CASSANDRA: The Unfavored Princess-Chapter 163: Die
Princess Cassandra opened her eyes. She tilted her head just to realize that the lady was walking slowly towards them.
Princess Cassandra found her body loosen up as she gazed forward. Her eyes were at the witch who was smiling beautifully.
Princess Cassandra tried to get up but her body was still not powerful enough. She did not have a lot of power in her body but soon the voices in her head said. [Give her some time.]
Princess Cassandra was able to identify some of the voices. She could identify the wind, water, and fire element in it but there were two additional voices. Princess Cassandra was sure that might be the earth and the darkness.
Princess Cassandra simply nodded her head but it was Amy’s hand that brought her back into reality.
Amy looked at the fifth Princess as she said in a whisper, "Princess, you have woken up."
As soon as Amy spoke the words, Duke Salvador looked down. Princess Cassandra had truly been awake. He smiled as he moved down, taking her into his arm. He hugged her tightly but the moment attracted more attention to them.
The witch smiled before she laughed sarcastically. "So the history does repeat itself?" Princess Elvira’s tone was sharp. The air around her was dripping low. "I thought you would die once I woke up. Is it because the elements have taught you how to control your unstable energy?" Princess Elvira asked as she raised her eyebrows.
Princess Elvira was smiling but her face was emotionless. Princess Cassandra looked at her with a dull expression.
Princess Elvira continued, "And you even managed to find your soulmate now.". Princess Elvira sneered as she shook her head.
"I hope you are aware that for killing me you have to lose the one thing that you love the most." Princess Elvira giggled
No one understood the meaning of her words as the witch smiled before she moved up in the sky. "But I will not repeat the mistakes I did in my past. This time I will make sure that I kill you first."
Princess Cassandra still has not recovered from the loss of power when Elvira’s energy started excluding her body. As she was a witch, her powers were cultivated by extracting them from the surroundings.
Princess Elvira looked at them as her eyes burned with rage. Although she was aware that many centuries had passed, he still looked the same and her sister, Princess Maxima, was a striking image of the lady in his arms.
Princess Elvira was jealous that even after so many years they both were able to find each other. That was not something that she was looking forward to.
Princess Elvira’s eyes sharpened as her hands moved. An aura excluded her body as it started moving towards Cassandra.
Princess Cassandra’s body excluded a light as it formed a protective layer around her. The dark aura could not reach her as it bounced back and got scattered.
Because the witch’s power was not reaching its target, Princess Elvira had to face the consequences. After all, she had signed the deal with the devil, her power was very destructive and deadly. But if the power failed to reach the target, Elvira had to face repercussions.
Because Princess Cassandra was saved, Princess Elvira’s body started deteriorating from within. She looked around confused as she wondered if it was still the same.
[This will not work.]
[I have to kill her.]
[I need to kill her.]
Princess Cassandra could hear the witch’s thoughts clearly as her body straightened. Before she knew it the aura surrounded her as it attacked from all the sides.
Princess Cassandra closed her eyes hoping that nothing might happen to her but the fear of being attacked did not become reality. Soon Princess Cassandra felt like a beam of light emerged from her body as five tigers came out.
Five tigers for five elements stood in front of everyone. They stood in a line forming a protective layer against the fifth Princess.
Everyone was frightened, especially Amy who was still sitting on the ground. She could not understand how this was happening. She has seen Princess Cassandra summoning the elements before but they were small cats and not something that’s huge. Definitely not tigers.
Lord Bentham’s eyes widened as he was shocked. "Is this the power of origin?"
As soon as Lord Bentham’s voice reached, everyone’s breath sharpened.
Princess Valeria, who was on the ground, tried to minimize her existence. She swallowed hard. Although the history was different at both the Elvira Empire and the Vivere Kingdom but they had one thing in common.
The power that created everything and the representative of them were the almighty tigers, the kings of the elements. But it was a mythological story or at least that was what they thought it was. The story has been there for centuries but they never thought that something like this might be real.
The Grand Duke refused to accept it. He walked towards his son as he held his arms. "This is impossible. How can she have the power of origin? Even Princess Maxima didn’t have it."
Lord Bentham smiled innocently as he removed his arms from his father’s hands. "Or maybe she had it but no one else was able to identify it, not even her."
Everyone wanted to deny the possibility that Princess Cassandra did have the power of origin because if she was killed everything would be over.
But for now, the Vivere Kingdom people have already signed a deal with the witch. And when Princess Elvira looked at them, Prince Carl and Princess Teimei swallowed. They could see the death lingering in Princess Elvira’s eyes.
And after seeing what the witch had done to the secretary it was getting difficult to understand and predict their future. They both turned towards their uncle, the Grand Duke but the man did not want them to back down. His eyes were only filled with the image of his dead wife’s face. All he knew was that because of Princess Cassandra his wife ran away, his wife died and he wanted her to have the same death even though it resulted in everything getting destroyed.
The Grand Duke looked at Prince Carl and Princess Teimei as he said. "The deal has long been made, and now that Princess Elvira has woken up, we cannot delay."
The royal siblings turned their heads towards the witch who was still in the sky looking at them as if they were prey.
"For the people of the Vivere Kingdom, we offer you our powers." The royal siblings said together.
Princess Elvira’s eyes were emotionless as she said, "Even after so many centuries, the darkness did not forget to fulfill its promise, so I will not forget to fulfill mine. I will make you absorb everything into darkness."
Princess Elvira smiled as she turned around and looked at a princess who was on the ground. She should feel the trouble in her eyes. The greed was overflowing. 𝒇𝓻𝓮𝓮𝙬𝙚𝒃𝒏𝓸𝙫𝒆𝙡.𝓬𝓸𝒎
Princess Elvira continued as she looked at the Princess. "If you give me your power then I might help you."
Princess Valeria could not help but think twice; she knew that she had to make a decision first.
Prince Cedric understood the situation that if Valeria decided to trade her power, the witch would become more powerful and if the witch becomes powerful they are all in danger.
Prince Cedric felt like it was time for him to decide as well. Did he want his sister or the people? If Princess Valeria made a decision then his people, his empire, his friends, and the remainder of his family would all be in danger. He remembered what the Emperor had told him,
Even if one dies during the trip, the more suitable one should be the next emperor. And according to his father, Princess Valeria was not suitable. It was then that Prince Cedric made up his mind. Maybe it was time to have a fight, maybe it was time that only one of them remained.
As Prince Cedric looked at his sister, he could feel that she had no human emotions remaining in her. It was only greed and selfishness. Even when she heard about their mother’s death, his sister did not show any remorse.
As Prince Cedric adjusted his powers, he was still on the ground and he was still hurt but at this moment he knew that he was more powerful than Princess Valeria. Prince Cedric knew that his sister was at her lowest and yet he decided to act against her.
Prince Cedric moved his fingers and soon the air around Princess Valeria started decreasing. Slowly and gradually Princess Valeria’s breathing reduced.
Maybe it was happening so slow that no one noticed it, not even the Princess herself but the witch was not a fool.
Princess Elvira needed the element’s power. She needed the lady on the ground. And when you need something, how can you let it die so easily?
