Blood Holy Scripture: True Ancestor Charlotte de Castel-Chapter 956 - 23: A Day in Charlotte’s Life (End of Book)
The classroom was so quiet you could hear a pin drop.
The boy who asked the question had long since turned red with embarrassment, lowering his head in shame.
Everyone was awestruck by the indisputable confidence and profound reverence in Sebastian's words, even the most lively students had subdued their smiles, falling into deep thought.
Charlotte stared blankly at the solemn Sebastian on the podium, the slight embarrassment she felt from being teased had vanished, replaced by an indescribable, strange stirring within her.
It was as if a string buried deep in her heart had been gently plucked by those solemn words.
The morning class ended in an atmosphere both solemn and fulfilling.
In the latter part of the lesson, Sebastian dissected the essence of fundamental elemental theories from the perspective of an elf, his insightful views and exquisite explanations mesmerized all the students, regardless of which continent they hailed from.
It wasn't until the class bell rang that the students awoke from their daze, rising to their feet and applauding the two scholars enthusiastically.
At lunchtime, Charlotte, attended by her personal maid Sherry, had a light meal in the academy's elegant dining hall.
She didn't have much of an appetite, so she asked Sherry to wrap up a meticulously prepared sandwich and fruit in oil paper, along with her favorite apple juice, to take to her favorite secluded garden courtyard behind the academy.
The courtyard was not large, but lush and vibrant, with a small fountain at its center, the water trickling pleasantly.
Charlotte sat on the familiar stone bench, taking small bites of her sandwich, her gaze wandering as she stared at the clear, cloudless sky.
"Sherry,"
She suddenly spoke, her voice soft.
"Miss?"
The young girl standing by her side immediately responded.
"In the scriptures of the Moon God Church, it says that Her Majesty, the Moon God Artemis, resides in the Moon Dream Realm; while the Holy Scripture of the Holy Royal Court says that His Majesty, the Divine Lord Haral, sits high on the Divine Throne of the Holy Royal Court."
Charlotte paused, pure wonder and curiosity filling her blue eyes:
"Then... what about the Creation Goddess who bestowed power upon them and created all this? Where does she... reside?"
Sherry was taken aback, clearly not expecting the young miss to ask such a question.
She tried to recall the content of the morning class, repeating somewhat hesitantly:
"Scholar Sebastian mentioned... the Creation Goddess is the origin of all things, she... should be everywhere, right?"
"Everywhere..."
Charlotte murmured, repeating it, her gaze still fixed on the depths of the sky, as if trying to find something beyond the azure.
Suddenly, she chuckled softly, turning her head to make a joke to Sherry:
"Do you think that the omnipresent goddess might be watching us right now from somewhere?"
Her smile was bright, carrying a mischievousness unique to young girls.
However, Sherry was made somewhat awkward by this abrupt joke, opening her mouth but not knowing how to respond. 𝒇𝙧𝙚𝓮𝔀𝓮𝒃𝙣𝓸𝒗𝒆𝒍.𝙘𝒐𝒎
Charlotte was about to laugh and reassure her that it was just a joke when she suddenly froze.
An extremely subtle, indescribable feeling struck her without warning.
The smile on her face froze, and almost instinctively, she turned her head, staring straight in a certain direction.
The afternoon sunlight sifted through the dense oak leaves, casting dappled, swaying shadows on the ground.
There was no one there, only the rustle of leaves in the wind.
"Miss? What's wrong?"
Sherry asked worriedly, following her gaze but seeing nothing.
Charlotte blinked, the strange feeling had vanished, so quickly it seemed like an illusion.
She shook her head, withdrawing her gaze, finding her own reaction somewhat amusing.
"It's nothing," she said softly, picking up the half-eaten sandwich again:
"I must have been seeing things."
...
Not far from the courtyard.
In the shadows cast by the thick canopy of that oak tree.
There stood three figures, invisible to mortal eyes.
At the forefront was a blonde girl draped in a black divine skirt shimmering with the light of stars and moons, her appearance remarkably similar to the girl on the stone bench nearby, though her eyes were a mysterious and profound shade of crimson gold.
To her left stood a beautiful goddess with silver hair and eyes, her aura as serene and cool as the moon.
The Moon God Artemis.
On her right was a handsome deity with golden hair and eyes, radiating warmth and majestic brilliance.
The Sun God Helios.
Artemis stared at the oblivious girl in the courtyard, sipping her apple juice, her exquisite face full of incredible astonishment:
"It's truly marvelous. Even knowing that this is the 'result' after you reshaped causality, seeing a mortal with such a similar face yet so different is still shocking. She's practically..."
The divine light in Helios' golden eyes shimmered slightly.
His power was greater, and he saw even more.
He gazed at the girl Charlotte, his brow furrowing imperceptibly, shaking his head slowly as he interrupted Artemis:
"No, Artemis. It's not just 'similarity.'"
He paused, seemingly hesitant, his golden pupils turning to the blonde girl before him, his voice carrying a trace of subtle inquiry:
"Her spiritual waves... her existential 'imprint'... a part of her soul seems to... connect with the teacher's origin..."
He did not continue, but the meaning was clear.
Artemis immediately understood, also looking to the blonde girl, curiosity in her gaze.
Charlotte, who had become the Creator God, stood there silently.
