Ruby Sullivan went straight to Ethan Sterling’s room after arriving at the hotel, and it looked like he was still sleeping.

She went in, sat on the sofa, and teased, "Is the boss of The Sterling Group so free? You’ve had time to wander around Gallia with me for so many days."

Ethan Sterling was sprawled on the bed, looking exhausted, "You’ll understand when Nirvana becomes as big as The Sterling Group." Right now, he just hoped that when he returned, Aidan Sinclair wouldn’t kill him.

Thinking about it, he was somewhat looking forward to Vivian and his uncle getting married soon.

"I’m going to a private party tonight, mostly attended by people from the fragrance industry along with some celebrities and fashion buyers. I’m still missing a plus-one. Are you interested?" Ruby Sullivan thought that instead of letting him sit idly in the hall and worry, it would be better to bring him along.

She used to be overly cautious, but after dining with T, she seemed influenced by his candor and felt that her worries were trivial. What’s the worst that could happen? What if she was slept with just to save her man? It was a mutual transaction. In fact, L should be the one ashamed, because he secretly filmed her without her knowledge, which wasn’t part of their deal. The one sneaking around should feel ashamed.

Ruby Sullivan pursed her lips, "Are you going or not?"

"I’m also attending a friend’s party tonight, and I’m missing a plus-one. Would you like to be my date?" He said this while reaching over to the bedside table, grabbing the invitation, and tossing it to her, "Apparently, Alex will be there. Would you like to reconsider?"

Ruby Sullivan glanced at the invitation on the sofa, her temples throbbing. This man was playing with her!

She got up, storming out in anger, and heard him shout as she reached the door, "Are you coming or not?" She wanted to go back and give him a good kick!

On the way there, Ruby Sullivan discovered that today’s host, Kris, was Ethan Sterling’s friend. Moreover, if Kris hadn’t received Ethan Sterling’s financial help during his startup phase, he wouldn’t have achieved today’s success. So, upon hearing Ethan was coming, Kris immediately prepared an invitation for him and personally delivered it to the hotel at noon, even having lunch together with Ethan.

As for how Ethan knew Ruby Sullivan would attend, it was purely through deduction.

When he learned she was coming to Caelus, he guessed she was here for Alex and directly called Alex.

Of course, Alex would be curious about the call because all the reports clearly indicated one thing: this couple not only divorced but already had a falling out. Ethan Sterling checked the time and knocked on her door. The moment he saw her, he was stunned.

Today, Ruby Sullivan looked like a forest fairy, untouched by dust, as if she didn’t belong to the mortal world.

"How is it?" Ruby Sullivan felt anxious seeing that he had no expression on his face.

Ethan Sterling didn’t say anything but instead planted a kiss on her lips.

A moment later, she rushed back into the room, frustrated, "You ruined my makeup that took over an hour to do by kissing me!" Thankfully, she checked herself carefully in the mirror and felt relieved.

Ethan Sterling was amused, "You’re already beautiful enough; no need to check again. Although I don’t want to rush you, the car Kris sent has been waiting downstairs for ten minutes."

"Okay, okay." Ruby Sullivan picked up a metallic clutch covered in light pink pearls, slipped on silver foiled and star-studded strapped high heels, and immediately headed out.

Ethan Sterling wore a simple white suit and shirt today, but with his face and physique, even in the simplest outfit, he exuded an air of nobility from head to toe.

As soon as they entered the banquet hall, they drew everyone’s attention. This Eastern couple had appearances too attractive, and many immediately recognized Ruby Sullivan. Previously, while she was at Lawson Group, she mostly appeared in a glamorous, seductive style. No one expected that by changing styles, she could be even more stunning!

Seeing her earnestness, Luna could only say disappointedly, "Alright, I thought you might have something with T. Then I could strut around Caelus with no worry about any client, all out!" She rolled her eyes dramatically, and the two laughed quietly together again.

Ruby Sullivan and Luna chatted happily, forgetting to seek out Alex, who unexpectedly came to greet her, surprising her pleasantly.

"Are you in the mood to discuss collaboration?" Alex asked straightforwardly.

Luna tactically stepped away, and Ruby Sullivan grinned, "I came all this way just to discuss a collaboration with you." She was straightforward, hoping he could feel her sincerity.
