eldest brother. He was the first chimera child I brought into this world."
Arach straightened slightly, his posture calm but firm. All six of his eyes studied her carefully. Dyralfa turned toward him and gave a respectful nod.
"The eldest... the firstborn. Then you are the pillar of this family."
Her voice carried the same steady conviction.
"I can sense the discipline in your spirit, Brother. Should our Mother ever need defending, my strength will stand beside yours."
Arach’s mandibles twitched slightly, clearly caught off guard by the direct acknowledgment.
"...You speak well. If you are Mother’s shield, then I will stand beside you. We will keep this home safe together."
Dyralfa’s eyes narrowed slightly, a gleam of determination sharpening her features.
"Then it is settled. Together, we will ensure no harm ever reaches our family."
Arach’s mandibles twitched again, a subtle sign of respect and approval.
"Very well."
Maddy watched the two of them interact, her heart swelling with pride. She tried to hold back the tears, but one slipped down her cheek. Whispering to herself, she murmured,
"Oh God... my children are acknowledging each other... this is the best moment of my life!"
She sniffed, wiping of her teats and smiled faintly at that before turning to the smaller figure clinging to her side.
"And this little one is Sephiran. Come on do not be scared, her eyes are just like those super snakes but that eye is never to harm us."
Sephiran peeked out from behind her leg, staring at the massive woman with wide eyes.
"You’re... huge, as in HUGE!"
Dyralfa looked down at him. For a moment her expression remained perfectly serious... then her tail gave a slow, curious sway.
"You... look like Mother, a perfect replica of her..."
She pinched his cheeks gently, and Sephiran let out a startled squeak, his face scrunching comically under her surprisingly strong fingers.
"You’re... squishy."
She remarked with a small smirk, the faintest hint of amusement flickering in her eyes. She held his arms next, examining their strength.
"Hmm... not bad. You have some backbone in there, little one."
A rare note of approval threaded through her otherwise serious tone. With surprising ease, she lifted him slightly off the ground. Sephiran wriggled, eyes wide, but made no effort to resist.
"You truly are Mother’s image... If you let your hair grow longer, you could look just like her."
Sephiran stammered,
"I... I’m a boy!"
"You... are?"
Dyralfa tilted him in her hands, examining him carefully. She gave him a gentle shake, searching for proof, and felt his... wiggle in response. Realization softened her grip.
"Oh... so you are. My apologies, Sephiran. You possess so much of Mother’s grace that I assumed you were my younger... sister."
Sephiran’s eyes practically bulged out of his head. He kicked his legs in the air, his voice hitting a high pitched note of pure indignity.
"Grace?! I don’t have grace, I have MUSCLE! Well... a little bit of muscle! And stop shaking me like a sack of grain! I’m the Guardian of the Gate, not a doll! Mother, tell her! Tell her I’m a fierce, manly warrior and not—"
He huffed, crossing his arms over his chest as she finally set him down.
"And for the record, my hair is the perfect length! I mean... I get it, I’m adorable, but still! Brother points matter!"
Maddy just covered her mouth, trying and failing to hide her laughter at the sight of her "fierce" son being handled like a plush toy by his new sister.
"Don’t worry, Sephi. She’s just getting to know you."
Sephiran crossed his arms but couldn’t hide the grin forming on his face.
"Fine! But when she sees how I fight, she’ll change her mind."
Dyralfa looked between the two brothers, then back to Maddy.
Her expression softened slightly. 𝑓𝑟𝑒𝘦𝓌𝑒𝑏𝑛𝑜𝘷𝑒𝘭.𝒸𝘰𝑚
"I see..."
She lowered her head again, though not as deeply as before.
"My brothers are... interesting."
Maddy placed her hands on her hips, radiating pride.
"Of course they are. They’re your family. And speaking of family..."
She glanced at the clock; there was still one hour before Frovian’s gestation was complete.
"As per the tradition of this household... Dyralfa, prepare yourself. You must spar with me."
Dyralfa froze. Her eyes widened in genuine shock, her stoic mask cracking.
"Mother? You wish for me to... strike you? I could never lay a hand upon the source of my existence! It would be an unforgivable transgression!"
A sudden, sharp laugh echoed through the chamber. Arach was doubling over, his usual composure completely gone.
"Ha! That was my exact response!"
Arach wheezed, wiping a tear from one of his six eyes. Dyralfa turned to him, confused.
"You... you were subjected to this as well?"
"Of course!"
Arach replied, regaining his breath.
"As the firstborn, Mother tested my mettle immediately. I suppose this is her ’tradition’—a trial by fire to prove our worth to the brood."
Dyralfa swallowed hard, her obsidian talons twitching. She looked at Maddy’s confident smile and gave a stiff, nervous nod.
"If it is your will, Mother... I shall obey."
Maddy began to lead them toward the newly reinforced chamber adjacent to the mobile womb. Both Arach and Sephiran were practically vibrating with excitement at the thought of sparring.
"Yay! They’re going to fight! I also want to see how sister Dyralfa moves especially her tail! I want to see how she controls it!"
