They proceeded to walk around the fish market to see if there were any Kelp that was on sale.

But there wasn’t any.

Most of the goods on display were fishes and seafood.

Nothing that was on sale looked like Kelp.

Lin Xuan Qi didn’t have any other choice but to do it the tedious way.

"Have you seen Kelp around?" Lin Xuan Qi asked one of the fishmongers but the fishmonger shook his head.

The fishmonger had never heard of anything called Kelp before.

He went on to ask the next fishmonger in the market but he got the same result as before.

It seemed to him that no one had heard of it before.

And after covering the whole fish market, Lin Xuan Qi’s hope for it got lower and lower as time went by.

"You have not heard of Kelp before." He asked the last fishmonger behind the stall and he gave out a sigh when he saw the fishmonger shaking his head.

Just like the others.

"Do you know whether it’s low tide now?" Lin Xuan Qi didn’t give up and asked.

He tried to see if he could find something by the seaside.

The fishmonger glanced at the sky and said, "It’s not the lowest point right now but the tide wouldn’t come back so soon."

Finally, he had some good news.

"Thanks, where is the longest stretch of seaside we can go and have a look?" Lin Xuan Qi asked and the fishmonger pointed at the beach that wasn’t too far away.

"Over there.

"It’s too shallow for the boats to come in, so there’s not many that have picked up things from there.

The fishmonger said and Lin Xuan Qi thanked him again.

"I think you will find what you want over there." Xue Cong said, trying to comfort him.

He nodded and said, "We can have a stroll at the beach and have some fun."

Even though he didn’t find what he wanted in the fish market, he didn’t forget his other objective of taking a good break after all the work he had done earlier.

They proceeded to get to the beach and the tide was still low as the fishmonger had said.

Part of the beach looked darker due to the sand and soil still being wet with the seawater.

Xue Cong, Yue Jie and Yue Xin felt the strong wind and sun.

They had to try and keep their hair from being messed up by the wind and squinted their eyes from the glare of the sun.

Lin Xuan Qi couldn’t help himself but burst out laughing from what he saw.

"Now I know why you are so eager to come to the beach." Yue Xin frowned and said while she tried to keep the strands of hair that had been swaying from her forehead away from her eyes.

Yue Jie couldn’t help but nod to what Yue Xin had said.

"I think so too." Even Xue Cong thought so and Lin Xuan Qi shrugged his shoulders.

He pointed at the stretch of beach and said, "There are many things we can pick up now that the tide is low.

"Bring the pail and shovel over and I shall teach you a thing or two."

That convinced them that he was planning for this all along.

Zhi Yong raised his hands and said, "Master, me bring pail and shovel!"

He turned around and got to where the guards were and got the pails and shovels from them.

Lin Xuan Qi felt consoled that there was at least someone to recognize his good intentions.

All that he had done for Zhi Yong was not in vain.

Xue Cong, Yue Jie and Yue Xin shook their heads and said, "We are definitely eager to learn more from you."

After being with him for so long, they knew how he was when it came to teaching them new things.

He nodded his head at them and said, "You shall see..."

After Zhi Yong had brought the pails and shovels over, he led them closer to the water and started his ’lesson’.

"See this..." He pointed his shovel at an area where there were small holes.

Lin Xuan Qi squatted down and shoveled the soil and sand.

When he patted away the soil and sand, a clam was on the shovel.

"A clam?!" Yue Xin exclaimed excitedly.

It had never occurred to her that these clams could be found so easily by the beach.

She quickly squatted down and shoveled into the soil where there was a small hole in it.

"I got one too." She also got one of the clams easily.

Xue Cong, Yue Jie and even Liu Shi Shi joined in the fun.

And soon, there was only the noise of the clams being put into the pails and the sound of the waves while they happily shoveled for the clams.

Lin Xuan Qi saw that they were enjoying themselves and said, "I will explore the area over there, shout for me if anything happens."

"I will take care of them." Liu Shi Shi lifted her head and replied.

And there was also Lee He Song watching over them.

Lin Xuan Qi nodded his head and went nearer the water where there were some rocks with Zhi Yong.

Zhi Yong already had half of his pail filled with clams and he wanted to find other things.

When he squatted down at a pile of small rocks, Lin Xuan Qi glanced at Zhi Yong and said, "Here, when you turn the stones over, you might find crabs."

Lin Xuan Qi frowned and tried with the other rock by the side.

And again, there was nothing.

Zhi Yong gave him a smile and said, "Master Lin, me try."

He squatted down, turned the rock that was in front of him and he exclaimed, "Master Lin, look!"

A crab that was half the size of Lin Xuan Qi’s palm was underneath the rock and it tried to scurry away.
