Chapter 323: Chapter 323: Mr. Endurance vs. Daddy’s Ego

~Evric’s POV~

I finally pulled out of him.

"Fine. You win," I conceded, kissing the back of his neck.

I helped Zayn up, my arm slung around his waist, and we headed toward the kitchen. He couldn’t quite look at me, the residual heat of his embarrassment clinging to him.

We prepared a quick breakfast together. Once the food was ready and we were both eating, I kept looking at him with a silent, knowing smirk.

Zayn finally broke, slamming his fork down. "Stop staring at me!"

"I’m not tired," he insisted immediately. "I just needed to eat, that’s all. It had nothing to do with the third round."

He quickly continued, his mouth running a mile a minute to cover his retreat. "It’s not like you are even that strong anymore, Evric! Your energy is not solid like it was before."

He started rapid-fire bullying to deflect the truth. "Honestly, I was just keeping up with you! I was not tired, baby. I was just pretending."

"I was doing you a favor, Evric. I didn’t want you to feel bad that your stamina isn’t what it used to be."

As his ridiculous excuses tumbled out, I just watched him, shaking my head slowly. I didn’t say a word, letting him dig his own hole.

He rushed on, his mouth running fast to cover his tracks. "Honestly, I think you’re the lazy one today."

"I was the lazy one? Me?" I finally managed, biting back a laugh.

"Yes! You!" he declared, refusing to accept defeat. "I was just being sweet and letting you think you were the one who stopped."

He was doing everything possible to avoid admitting his body had simply given out. The entire performance was so endearing, so perfectly Zayn.

I reached across the table and caught his hand, my eyes full of affection. "Keep talking, sweetheart. You’re doing great."

Zayn wouldn’t stop talking, continuing his relentless campaign to prove his superior stamina. "I’m just naturally built for endurance, Evric. It’s a tragedy I had to carry you through that second round."

I just kept watching him, a slow, dangerous smile spreading across my face, shaking my head at his refusal to accept defeat. I knew exactly how this adorable charade was going to end.

Once we finished eating, I cleared the table efficiently, giving him just a few minutes of false respite.

Then, I fixed him with a challenging gaze. "Alright, Mr. Endurance. You said I was the lazy one, right? You said my energy wasn’t solid?"

I walked toward him. "Come here, Zayn. Let me show you how lazy I was."

Zayn instantly scrambled backward, his eyes widening. He finally registered the threat in my voice. "The time is going, baby! We should go prepare now! We need to leave soon—"

I didn’t let him finish the sentence. I moved quickly, gently grabbing him and pulling him against me.

"Your mouth was fast earlier, right?" I whispered against his ear, letting my hands roam. "The more how fast that your mouth is, the more I will make you scream my name. You called me lazy, Zayn."

He opened his mouth to protest, to offer one last, desperate excuse, but before he could form a word, I drew down the only garment he was wearing, his sleep pants.

I lifted him slightly and pressed his back against the cool, solid surface of the dining table.

"You already proved your point, sweetheart?" I murmured, moving back into him with a ruthless hunger. "I’m about to prove mine."

Zayn’s hands flew to my chest, pushing playfully. "Evric, you don’t need to prove anything! Just accept you’re not as strong as before! I was the one who carried the second round!" 𝒻𝓇𝑒𝘦𝘸𝑒𝒷𝓃ℴ𝑣𝘦𝑙.𝒸ℴ𝘮

I grinned, refusing to let him off the hook. "I know. That’s why I want you to carry this third round, right here, right now."

He tried to squirm, attempting to escape my grasp. "Okay, fine! Let’s just accept you are not lazy today! But maybe you are a little tired, right?"

I ignored his last-ditch effort. With a smooth motion, I brought out my hard cock. I gently eased him back onto the dining table, but Zayn wouldn’t stay still.

He was too nervous, too ready to run.

Instead, I raised him and positioned him to brace his hands on the cool surface of the table.

As soon as he gripped the edge, his constant chatter ceased. He was silent, expectant, and beautiful.

I move up behind him, kissing the back of his neck, savoring the feeling of his skin against mine. Then, I gently entered him again.

The gasp he let out was instant, a deep, satisfied groan. The silence broke, and the proving began.

I set a hard, demanding rhythm. The sex was deeper and more insistent than our previous rounds, powered by my need to shut down his teasing.

Zayn didn’t moan the way he usually did. He was silent, letting out only short, involuntary grunts and gasps as I slammed into him. I was too wrapped up in the punishing pace and the incredible tightness of his body to notice the difference in his response.

"Who’s lazy now, baby?" I managed to grit out, driving harder, feeling my own release building rapidly.

My body tensed. The final, unavoidable wave hit me, and I threw my head back, releasing a powerful, satisfied moan.

I collapsed completely onto Zayn’s back, breathing heavily into his neck.

"So," I whispered, utterly spent. "How was that performance, Mr. Endurance? Was that lazy?"

Zayn didn’t reply.

The silence hit me harder than any thrust.

"Zayn?" I pulled back slightly.

"If you’re done," he said flatly, his voice devoid of emotion, "you can pull out of me."

Panic shot through me, cold and immediate. I stiffened, sliding out quickly. I swung him around, resting him gently back on his feet.

"What’s wrong?" I asked, gripping his arms, forcing him to look at me. "Did I hurt you? Did I go too fast?" My heart hammered against my ribs, dread pooling in my stomach.

Zayn pulled his arms free and grabbed his discarded pants, covering himself instantly. He refused to meet my gaze.

"Nothing is wrong, Evric," he said, his voice clipped and quiet.

"Don’t lie to me," I insisted, stepping closer. "You didn’t make a sound. You were silent. And now you’re acting like I committed a crime on this dining table."

He finally looked up, and his eyes were full of hurt, not pain. "You didn’t notice," he stated simply.

"Notice what?" I pleaded. "Tell me! I was focusing on proving a stupid point!"

"Exactly," he retorted, his voice rising slightly. "You were focusing on proving a point, not focusing on me."

He gestured around the room. "I just told you I was afraid you’d lose interest. I was telling you I was learning new things to please you, and you take that honesty, throw me onto a table, and use me to win an argument!"

"I don’t need sex to prove I’m strong, Evric. I needed affection and reassurance. And you just gave me an aggressive performance to shut me up."

I stared at him, the harsh reality of his words hitting me like a physical blow. The shame was instant and overwhelming.

"Zayn, I swear I didn’t see it that way," I stammered. "I was teasing you back. It was supposed to be hot, a fun way to shut down your excuses about being tired—"

"It stopped being fun when you realized I was quiet and still didn’t ask why," he interrupted. "Now, we need to shower and get dressed. The sooner we leave for the trip, the better."

I watched him turn to walk away, but I couldn’t let him leave angry. I rushed forward and hugged him from behind, wrapping my arms tightly around his waist.

"Baby, please don’t twist this in your head," I murmured, pressing my cheek to his shoulder. "We were only teasing each other, remember? You know I’d never cross a line with you. One word from you, and I would’ve stopped right away."

I squeezed him gently. "I’m sorry. Please forgive me."

"And I was never using you to win... maybe I was wrong to prove a point, but I thought..." I didn’t finish the thought, realizing it just sounded like more excuses. "I’m sorry, Zayn. I’m truly sorry."

Zayn stayed tense in my arms. "It’s fine, Evric," he said quietly, but there was no warmth in his voice. His body never relaxed into mine. He gently moved my hand away and walked into the bedroom without looking back.

How could I have been so blind? The thought tore through me. I turned him into an object, nothing more than a trophy to prove a meaningless point.

I really messed up this time.

We showered in silence. The usual playful intimacy was replaced by a sterile efficiency. We dressed quickly for the trip.

Soon, my driver arrived and loaded our luggage.

Zayn and I settled into the back of the car. The trip began, but the silence between us was...
