Bone Alchemist: Necromancer of The Aberrations-Chapter 78: New Enemy
Chapter 78: New Enemy
Prish was unleashing his aura without restraint, covering the world in darkness.
His body hurt all over, much of it had been severely damaged.
He would need treatment to recover.
Not even the recovery of a Stellar Rank could improve his condition.
"Damn bastard, I will make you regret coming all the way here—"
Prish’s voice was full of rage. He wanted nothing more than to tear the human apart.
He knew he had not fired the shot, yet the creature who had was his.
And, as with any respectable summoner, to destroy their summons you have to take out the master directly.
However, Jeremy could not leave the atmosphere. He would not be able to fight optimally in the vacuum, not yet.
He was at the edge of the atmosphere, waiting for the devil’s move.
Meanwhile, Prish had stopped unleashing his aura.
However, that short time had been enough to flip the world upside down. By now, the human continent was no longer recognizable.
On top of that, the daylight had vanished, replaced by a grim and terrifying darkness.
His concept had devoured the world.
Still, it was not over yet. The world could recover through ascension, becoming a mid-level world.
It was only a matter of time, now.
Throughout all this, Jeremy stared at Prish with a slight smile.
"Drae’mon, it is your turn. Show us what you’re really capable of. Do not hold back at all, use all your power."
The little skeleton, lying on Jeremy’s shoulder, shot up suddenly.
Meanwhile, Prish had approached the trio. He had not made a move yet, remaining on guard.
The shot he had taken earlier had been truly devastating. However, this time he was prepared.
Well, not that it would change anything.
"Osseoth Cathedral"
Jeremy’s iconic move had evolved, making his domain even larger and more powerful.
At first, the devil wanted to avoid it, but a shiver down his spine made him change his mind.
Four eyes were locked on him, ready to devour him whole.
It was SuperCannon.
Its intentions were clear. If he did not enter the domain, it would fire.
Again.
But this time, more gently. It did not want to accidentally destroy him, after all.
And so, Prish ’voluntarily’ entered Jeremy’s domain.

Meanwhile, in a certain parallel reality, Malrik was taking the beating of a lifetime.
Yvanna was ruthless, giving the devil no respite.
"So? Did not you say you would defeat me? Where did all your arrogance go, kid?"
The Empress’s voice sliced through Malrik’s ego like a hot knife through butter.
"You are just—"
A mouthful of blood spilled from his lips.
He could not even speak.
His body had recovered from the woman’s first blow, but fatigue was setting in.
After all, he was only at Rank S, with limited energy. He could not fight Yvanna on equal terms for long.
A sword strike ripped through his abdomen.
Then a giant hammer crashed down on his head.
Other attacks hit him everywhere, but the devil, despite everything, refused to die.
"What gave you the courage to face a Stellar Rank like me? The fact I would not be able to use all my power? You fool."
Yvanna spared neither words nor blows as she continued to destroy the devil, trying to subdue him.
"You are just a fool!"
Said the devil with great effort, before he started bleeding from every orifice in his head.
But despite his curses, Malrik could do nothing.
In this reality, Yvanna had no fear of using all her power against the devil.
After all, her Stellar Skill was precisely this.
Banish a target into a parallel reality.
---
[Stellar Skill: Reality Banishing]
Isolates the target in a parallel reality. The target can leave the reality by collapsing it or killing the banisher.
---
Of course, to isolate a target, it was not enough to just hit them with the ability. A powerful enough strike and a nearly unconscious target were needed.
Needless to say, Yvanna’s skillset included everything required.
And while the devil was there, isolated from everything, she could leave the reality at will.
Here, she could unleash herself.
Furthermore, the power of her Paradoxes was not limited in any way there.
But then, uncontrollable laughter filled the air.
Offering his blood again for more power, Malrik somehow managed to put some distance between him and Yvanna.
Then, offering more blood, he powered up the Eye of the Infernal Judge.
This time, the enhancement was not to improve the eye’s ability, but to completely alter its meaning.
"Hades, descend into this world and tear everything apart!"
Malrik’s voice rang out strong as he spoke those words.
But the truth was far from that. He was sacrificing himself.
Sacrificing himself for a sliver of hope to survive that hell.
He had not expected such oppressive power from a Stellar Rank of a lower world.
It had been his mistake to underestimate everyone.
He should not have done it, but it was difficult.
He, who had been hailed as a genius since unlocking his class.
He, who had been called ’the chosen one’ after reaching Rank S and obtaining his law.
But now, of all that glory and arrogance, only blood remained.
His scarred face said it all about the battle he was fighting.
However, he still had one move.
To sacrifice all his souls and bonds to the great Infernal Judge, Hades.
And so he did.
He had spent a long time obtaining power capable of rivaling the Stellar Rank, even while being just a Rank S.
And, to some extent, he had succeeded.
He was able to face many of the Stellar Ranks of the Ebonveil clan. Against some, he could win, against others, he held his ground.
He had never lost.
That’s where his arrogance came from.
But now, in this lower world, he was being crushed and suppressed by a human woman.
"I offer you my blood and all the souls tied to me!"
After saying this, an oppressive aura tore through the space of the parallel reality.
An absurd power erupted from the boy, rushing toward a specific point in space.
There, an interdimensional channel had formed.
A channel leading straight to the gates of Hell.
And while this sacrifice continued, Yvanna stood there, motionless, watching it all.
She wanted to attack in that moment, but could not get close to the devil.
It felt as if there was a barrier protecting him from any approach.
And hearing his words, Yvanna understood what was coming.
Before, a single glance had given her chills.
But now, that being would come here in person.
Sure, she did not believe its power could surpass an EX Rank, but she could not underestimate such a monster.
So, a simple idea formed in her head.
"I have to escape!"
However, the course of events does not always follow our thoughts.
And so, Yvanna found herself unable to escape that reality.
A parallel reality meant to serve as a prison for others was now trapping her too.
"Shit, shit, shit!"
A considerable number of curses escaped her mouth, her facial expression a mix of worry, anger, and disappointment.
However, Malrik’s sacrificial process did not end right away.
Time passed, and the energy the devil was pouring into the channel was decreasing more and more.
During all this time, Yvanna had tried everything.
Using ranged attacks on Malrik, trying to collapse the reality, using her power on herself to be banished elsewhere— but nothing seemed to work.
The interdimensional channel was rewriting the rules of this entire parallel reality, making escape impossible.
And just when the energy channeled by Malrik reached zero, a terrifying pressure blanketed everything.
All the Yvannas present in the parallel reality were destroyed.
The only one left alive was the original, but even she was suffering.
Her breathing was short and erratic, her knees touching the ground.
Fortunately, that absurd pressure lasted only 1 second before vanishing like smoke.
Looking ahead, Yvanna finally saw him.
What had been Malrik was nowhere to be seen.
In his place, a completely new being had appeared.
Long golden hair, an angelic face, eyes green as hope.
His form appeared more human than ever, his shining white robe with green decorations illuminated the surroundings.
He appeared like a saint.
However, there was only one small detail that would prevent anyone from calling him holy.
His aura.
An evil aura, of a tainted green color, emanated from every pore of his being.
It was revolting.
Yvanna barely managed to hold back the urge to vomit.
"Ah, it is a pleasure to be here, even if just for a bit." With a soft and deep breath, the figure spoke.
"I imagine you are the creature who gave one of my puppets a hard time, am I right?"
The figure kept speaking, approaching Yvanna.
"Oh, but allow me to introduce myself—" a smile painted his face, making his saintly appearance far more sinister. "I am Hades, ruler of Hell."
