Blood Titan System-Chapter 20 Evaluation Day (III)
The large hall was filled to the brim with the common class students discussing nervously amongst each other. The excitement in their eyes was very evident.
Randolph was from the "Ascending class" type of student, therefore he wasn't with Erian at the moment but amongst his peers. While Randolph mostly didn't care about the rules and chose to stay with the common class student along with Erian, the teachers wouldn't allow for such nonsense with the arrival of Bane Horton.
"Hey."
Erian tore his gaze away from the window and glanced sideways, seeing it was a familiar face. It was Helius.
"Hey." Erian responded and turned back to watch the hall not too far from his class room. The hall contained the group "Ascending class" students, already taking their tests.
Helius nervously chuckled, scratching his head when he noticed Erian's gaze and then he said "Some of them must have Level three Nuclear pulse."
Erian wasn't really surprised by this but still asked, "How do you know?"
Helius said, "My father said that there are several of them every year. There was even a guy with Level four low-quality Nuclear Pulse five years ago. He was directly taken into the city."
A few teachers then entered the Common class hall, attracting everyone's attention including Erian's. The teachers began setting up a couple of devices at the podium and then proceeded to call names
It had already started up ahead.
"Place your hands on the glass panel and even if you feel pain, do not remove your hand or the evaluation will be over for you and that's the end of it." Teacher Grey sternly warned.
The five students gulped nervously but nodded their heads in response.
It had already started up ahead.
The first one was Quinn Borden. She placed her hands on the glass tablet. A second later, a yelp escaped her lips but she didn't dare remove her hands as this was the only chance she could get right now to reveal her talent.
A purplish glow radiated off the glass panel to reveal a few written words.
"Next!" Teacher Grey's voice echoed throughout the filled hall. Telen Blade quickly moved forwards to replace Qinn's position, placing his hands also on the glass panel.
"Next!"
"Next!!"
"Next!!!"
Time trickled by like water drops from a tap. The excitement of the students was starting to wane as they waited patiently for their results.
"Daniel Reidmore, Motee Casper, Erian Falstone, Theston Castleford and Brook Fade!" 𝒇𝑟e𝙚𝑤𝙚𝐛𝗻𝐨ν𝚎𝘭.c𝐨m
Erian was jolted out of his meditation. Along with the other four students, Erian walked toward the mechanism. He could vividly see what the mechanism now. It looked really futuristic but was a bit bulky. Erian could remember, Bane Horton didn't bring a single thing with him and yet, he was able to distribute numerous Pulse Evaluating machines to each class, making Erian wonder just how that was possible. Maybe he stored it within his plane?
Placing his hands on the glass panel, there was a solid chill which sped from his hand like a racing horse towards his entire body, as though it was some sort of wave. This instantly made Erian take in a deep breath. After a second, the wave of chill escaped from his body and transferred back into the machine.
A radiant violet glow emanated from the glass panel and then diffused after a second. Erian withdrew his hand and he was dismissed.
Suddenly, one of the teachers beside Teacher Grey glanced at Erian and asked in surprise, "Erian, you made a breakthrough?"
The teacher was certain. He only asked it because he sensed Erian's footsteps were much more organised and concise than previously.
Helius and the other students looked at Erian in surprise. The guy had made a breakthrough after three years of being at the same level?
Erian smiles at the teachers and said, "Thank you for your concern,. I understood a lot of things after the near-death experience I had gone through, which allowed me to make breakthroughs."
"That's really nice. You should be level four now after your breakthrough right? If you work harder, it's possible that you can reach level five before the University entrance examinations."
Teacher Grey was quite delighted. Erian was one of his students after all.
Someone suddenly spoke up in disdain, "A breakthrough after three years in school. I've never seen anyone with worse aptitude."
Ignoring the mockery, Erian simply smiled and said, "I'm level five now."
"Huh?"
The students were instantly surprised and also full of doubt doubtful.
Even the teacher frowned at Erian and said sternly. "You shouldn't lie about your strength just to look good, you've made a breakthrough so no one would look down on you now."
Erian shook his head and said, "Teacher, I'm speaking the truth. I think it's because I stayed in level three for far too long. After I advanced into level four, I reached level five very quickly and I also feel that I may have more breakthroughs before the start of the coming exams."
"Seriously?"
"Perform the last stance of the fifth level of the Rudimental Cell Rejuvenating Technique."
This instant caught Erian's attention, but he wasn't at all vexed. He had said he was level five because his strength had simply exceeded that level and that was the only way to explain his strength.
Erian's body slanted forwards, almost parallel to the ground as his hands twisted along with his wrist, posing in a difficult stance, jabbing twice in mid air, releasing clapping sounds in the air. But Erian made it looked very easy as though this was the thousandth time he was doing this very stance.
"Hmm. You're truly a Level-five expert now, even stronger than the usual level Five. In that case, you shouldn't slack off just because you've made a break through. Strive to make even more breakthrough. You can only strike while the iron is hot."
"Thank you, sir."
His other classmates were uninterested. They even felt humiliated that a useless guy had caught up with them. The guy was also confident of another breakthrough? Did he really think that it was so easy?
