Boiling Beast Bloodline-Chapter 1347 - 379 Fallen Elves’ Power_4
Chapter 1347: Chapter 379 Fallen Elves’ Power_4
The two fallen elves were willing to form an alliance, and to do so without contradictions arising was the very last thing Liu wished to see. He had naively thought that these fallen elves would start fighting among themselves upon reaching the surface, but it seems that these two groups of fallen elves are far more conscious than Liu had imagined.
As they spoke, they arrived at a huge vine-covered structure.
"This is our council hall, honorable Lord Richard, please come inside for a talk!" You Yue’er, holding her dress, stepped up the stairs.
"You’re too kind." Liu chuckled and nodded, then turned back to wave his finger at the Giants, signaling them to go and preach in the treehouse bar.
The council hall of the elves was vast. Aside from some superficial decorations, there was only one giant oval table and a circle of exquisitely carved wooden chairs, with thick curtains hanging down on both sides, presumably covering compartments.
"Lord Richard, we, the Drow and Moore are looking to discuss a matter with you," said Prince Benitez, speaking up before even sitting down for tea.
"One does not visit the temple of the god of agriculture without a cause. Similarly, my visit here is to discuss certain matters with you," Liu replied, sinking into a chair and subtly letting a grim smile appear.
"Well, then let me start," said Prince Moore, smiling. "Now that Lusen City is secure, we, the Drow and Moore, are ready to mobilize our troops to sweep up all the elves and mountain Giants on the Donau Wasteland. Lord Richard, do you have any interest in sharing a piece of the pie? I would personally love to see the valiant Bimon Army assist us!"
"Well... I’m sorry... I’m not that interested," Liu shook his head.
"Then let me mention something you definitely will be interested in!" continued Prince Benitez, still smiling: "As the most powerful Bimon Overlord of the Northeast Province, and our strongest fallen elf ally, we, Moore and Drow, would be very keen on a matrimonial alliance with you!"
"Do we really need a political marriage to secure our alliance?" Liu burst into laughter. "Prince Benitez, don’t tell me you’re that naïve?" frёeωebɳovel.com
"Last time, when I unintentionally consumed ’Bloody Mary’ myself, it just so happened that your greedy little parrot snatched a little bit of it. It was an accident; I had no idea the little thing could move so fast," Prince Benitez spoke earnestly. "I apologize for my cowardice! In fact, I’ve always wanted to come clean to you, and as a token of my belated sincerity, the Blood Elves are willing to offer up our most beautiful princess to compensate for the oversight!"
Liu was dumbfounded for quite a while before he burst into laughter at the thick-skinned prince.
Indeed, if Bloody Mary had truly started to spread in Feilengcui, it would have taken effect over these two months and would not have delayed without any reaction. Now that both he and the little parrot were unharmed, Prince Moore, with his intelligence, would certainly have realized that the trap set for him was broken.
Yet, Liu had not anticipated that this fellow could so easily gloss over it, a testament to his remarkable mental fortitude.
"Lord Richard, we, the Drow, are also ready to offer you the most beautiful virgin to win your friendship," You Yue’er chimed in conveniently.
"How do you plan on dealing with the Demon Clan?" Liu asked straightforwardly without beating around the bush.
Prince Moore and the eight mothers looked at Liu in surprise, their expressions revealing their shock, given their usual degree of composure.
"The Demon Clan? They’re insignificant," Prince Benitez said dismissively after a pause, and the other mothers followed suit with shy smiles.
"I like that answer!" Liu smiled slyly: "One last question! When are you all planning to withdraw completely from the Underground World? Damn it! If you keep requisitioning like this, whom am I going to collect my provisions from?"
"The Underground World is a strategic buffer, you know that, and so do we!" Prince Benitez burst into laughter: "Lord Richard, you can’t possibly be thinking of consuming the entire three layers of the Underground World on your own? Surely, your appetite isn’t that big?"
"My appetite is bigger than you might think, my prince," Liu sneered. "I might just consume the Underground World myself! What’s the matter? Are you displeased?"
"Over the period, we have gained a preliminary understanding of the Aegean Continent, and currently, there seems to be no nation whose air force can match even a fraction of ours, the fallen elves," said Prince Benitez, eying the Feilengcui Lord. "After the ’Blood Moon Praise’ ritual, all our blood mages have advanced by one level! We, the Moore, also have a special Imperial Guard called the Spellbreakers! The Drow have their forest warriors who are specially trained from a young age. Such a military configuration is not bad, right?"
"We, the Drow, have also established a mutual defense pact with the Hell Black Dragon Clan. Compared to the two Dragon Cities, the Hell Black Dragons are certainly more trusting of us fallen elves!" You Yue’er mentioned casually: "’Mutual aid and vigilance’ is an ancient saying, but for our fellow beings from the Underground, it’s only once they reach the surface that they truly understand."
A surge of intense anger welled up in Liu’s heart, but his face remained perfectly masked.
The subtle implication in the remarks just made by the prince and the mother was clear—they were hinting at him—don’t forget about the twelve Black Dragons; cut out any greedy thoughts!
Twelve Giant Dragons could grant the fallen elves of Lusen friendship with any nation on the Aegean Continent, but certainly not with Liu!
"It would be the honor of our lives to gain a powerful ally," You Yue’er seductively threw a glance at Liu: "With your involvement, we will be even more assured! The Underground World is big enough; there’s enough to go around for all of us!"
"What if I refuse?" Liu inquired cheerfully.
Prince Benitez gently clapped his hands. The curtains on both sides of the council hall’s booths rolled open simultaneously, and a child and an old man appeared.

I’ve been harvesting rice at home these last two days, leaving me totally exhausted.
Tonight, I will resume updating at regular speed, trying to catch up, but I won’t make promises about when updates will happen.
