Chapter 95: Chapter 96: Cursed into Confusion

Just as he was thinking about how to cause Drake some trouble, Drake had provided him with a good opportunity. He immediately stepped up to suppress Drake.

However, Drake immediately lashed out at him not giving him the chance to say anything once he recognized the young man.

"Fucking disturb others? Who gives a fuck about others? I’m the one who’s mental state is being disturbed by how fucking high your fucking prices are. This is practically daylight robbery. What the fuck is next on your fucking agenda? Fucking sucking blood from our fucking hearts like a bunch of fucking Vampire’s? I’ve seen Vampire’s and even they aren’t this fucking bloodthirsty. Fuck!" Drake was filled with indignation.

"They might be expensive, but those are the prices." The young man didn’t like that Drake dared to curse at him and he chided, "You don’t have to curse so much to make a point."

"Will Smith don’t need to curse in his rap to sell fucking records. But Eminem does. So fuck Will and fuck you too!" Drake shouted.

The young man frowned and asked, "Who’s Will Smith?"

He was confused. ’Who the hell is Will Smith and what does he have to do with a library.’ he thought.

Drake was like a cat that had just had it’s tail stepped on. "Who’s Will Smith? Did you really just ask me who the fuck Will Smith is? You work in a fucking library and you don’t even know how to look up who Will Smith is, what kind of fucking idiot are you? Have you been living under a rock your whole miserable fucking life? Did you ever get kicked in the fucking head by a fucking donkey? At least fucking tell me you know who Eminem is." Drake kept on flooding out insults on the young man and it was making the young man so angry he felt dizzy.

The young man blew a fuse then shouted angrily, "Shut up damn it! The prices were set by the school, not me. Now I don’t care if you’re Drake, Eminem, MGK or Fucking Tupac Shakur, Those are the prices! No deduction, no reduction, no discounts, no Haggling and definitely no fucking refunds. If you don’t like it, then pick your bitch as up and leave Goddamnit. Fuck!"

He cursed and walked away, he still had no idea what brought Eminem name into a library. If he stayed here for an extra second he was afraid that he would lose his mind and start attacking people

Drake watched quietly as the young man left and nodded. "At least that gets rid of him. The last thing I want is having an idiot on my neck while I’m trying to concentrate."

After looking around a bit he found what he was looking for.

Energy Armor! - 500 Mage Points.

He also found another one.

Energy Sword – 500 Mage Points.

Drake immediately bought them and left the Library. He found a cafeteria and had just taken a seat when the AI projected the menu for him.

Drake smiled ruefully and stared at his current wealth.

After the entrance exam, Drake had received 1362 Mage Points which turns out was one of the highest amounts received by students from the entrance exam.

He had then received 740 Mage Points for being in the Survival training and lasting till the end, and 3417 Mage points for Grade 1 and 2 beasts killed in the fallen city including another 200 Mage points for the 2 Grade 3 Magic Beasts, giving him a total of 4357 Mage Points from survival training. Altogether he had earned a total of 5719 Mage Points.

Since then Drake had to use mage points to pay for his meals.

In the academy, Basic food; which is food with no magic energy property costs 5 Mage points.

A 1 Star meal cost 10 Mage points. This is food containing meat from the flesh of a Grade 1 Magic Beast, thus it possesses some magic energy properties.

2 Star meal cost’s 100 Mage Points.

3 Star meal cost’s 1000 Mage points.

The higher up the ladder the more magic energy the food contained, making it even more beneficial for mages, and more expensive.

So far Drake had already spent a week in the Academy. In the first and in that time he had spent 75 Mage points on the Basic meals for the first few days, and after Logan’s party, another 800 mage points on the 2 star meals.

He hadn’t seen how fast his money was going until he finally purchased the Magic Skills from the library and spent 1000 Mage Points in one go.

He had also payed for Doughnuts with 12 Mage points.

Now he was only down to 3832 Mage Points.

Drake suddenly felt like if this kept up he would soon be out on the streets if he didn’t get some more money fast.

"Luckily, I have my Virgo Constellation’s healing power or I would have needed to pay for the healers after my spar with the Wolff Brother’s last night. That would have probably sucked me dry." he muttered.

After the survival training ordeal, Drake had been thinking he was quite rich. Now he felt like his little bit of wealth wasn’t worth anything.

"Now I know why the Academy gives students missions. I need a job myself."

Now that Drake knew the joys of having money to eat whatever he wanted whenever he wanted, he did not want to go broke.

Drake stared at the menu for a long time struggling with himself.

"Damn it, I have no choice but to bite the bullet." he said grinding his teeth. "If I eat high Grade Beast meat it helps in raising my Battle Power advancing my cultivation. When I’m stronger, killing magic beasts will be easier. This is for the GREATER GOOD!"

A few minutes later, Drake was stuffing his face with a drumstick of a Grade 2 magic beast. "Mmm, delicious! Magic beast is just on another level when compared to ordinary animals flesh, and this chef is a master in the art of cuisine. This is just divine! "

Drake drowned the pretty waitress with an oceans worth of complements as he ate.

At the end of the day it was all to satisfy his inner glutton.

Drake thought out loud, "If Whis and Lord Beerus were already crazy about Earths food with ordinary food I wonder what would happen if they got a taste of this."

He laughed "Haha. Those two would probably be willing to risk anything to eat this if they knew of it’s existence. Even if it means that they have to team up against Grand Zeno and Dragon God Zalama. Now that I think about it, Shenron can be considered a magic beast right? I wonder if Lord Beerus and Whis would hunt Shenron for food if they knew magic beasts tasted like this. Maybe they might even try going for Zalama if Shenron’s taste was to their liking."

The idea was quite thought provoking. Drake could almost visualize the battle scene.

Lord Beerus in his full Hakai form, and Whis in a set of divine grade battle armor beside him. Both of them facing up against the massive golden Dragon whose size alone could cover all Twelve Universes.

Drake finished his meal happily and returned to his room.

The Wolff Brothers were out training with the rest of the team for the Grand mage tournament, so there was no one around.

Drake sat in his bed and began going through the Magic Skill manuals.

These manuals had been put together after research by other veteran mages giving the best most refined ways to use magic power.

By the time Drake was done reading the first manual which was the manual for the Energy armor his face reddened as he blushed in shame.

Drake shook his head saying, "These methods really are more refined. Compared to this my old way of using magic power could not even be called basic, it was simply too crude."

After reading this manual he realized that Adam had probably found the least most insulting way of letting him down to not offend him.

Drake started use the method in the Magic skill manual.

His magic power moved and soon formed a thin Violet film at the surface of his body clinging to him.

Unlike before that when he activated his Energy armor; it looked like flames burning around him it no longer looked that exaggerated now.

Instead it was more reserved and the tremendous energy consumption was gone. Also the strain of actively controlling his magic power on his mind had lessened greatly.

Drake activated all the other forms of Energy armor he could summon and he was very satisfied at the results.

Next up he read through the Energy sword manual.

The Skill manuals were not very long only comprising of very few pages of information, so Drake was done in no time at all.

The contents made Drake want to bury his head in the ground. When he thought of just how crude his use of magic power was before reading these manuals he felt like a child.

"At the end of the day it was worth it." Drake thought.

The two skill manuals might be small and overpriced, but after reading them Drake no longer felt so much resentment towards the academy for their high prices,

Drake did not have a sword with him so he was currently unable to test the Energy sword, so he decided to postpone testing it out until he had one available.
