The crowd had gone silent the moment Dante’s score hit 6,900...

Clearly, he’d cleared all the floors above floor 60, yet the crowd could not bring themselves to rejoice, because till now, they had yet to catch a glimpse of the man himself...

But that all changed the moment Dante appeared on the 70th floor...

"What..what are those...."

Someone muttered fearfully, a chill crawling up his spine..

"What... is this feeling??" Another person muttered, curling up and tryin to find warmth..

A terrible chilly sensation overcame the entire audience the moment their eyes landed on the two ruinous knights...

The massive 10ft tall death metal and the demonic horse rider, their figures cut such an imposing stance that most forgot to breathe..

And the moment they spoke...

"Ahh.. this must be the little one that has the tower agitated"...

The crowd doubled over, some weaker ones had their eyes roll over as they suddenly collapsed, their life or death unknown...

"Protect the people" Valen’s authoritative voice sounded out, snapping the supervisors out of the earlier fear induced shock...

They quickly released their aura, surrounding the entire city scape, preventing the effects of whatever was happening..

"My lord..." a supervisor tried to ask..

"It’s as you’ve guessed. That’s death essence, and an extremely pure one at that" his face went grim after saying that...

He himself couldn’t recognize what the tower just spawned, but the feeling of the essence he was getting, something so powerful it was affecting people merely viewing from a screen, told him all he need to know about how powerful what Dante currently stood before was...

"Impossible..." Raven’s voice came out weak and disbelieving..

"It really was what we feared" Clarissa’s grim voice sounded out..

"Dante...." At this point, raven wasn’t listening..

Her entire focus was on the young man currently facing what could very well be his last fight...

All over the cities affiliated with or under Helios city, people watched with anxiety as the white haired wonder they’d all come to love, faced something unexplainable yet very obviously wrong..

If the tower had been trying to pull something, then this must be its final play..

The crowd watched as the Knight and rider seemed to be engaged in some sort of conversation, their words unable to be captured..

When their attention finally turned towards Dante, a collective dread bubbled up in the hearts of those watching...

They watched silently as Dante seemed to have a short conversation with the knight..

The moment the knight planted his sword into the ground and beckoned Dante to come, they breathed a collective sigh of relief...

"Haha.. stupid hunk of metal, if Dante lands one of those devastating punches, wouldn’t this be as good as done?" A young boy watching from his home couldn’t help sneering...

Outside the solarium spire...

"Hooo....thank goodness that knight seems very dumb.."

"Yea.. to underestimate Dante like that, he must be very eager to perish.."

"Heh.. stupid tower never learns.."

The audience breathed out slowly as they regained their voices, their confidence in the one-punch maestro, unshaken..

Nothing had been able to survive a single punch till this moment, they refused to believe the knight would be different...

And so, with rapt attention and anticipation, they refocused their gaze on the screen, just in time for Dante to activate his abilities...

"Huh? Why isn’t anything happening?" A curious onlooker asked...

"Yea, the entire floor should be quaking by now, after all he’s using the same technique he used to smoke that giant earlier" his friend replied...

"Maybe he’s condensing it so much that it’s not affecting the surroundings?" Another voice reasoned...

That seemed to be something the crowd agreed on as they shrugged and refocused on the screen, waiting for the inevitable to happen...

Yet the moment Dante struck...

THUD!!!

The dull thud that sounded after the knight caught the punch with a single hand resounded like thunder within their ears...

"He..he caught it..."

The people froze..

From those watching on-site, to those watching from their homes..

This was the first time anything had survived a punch, let alone capturing Dante’s fist with what looked like an infuriating amount of ease..

Yet, it wasn’t until the knight looking monster struck back that they truly realized just how dire the situation their white haired wonder was in..

Craaaaackkkkkk!!!!!

They couldn’t even register the attack, only the aftermath as they could see Dante being launched backwards like a loose canon...

"Fast!!" Valen gasped in shock..

He had been able to follow the punch’s trajectory but that was only because of his high level of strength...

Nothing that should be appearing the 70th floor should be able to move like that..

"This is bad... this is very bad...". The grim look on his face painted the entire story of how hopeless he was feeling currently...

The crowd seemed relieved as Dante regained his footing, the confident and cocky expression they’d come to identify him with being gone like the wind..

His expression told them all they needed to know about how fucked he was....

Yet instead of the high octane battle they expected, the scene shifted as Dante seemed to have heard something shocking from the knight, his expression morphing into absolute shock...

"Just what the hell are they discussing.."

"And why can’t we hear it??"..

The crowd was irate..

Whatever they seemed to be telling Dante looked very important yet the display was unable to capture the sounds, when it could capture the sounds of every other thing perfectly...

Luckily their shock didn’t last too long as Dante seemed to have gotten serious about the whole scenario..

They watched with bated breaths as he pulled out an ability he hadn’t used before...

"Solar Empowerment"

His voice resonated throughout the square, the contents shocking to those who knew what he just said..

"That ability....." a helios city native muttered..

"Wait.. how can he use that ability, isn’t that something only those with the Calder bloodline could use?" Another expert native to the supreme city asked in bewilderment...

"Maybe it’s another ability entirely, after all, multiple abilities might share the same names..." another man tried to convince them...
