[BL] Seducing Male Leads To Survive As A Villain In A Novel-Chapter 318: Your Assignment
Leo was still teaching when his eyes fell on where Eden was. He paused his lesson as he stared at Eden, who was fast asleep.
The whole class also turned to look in Eden’s direction. They were already smiling and murmuring when they saw him sleeping, some already fracking up jokes.
Helen, on the other hand, was simply panicking on his behalf. She wanted to wake him up, but it was already too late because Leo was making his way toward him. She could only pray for him.
Leo soon stood before Eden, his book in his hand as he stared down at him.
He sighed as he brought his finger down to tap on Eden’s desk. But after a couple of taps, Eden was still asleep.
Leo sighed, staring down at him. He tapped again. But this time, Eden sleepily took his hand. He tucked Leo’s hand beneath his cheek and used it as a pillow, cuddling it while rubbing it against his face.
The whole class stared in utmost shock. They simply couldn’t believe their eyes. They couldn’t help but collectively conclude that Eden was done for—that he would be reported and punished.
Most were happy about this conclusion.
While some simply laughed.
Helen was panicking for him.
Leo was quiet. He stood there staring down at Eden. He watched as Eden rubbed his hand against his face. He stared at his lashes, his nose, his lips.
And then Eden brought Leo’s hand to his lips and kissed it in his sleep. Like someone having a lovely dream.
"..."
The students were simply shocked. They couldn’t contain their shock as they stared at each other.
And what was more shocking was that Leo did nothing. He stood there staring at Eden, letting him do as he wished. 𝓯𝙧𝙚𝒆𝙬𝙚𝒃𝙣𝙤𝒗𝓮𝓵.𝙘𝙤𝙢
As Eden kissed his hand, he paused and then opened his eyes. He felt something was wrong. And the moment he stared at the hand before him, which he was clutching tightly like a teddy bear, he knew it was over for him.
His eyes met Leo’s. Leo was casually staring at him. Eden panicked.
"I wonder how sweet the dream was that you’re taking advantage of me in broad daylight," Leo said. Eden instantly let go of his hand.
"Ah, I’m sorry about... that..." Eden prayed that the ground would open and he’d fall in—well, he technically could do that, but still!
"As if coming late to my class wasn’t enough, now you’re sleeping in my class? What an interesting thing to do on your first day."
Eden bit his lip without words.
"I wonder what your name is..." Leo stared at him.
Lyeian. That was what ran through his mind. And that was what he was going to say. If some brats hadn’t chimed in!
"Eden!" one laughed.
"Teacher, that’s his name, in case he lies to you to escape punishment!" another said, and they all laughed.
Eden was now regretting not changing his name. But at least Leo didn’t know him by that name. Right?
Leo stared at him. His expression was neutral as he said, "Eden. What do I do with you now?"
"Forgive me?" Eden flashed him a sweet smile, one with hope that he’d let him go.
"Should I just report you to the authorities?"
"Yes!" some boys chorused from the back.
"No..." Eden gave him puppy eyes. At least he tried.
Leo bent his head down, his face close to Eden’s. Their eyes locked as Eden moved backward. He couldn’t stop his heart from fluttering.
"It seems you have a lot of free time. So I’ll make sure you make good use of it," Leo scoffed as he stepped back and headed to the front of the class.
"I’ll have you read through The Arts of War and transcribe it all in your own words and understanding, while making references to some philosophical logics of war." He stood at the front of the class and stared at Eden with a sharp smile. "Is that clear, Mr. Eden?"
Eden blinked. "Huh? How’s that possible... I mean... How can I do that...?"
The task was a huge one. He was sure of it. And it was impossible for him to do at all! He didn’t even understand anything about it, and there were no AI chatbots in this era to help him summarize the key points!
"That’s why it’s a punishment," Leo said. "And I want it done before the next time I come to teach you. If not, then I fear you’ll be going in for a deeper punishment."
Eden stared at him without words. He couldn’t help but think about how doomed he was. That was an impossible task, so he might as well wait for the impossible.
The class was soon done, and Leo stepped out. The students proceeded with their noisy chats and laughter.
Some were clearly mocking Eden while laughing at him. Eden didn’t bother looking their way. He stared at Helen, who was staring back at him.
The two were strolling outside, enjoying the fresh air while waiting for the next program.
"Do you think he recognized me?" Eden asked.
"I doubt it. You said you used some magical stuff. So he probably doesn’t..." Helen said.
Eden nodded. "Yeah. That makes sense. But what about you? He might recognize you."
"Maybe? I don’t know. We’re not that close; maybe he forgot about me. He didn’t even look my way, let alone call for me after class."
Eden sighed. "Maybe."
"I didn’t even expect to see him here. If I had, I would have planned for it," Eden sighed. "Now I have to play it by ear. And be careful that he doesn’t recognize me. I don’t think we’re that close, so he might not keep my secret."
Helen nodded. "True. But staying away from him is impossible now since you’ve gotten his attention," she explained.
Eden sighed. "Oh gosh! That doomed assignment! How the hell does my stay here just keep getting worse?!"
