By Seeing Beasts' Training Paths, My Beast Became Invincible-Chapter 63: The culprit
Rocky scowled as he witnessed this bizarre scene. He and everybody had absolutely no idea about such a thing.
The first suspicious person had died, and now he didn’t know what would happen next.
(If Leon isn’t that elf, then who?)
However, the trouble didn’t stop. Hissing sounds resounded and spread through the brushes in the forest.
He could hear a series of footsteps stirring the ground, making the earth tremble beneath everybody’s feet.
The hordes of monsters were coming.
"Fuck! We need to escape this place," an elf groaned with a distorted face.
A human nearby responded mockingly.
"You’re giving up?"
The dwarf spoke with a serious face.
"Stop it!.. That’s enough arguing. We have no way to run now since we’ve already come this far. So we must give it our best shot."
The human with a firm face nodded in powerlessness.
"Yeah... we do. I feel like if we give up now... we won’t get another chance. And with that fucking game, we can’t stay alive till the very end without beasts."
After comforting each other, they stood up again and prepared for the next wave of monsters.
Soon, their expressions shifted from powerlessness to something even worse—deep despair—as they watched the monsters emerging from the thick, sticky brushes.
A lot of them.
They couldn’t even count their number.
"It’s done." The human knelt to the ground with a pale face.
Some elves sighed helplessly and plopped down, as if they had already accepted this death sentence.
A few dwarfs felt the same. But they quickly scowled when they spotted their beasts among the hordes of monsters.
One dwarf suddenly boomed in excitement when he saw his beast.
"My beast!"
Before the dwarf could move, Rocky had already raised his longsword close to the dwarf’s throat. The dwarf gulped in fear while glancing at Rocky.
Rocky spoke coldly.
"Don’t go... That’s not your beast anymore."
Indeed, he didn’t want to waste time saving that stupid dwarf, but he also didn’t want anyone else to die.
There were still too many dangerous things deep in the forest that Rocky couldn’t handle alone.
"He’s right. Don’t get close to that beast. I smell a bizarre aura from them." A blonde elf nodded while staring at the beasts warily.
The dwarf’s face twisted with discomfort and helplessness.
"So what do I do? I can’t kill my beast."
Rocky smirked while lowering his longsword. His jet-black armor materialized over his body as he took a fighting stance.
"Do what you guys always do. I’ll handle them."
The dwarf and the elf frowned as they looked at Rocky with suspicion. Even though they had already seen how strong Rocky was... with that many monsters, could he really do it again?
But did they even have another choice now?
They sighed and quickly formed a formation.
Without hesitation, Rocky activated his [Aura of Tyrant Overlord] skill.
Just half a second later, a wave of aura burst out from him, spreading across the area. The beasts with ranks lower than Apex were affected immediately.
They shivered for a moment before turning their cold eyes toward the monsters. Then they roared wildly and charged in, slaughtering them mercilessly.
Surprised by the sudden turn, the monsters froze for a brief second—
—and then lunged forward to attack the beasts.
Rocky’s fellows just froze for seconds, totally not getting this situation at all. Rocky swiftly yelled, though.
’’What are you doing? Attack them.’’
A human snapped out of the stupid state and screamed in excitement.
’’Attack!’’
...
’’Right, go ahead.’’

(I don’t know what that mysterious being thinks, but sending beasts here is a bad idea. After all, my skill affects beasts very well.)
Rocky smiled as he performed a series of complicated and skillful blows, finishing each monster off.

At some point, the monsters had nothing much left. They really could win against those things after getting through many troubles they thought would never be passed.
Really crazy, even Rocky thought so, too.
But there was still one thing that clung at his mind.
He stood in the center of the blood-soaked forest while his group was chasing after the monsters.
For some reason, he let himself take a rest. He slowly let his guard down for such a moment. And in just half a second, a chill ran over his spine while, from nowhere, a dead light sparked in midair.
He swiftly took a glance behind.
(Finally, I see you, bastard.)
An elf with a psychotic, perverted face, with a vicious tongue hanging from his mouth. With ridiculous speed, he delivered his sharp knife at Rocky’s back.
Rocky couldn’t dodge that blow in that short time. After all, he had already let his guard down for the moment.
Would he die?
No...
He did it on purpose.
The moment the knife was just 10 centimeters away from him, a jet-black arrow flew lightning-fast toward the elf.
However, for some reason, the elf had perceived that arrow in time and dodged that blow. Of course, he had lost the best shot to finish Rocky off.
Rocky narrowed his brows as he gazed at the culprit who had nearly killed him.
The elf had a slender body, wearing an elven combat outfit made of leather. His expression had already turned from perverted and psychotic to gentle. He slowly lifted his slender hand to cover his chuckle.
The next second, he slowly opened his vicious, sly eyes at Rocky—and Bobby, who was holding the longbow behind.
He asked. His voice was full of amusement and curiosity.
’’You baited me into attacking?’’
