Bloodmancer in the Jurassic Era: I use my Dinos to seduce Human mates-Chapter 188: Alien River Snake
The Alien River Snake in container fifteen was one of a kind. It looked like it, at least, but he wasn’t sure if it could survive the massive crocodiles, and other creatures that resided in the river that pierced the grasslands, and headed towards the west hills.
Jimmy knew that the crocodiles in that river were a menace, the land dinosaurs that hunted in those rivers even more so, but he didn’t know what types of fish roamed in there. Normal fish, that is, and it was making him nervous.
"If there are the equivalent of giant piranhas in those waters, the snakes won’t even make it to the west hills..." He stroked his chin. "Nah, I gotta jack him up, or else I’ll be wasting my mana on nothing."
Jimmy walked back to the control panel, and pressed AAEM to jack up its size by one time. Ideally he wanted to jack up the snake-clone three times, but if he did that, the snake would get so big that it would break its bones within the boundaries of the container. It wouldn’t fit in there.
To compensate for its utter lack of size that would otherwise protect it in the river, he settled with making the snake two times smarter, by pressing WLAS-I twice. He figured, and he hoped, really, that a smarter snake would be better at avoiding danger, or intercepting it across the river. Under the right circumstances, it might even be able to kill a crocodile.
The intelligence boost came with a cost. The snake was more costly to tame now, it required more mana, as it even was as smart as a caveman after the intelligence boost. This of course meant that he also had to be precise, just so he wouldn’t waste a good clone because of negligence.
Jimmy tapped into its brain, and started making some changes. He didn’t need the snakes to be as loyal, and as willing to dive into battle, as that would be a waste of mana. He just made it somewhat loyal, or docile towards the people, and creatures he cared to protect, and after that, he implemented his plan in its head.
Their tasks were to survive the dangers of the rivers, and travel down the river, towards the west hills.
The plan after this part was a bit more complicated. He put images of the grasslands in their heads, as to help it avoid killing people in his lands.
The people that the snakes should kill, without discrimination, were located past the far away edge of the grasslands, where the elevation slowly, but continuously dropped. The clone was smart, so it already understood what it was supposed to do. He could visibly see its brain processing, and understanding his orders.
"Last but not least..." He moved his fingers, adjusting the clone’s brain, "Avoid getting killed by humans too, as long as you can. Be strategic, kill them one or two at a time."
The idea was to keep the enemy busy for a little while. He wanted to buy himself more time, a few days, maybe, just in case the west hills were somehow able to build a bigger army than last time. He wanted to prepare a large dino army to intercept them.
"They wanted me dead..." He mumbled, "But they can’t keep sending big armies to the grasslands, can they? I doubt there are that many humans in the west hills. They would need to have thousands in order to excuse sacrificing three hundred of them just to kill me. It doesn’t make sense, damn it, because with those three-hundred people alone, they could’ve taken the grasslands ages ago, even when all of our hunters were alive."
JJ heard him rambling, and from the other side of the room, he spoke up, "The west hills think you have something important to protect. The appearance of giant humans makes them think the grasslands are magical, or anything of that equivalent."
"So the grasslands are the Holy Lands now?" He raised his head up in frustration, and let out a deep sigh, "And you’re Jurassic Jesus? That’s kinda funny, honestly. I started a religious war even though religion isn’t even a thing yet."
The topic was complex, and he was even hoping to strike some sort of deal with the neighboring tribes, because he didn’t want to cause a dent in the total human population in this world, but a peace treaty was a far-fetched goal right now. Cavemen weren’t diplomatic, so he had to scare them straight in order to keep the peace.
This was where the modified alien snakes would come in handy. Assuming they make it to the west hills, the snakes won’t only keep the enemy busy, but considering how alien the snake looked, he knew that the enemy was going to blame the grasslands for the deaths that these snakes would cause. It would take him one step closer towards scaring the enemies straight.
Jimmy freed the snake from the container, and watched it slowly slither out. It was a horrifying beauty, without a doubt!
The snake’s scales were thick, especially after it got a size-boost. The scales pointed upwards, making the alien look more and more like a dragon, or a Wyrm, specifically, since it didn’t have any legs.
Its scales were black like the night, which was what had caught his eye to begin with. Well, that, and the thick line of red hair that ran across its spine. He loved how badass this snake looked, it was like a beast of legends!
The physical boost did it good too. Not only was the snake a thick, girthy beast, but it was also over nine meters, or thirty feet long!
"Yeah," He nodded, "This’ll do. The fucker can go toe-to-toe with a croc, so to speak."
Jimmy then went ahead and led the snake to the tunnel past the automatic doors. He needed the space to make more clones, and besides, all of the clones were tolerant of one another anyway. They could share the lengthy space that the tunnel provided.
"It’s gonna take a while to have the snakes ’walk’ up the stairs," He sighed, "But after that, Rampage can give them a ride to the river."
