[BL] Accidentally Becoming the Healer of the Deranged Archduke-Chapter 257: Indulge Me More.
Chapter 257: Indulge Me More.
The silly Xion, who had almost been ravaged against the icy glass, actually panicked at the sight of Darius’s forlorn expression.
"Ah, no," he fumbled over his words, cheeks flushed as he tried to console his towering lover. "I... I like it. I like kissing you."
As if those words held some kind of forbidden magic, the sadness evaporated from Darius’ eyes. But there was something darker lurking just beneath the surface of his gaze.
His lips curled up in an almost innocent smile. Yes, my sweet, naive healer, he thought as his hands started to travel down Xion’s spine, rubbing circles there.
Be kind to me. Always be this tolerant of me. Indulge me more.
He very tenderly kissed Xion’s temple as he said, "I like it too, kissing you, holding you, to feel you in my arms. Oh, Xion, I love it so much."
His words were so sweet, but his thoughts were drenched with obsession. If you ever think of leaving, I’d just... I don’t even know what I might do to you. So, always be this kind to me.
Xion wanted to be kind, he had always been so, painful at that. That was why even now, despite how flustered and terrified by the size of that scary thing poking against him, he was worried about his lover.
"Um..." he hesitated before saying, "Where are we going to search for Mycosera Tenberis?"
The only way he knew to handle moments like these was to divert attention.
Though his lips were tingling and his waist had softened, there was still a rush of heat wherever those fingers had touched him. Still, he wasn’t going to offer a helping hand.
Would that not be equivalent to courting his own death?
"O-or maybe we can look for Mycosera Glacialis, first?"
Darius didn’t reply. Instead, he laughed.
A low, sultry chuckle that made baby Xion’s eyes shut tight. Despite his urge to stay away from the dangerous situation, his fingers didn’t push Darius away.
They curled over the broad shoulders, trying to ground himself.
"Xion, what are you trying to escape from?"
Darius watched with secret delight at how much he had impacted Xion and yet his sweet baby hadn’t pushed him away. Not even once.
How wonderful...
On the other hand, when Xion looked up, he felt like crying with shame.
With no other choice, he covered his heated face with both hands, trying to keep himself hidden from the glaringly obvious sight.
Because those green eyes had gone suspiciously dull and there wasn’t a speck of light in them.
Just one look at them, and even the naive Xion could tell that whatever was going in Darius’ head was probably unholy and downright filthy.
His Grace smiled ever more gleefully, "There is only you, and me here. Who are you hiding from?"
"You," Xion mumbled while allowing his hands to be pulled away. Yet he still kept his eyes closed.
"Don’t tease me, please."
"I wasn’t planning on that, but," The Archduke kissed both the eyelids, relishing the way they trembled under his touch before those gorgeous blue eyes were back in his sight.
"Seeing you like this makes for such a pretty sight. Your cheeks are all red, darling," he murmured, eyes gleaming with satisfaction. "How cute, how adorable you are. It makes me want to kiss you even more."
For a second, Xion worried that it might really happen, and feared that he might... melt into it too.
"Your Grace," he said almost hatingly. "I can feel it." The hardness was poking against his thigh, making him worry for his own sanity.
And didn’t the Archduke already know it? He pressed further, almost grinding his lower body against Xion. But he held back.
"Darius," he stressed on the single word while ignoring the other half. "Call me that, Xion."
It wasn’t even a request anymore. The way he had said it, it was a command, an order, and Xion had to still his heart.
"D-Darius." Xion dropped his gaze lower, staring at the broad chest. "Don’t look at me."
Don’t look at me with those hungry eyes. They are scaring me.
Perhaps the gods on duty finally heard his desperate prayer, the communication stone vibrated with urgency.
Although it was placed on the table downstairs, both could hear it.
However, their reactions to it were totally opposite. One was so glad that he exhaled a sigh of relief, while the other’s eyes flickered with some not-so-sane thoughts.
Darius didn’t leave Xion immediately. Without a word, he scooped him up, cradling him effortlessly.
After laying Xion gently on the mattress, he smoothed out the tousled strands of dark hair. "Stay still, sweetheart."
His eyes gleamed with amusement at Xion’s wide-eyed stare. "Don’t want to set some trigger off, do we?
Xion just nodded, silently agreeing to whatever Darius said. Honestly, his brain barely even registered those words. All his attention was on those lips that had, just a moment ago, made him breathless.
His daze snapped when Darius leaned in and kissed him again. Not a plunging, ravishing one. This was chaste, innocent even, just a simple touch which disappeared within a flash.
Xion watched his lover walk away, leave the room, and head downstairs. When he was finally out of sight, the silly kitten collapsed on the bed, limbs splayed out in disbelief.
"I kissed him..." he mumbled, tracing his lips with his fingers. They were swollen, and yet strangely, they didn’t hurt that much. Only the corner did, where Darius had bitten him — quite a few times at that.
His fingers pressed over the spot, and he winced, but the sting only seemed to make his heart flutter faster.
Xion curled onto his side as if trying to hold in the bubbling giddiness rising within him.
His legs kicked slightly, just a tiny flutter, before he smothered his face into the pillow.
"I really kissed him... Ah!!!" The words were muffled against the soft fabric. Nonetheless, the pillow did little to hide the way crimson heat spread to his ears and the curve of his neck.
Call me by my name, Xion.
"Darius," he whispered, and then, as if some kind of bomb detonated in his mind, he started rolling around, tangling himself into the comforter.
