By Seeing Beasts' Training Paths, My Beast Became Invincible-Chapter 35: He died
The thousands of teeth began to act like a saw, hacking and grinding Jeff’s body, sending a painful yell ringing out everywhere.
Rocky’s evil, merciless actions made everyone freeze in shock.
Ross screamed in rage.
"Brother!"
Simson in the stands scowled and instantly leaped up, delivering a punch into midair. In just a blink of an eye, the space itself broke apart, spreading over Rocky at lightning-fast speed.
The terrifying pressure released from the rift in space blanketed Rocky.
At that moment, a heavy pressure instantly fell upon his body, like he was in the deepest sea, suffering the crushing force of the ocean floor.
1,000 atm.
Rocky spat Jeff out, who was nothing but a broken body.
At that moment, no one knew whether Jeff was dead or not. His body was covered in countless shallow cuts, bleeding with the scent of iron.
Each muscle fiber was exposed after being torn open by the sharp teeth. His guts spilled out through the opened abdomen.
Thanks to the [Basic Regeneration] skill, Jeff was capable of enduring the torture inside the monstrous cat’s maw... but at that moment, he didn’t know whether that skill was truly helping him or only increasing his pain.
"F*CK YOU!" Jeff roared through his mangled mouth. His deformed face turned toward his father.
"Father! You must kill that cat!"
Scarlet screamed in warning.
"RUN!"
Rocky’s expression darkened. His hand transformed into a gigantic one covered in an obsidian gauntlet.
He quickly landed his fist toward Jeff, who was crawling pathetically away from him.
Simson clenched his teeth in fury at Rocky’s cruel actions.
"Damn cat!"
He punched into midair again, sending a huge pressure crashing down on Rocky.
Rocky felt his body nearly being crushed into pieces, but he didn’t stop, even as his armor began to crack under the overwhelming pressure.
Bang!
"AAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHH!"
A sobbing scream echoed everywhere.
With tearful eyes, Jeff glanced down... then froze in horror.
Rocky’s gigantic fist had already crushed his lower body into a mangled mess.
Blood overflowed, spilling everywhere. Even though his body was regenerating nonstop, the pain was unbearable—far too much for him.
What unlucky for Rocky, he had missed.
(It looks painful~)
Rocky smirked before shrinking into another form.
He became a beast resembling a black panther and immediately started running.
"You think you can flee after doing that to my son?"
Simson’s Behemoth appeared from the void.
The beast’s muscular hand struck the air, sending countless rifts in space toward Rocky.
If that blow hit him, he would die for sure.
But what caught his attention at that moment wasn’t the attack—it was Behemoth’s hands.
(T-Those hands... they belong to my father’s beast.)
Now he understood why Simson could use the [Space Tremor] skill.
A unique ability his father’s beast had learned after miraculously finding a holy plant in a dungeon.
Back then, his beast had become nearly invincible—just like him in the entire world.
But he had believed his father’s beast died fighting a Pride Demon King... He never imagined Simson’s beast could possess those hands, even graft them onto itself to use the [Space Tremor] skill.
(A bunch of scumbags.)
Scarlet swiftly rushed to Rocky and stood in front of him. Her intention was clear. She wanted to protect him from that blow... yet her beast had only just reached level 10x. She was completely powerless before the leader of the Stephens Clan.
Only one person could deflect that attack for them.
Her grandfather.
"Grandfather! Do you want me to die?!"
Austin roared in anger.
"Brat! After this mess, you must leave the academy."
Out of nowhere, a gigantic black dragon appeared in the sky. Its wingspan covered the entire arena.
Its roar echoed for a hundred kilometers, leaving everyone in the stands nearly deaf.
It lunged down and landed before Scarlet, releasing immense flames to block Behemoth’s blow.
They nearly dropped their jaws when witnessing two ancient beasts appear at once.
"No one can stop me! That damned cat must die!"
Simson’s beast delivered another punch at Rocky.
Again, countless rifts in space spread toward him at ridiculous speed.
Scarlet tried to save Rocky once more, but Austin’s black dragon swiftly swung its tail to block her path, releasing an aura that locked her in place.
"Don’t cause any more trouble! You already saved that trash once!" Austin yelled in fury.
Scarlet’s expression twisted with rage. Her eyes turned bloodshot as she watched the rifts approach Rocky at lightning speed.
She glared at her grandfather.
"If he dies, the Kirk Clan will burn to ashes in the future by my own hands."
Rocky’s thighs quickly enlarged as he increased the volume of his muscle fibers. He leaned forward and dashed at full speed, but it was nowhere near as fast as the rifts.
(It’s not a big deal.)
His goal was the arena gate.
(Damn it! Move faster, my legs!)
When the gap between him and the gate was only one meter, the rifts reached him.
The pressure from the rifts instantly locked onto him and crushed him into a puddle of blood.
He died.
...
The audience in the stands fell silent for a while before whispers spread. Most of them felt strangely empty.
They didn’t know... maybe deep down, they had believed that cat would escape.
"It’s fascinating... an unbelievable cat," a noble sighed in regret.
"Yeah, maybe next time I’ll go to the black zone... there might be some good beasts there."
Scarlet’s face went completely blank. She knelt to the ground as tears rolled down her cheeks before she even realized it.
She had failed to save him.
She wondered why his family’s fate was always so tragic. Why did all of them have to suffer that pain after saving the world?
"I’m too weak. If I were stronger, he wouldn’t have died," she groaned between sobs.
"What a stupid thought... waiting for someone else’s support. I should’ve done it myself."
Austin quickly approached Scarlet. He grabbed her arm and said,
"Go home. You’re grounded for a month."
But suddenly, he felt a chill run down his spine when Scarlet glanced at him coldly.
"Don’t touch me."
He froze for a moment and instinctively let her go. He watched her helplessly as Scarlet slowly walked away.
He clenched his jaw.
"Damn it, that bastard has already corrupted her. She needs to leave the academy."
