Building An Empire Starting From The Labor Camp In Exile-Chapter 329: Fight
Eirikr might have been caught by surprise, but he reacted just as quickly. He leaped to his feet and then flung himself at her, sand coiled around his limbs as he reached her and returned the punch that she gave him.
But it was like trying to punch a mountain. "Just what are you made of?"
Helena grinned. "My mark Order gave me strength. I cultivate the strength essence!"
Then her two hands came together in a punch on the head that smashed his head into the floor, cracking it around him. "You can’t match me in a contest of strength!"
Eirikr groaned, but he jumped out of the way as her legs came down. "I’m impressed. Is there a way I can keep you guys as pets? You are strong and will be good as house guards after I take over the house."
By this time, the Master Knights of the Akatsuki had arrived, and they hung around the intruders in a circle.
There were seven of them, and then with Eirikr, that’s a total of eight.
As opposed to the six Master Knights of the Soryu Clan.
Eirikr dusted himself. "Now that we are all here, let’s give death to the Soryu Clan. Kill them all, but try to preserve the head of that Clan leader. It will make a nice display... huh? What’s wrong with my pet?"
The real power of Eirikr was actually the beast tamer, but his essence had been twisted by the throne. Hence, he’s now only using the power of sands. But he still kept a beast by his side.
That beast was the drake that’s always following him, but at that moment, the connection between him and the beast was muddled, unclear.
His head turned in that direction, and he saw someone crouched beside the beast, whispering to its ears.
It was Tiber, and black smoke came out of his mouth, curling around the drake’s head, and the monster purred with satisfaction as if it was having the most wonderful dream.
Eirikr grew so angry that his head seemed to swell. "Kill them!"
But a shield of red light snapped into place around the Soryu Clan fighters. Eryndor stood with his hand outstretched, red tattoos glowing and flickering. "I will keep them in position for a while. Get ready!"
"You greedy bastard of the Soryu Clan!" one of the Akatsuki shouted as he brought his hand down on the shield. Lightning burst forth with such force that the shield looked as if it would snap at any moment.
Eryndor gritted his teeth. "It won’t be long now!"
Atrox nodded, but he didn’t say anything. There was nothing to say, as everyone knew what they should be doing.
Tiber, who was crouched beside the drake, stood up and faced Atrox. "The beast is all mine. It’s weaker than me, so it’s easier to bend its mind to mine through the dreams. I can use it to fight."
Atrox bent down and brought out a long metal chest from his spatial ring. The chest was covered in different words of power, so much so that there seemed to be no single place that wasn’t covered.
Even with a single touch, all the essence that was around Atrox was drained inside. He opened the chest and removed its content. It was a sword that was dripping with red fire.
The sword was filled with so much essence that immediately everyone inside the shield felt an intense wave of overpowering heat, and they began to sweat even though they were Master Knights.
The sword and the chest were specially crafted with his binding powers, made to hold the essence of his fire. It was as if he was holding lava.
"I am ready," Atrox said with a grimace. His face was covered in sweat as well.
Eryndor’s back burst with red light. One of his tattoos grew out into wings with long limbs of spikes under it. "Now!"
Immediately, Tiber pointed at one of the Master Knights, a bulky man who was wearing a mask. "That’s the weakest!"
The two of them turned towards the man and then leaped at the same time. The black drake didn’t open its eyes, but it flew with them, catching them on its back as they swooped towards the man that Tiber pointed out.
"I’ll get him down!" Tiber shouted.
The drake opened its mouth towards where the man was hanging in the air and spewed out a mouthful of green fire. The man dodged to the side with ease... just in time to get smacked in the face by the drake’s tail, slapping him out of the air.
They flew towards him quickly and reached the ground as the man picked himself up. His mask was pure black, and as he turned towards them, it changed into a green mask. "You guys are really asking for it, aren’t you? Very well. I will beat that disrespect out of you. No, I will kill it from you."
"Are you ready, Tiber?" Atrox said.
He patted the head of the drake and then touched his sword. "I am."
Atrox smiled. "Let’s see how strong this weapon of mine is and how weak you are, mask man."
He raised the sword and brought it down.
There was a flash of light and intense heat, and a line of scorching red fire leaped into the sky so high that it was as tall as his tower, and it sliced a large gash into the ground, completely destroying the place where the mask man was standing.
Atrox laughed. "This is far better than expected! Three days of starving myself of essence, and the result isn’t bad. I think of all my powers, the binding one is actually the strongest. I wonder just how much I can do with it?"
"Maybe you should talk after we’re done here, eh, Clan leader!" Tiber said.
Atrox wasn’t surprised that the enemy wasn’t hit because he felt him disappear immediately. Not dodge—he disappeared. Teleportation.
And he teleported back above them.
"You bastards dare to toy with me, a Master Knight! I do admire your bravery!"
