Chapter 916 Chapter 916 Majestic Cloud Palace 𝙗𝒆𝒅𝒏𝙤𝒗𝒆𝙡.𝙤𝒓𝙜

"Might i ask who this man is, young miss?" Cui Bo asked the moment he realized that the group of 2 has now been added another number in their return.

He particularly looked at our very own protagonist with obvious doubt in his eyes. The missing left arm and the bloodied white cultivators robe took much of his attention.

"DING!" And the man received a not so gentle love tap on his head for that.

"Avert your eyes at once, Cui Bo! This is Master Clark. He saved my life. You should show adequate respect towards him." Shen Rong admonished in a serious tone.

"Please forgive me, Master Clark! It will never happen again!" Cui Bo bowed low and his voice shivered slightly.

More than his fear of offending this mysterious man, he quite dreaded more about the thought of losing the favor of his young miss Shen Rong.

"It's a small matter. So there is nothing to forgive really." Clark replied with a smile.

"I thank you for your great kindness, Master Clark. Rest assured that i shall discipline my people more in the days to come."

Shen Rong promised and this in turn has given a slight shiver unto the bowed body of Cui Bo.

He was already thinking far ahead on how he would mend this mistake sooner rather than later. At least he tried but failed to come up with any solution in the end.

"..." Our bored gamer merely nodded in reply. It did not need telling that he was far more interested in reaching the Majestic Cloud Palace than anything else today.

And that was exactly what he got in the next few hours. The group of many rode fast horse this time around until they arrived in a discreet place.

Next, a flying boat appeared which had become their ride in the following days.

Majestic Cloud Palace. This influence was nothing to speak of in the Silver Throne Continent.

Nevertheless, they had their roots in Hundred Springs Province for more than 1,000 years which had made this particular family into a raging dragon in this small pond.

They may not be much in the grand scheme of things but to the immediate people around them, they could be considered a huge hegemon in this province.

"Hmmm... The founder of this place really knew how to name things properly." Clark mused out loud.

His eyes was already measuring the big mansion that seemed to float amongst the weightless clouds in the sky.

Any mortal would have tagged this as magic but our good gamer was much to learned to be fooled.

A neat formation would have likely been the cause of such an amazing feat and the resources that fueled its constant upkeep was certainly not little.

"My great great grandfather was a wise honest man, Master Clark. If he were alive today, I'm sure that he would have been glad to hear those words from you."

Shen Rong complimented without fail. It did not need telling that she was already building her relationship closer towards this young powerful man.

The flying boat landed in the colossal mansion in time and that was where the group separated ways temporarily.

"I'm going to see my father first, Master Clark. Shao Jiang will introduce you around and lead you towards your residence in the palace.

Please forgive our humble home and its poor amenities." Shen Rong said.

"It's a nice place, Miss Shen. I have a feeling that i will enjoy my stay here." Clark responded and the group then went on their ways.

"I want to have an audience with my father, Elder Yuan. I bring important news that I'm confident he won't want to miss." Shen Rong arrived in the most guarded place in the palace.

There was an old man before a massive gate and at first glance, he seemed to be sleeping while sitting in a lotus position.

This place was of course none other than the dwelling of the current master of Majestic Cloud Palace.

"Good day, Shen Rong. Your father is in a closed door cultivation. He shall only come out a day before his natal day." Elder Yuan replied without opening his eyes or moving his lips.

It seemed that he has not spoken at all and yet his words was clearly perceived by the beautiful Shen Rong.

"Okay then. If we lost the chance to grab unto this expert who can possibly rival father in strength or perhaps even exceed him then this fault shall solely lie on your shoulders, Elder Yuan.

Father would get angry should the other families in Hundred Springs Province would invite Master Clark into their own house." Shen Rong sighed and was about to leave.

"DING!" The old man finally opened his eyes and there was a blinding flash of light that came out from the dual windows of his soul.

It illuminated not only this dwelling but the entire Majestic Cloud Palace in full.

"What is that?!"

"Such a cold nasty feeling!"

"I think this spiritual sense belongs to Elder Yuan!"

The higher ups in the palace immediately determined the rush of piercing energy that appeared to cover everyone and everything that was happening in this place at once.

It did not take long for this old man to find a new face amongst many.

"Is it you?" Elder Yuan murmured beneath his breath. He could see a white robed young man that was missing his left arm in the distance.

"A mosquito comes?" Clark said when he could feel that something was trying to read into his thoughts. This alien feeling tried to uncover his secrets and everything else beneath his skin.

Such intrusion would of course not be rewarded kindly. Unfortunately, our bored gamer did not want to lose any more limbs in the process. He could only find a compromise in the situation.

"DING!" Several runic symbols crawled out from his right hand and unto the rest of his remaining arm. The air collapsed as a deafening thunderclap seemed to appear in all directions.

"HAK!" In the end, one old man coughed out copious life blood in consequence.
