Counterfeit Hero-Chapter 907 - 7-47: Cathartic Journey (Part 2)
To stop these people, I must defeat them!
But if they're like Fang Xiang at this moment, what do I have to defeat them with, what do I use to defend everything I want to protect? With the sacrifice of my subordinates?
Then what difference is there between me and them?
The saying "the benevolent cannot lead troops..." has been passed down for thousands of years, and now it echoes in Fatty's ear, still so piercing.
"You don't have any more time to think." Fang Xiang's voice sounded cold: "My fleet is about to attack the spaceport. Don't you want to stop me?"
Damn it! Who says I don't want to, I want it desperately!
Fatty sat upright again in front of the simulation computer, refusing to believe this battle could have only one approach!
On the virtual keyboard, Fatty's fingers flew like the wind.
Fang Xiang almost immediately felt the pressure. In the end, Fatty didn't choose to sacrifice part of his fleet. His fleet, while dodging and maneuvering, seized and created every opportunity, frantically tearing at the line of defense formed by the four carriers. The defense system of the base was also mobilized, desperately resisting the attacks of Fang Xiang's fleet.
Fang Xiang saw Fatty's choice.
She couldn't understand her own feelings at the moment, whether it was disappointment or joy for the Saleria Longbow Fleet following him.
But how far can a commander without decisive aggressiveness, who can't bear to abandon pawns, really go in this war?
Two minutes later, one carrier was destroyed, and shortly after, another one. The Red Army fleet frantically attacked.
Five minutes later, the Blue Army fleet finally broke through the spaceport's defenses and dispatched the Army. Fang Xiang saw Fatty's ashen face.
Eight minutes later, when the Blue Army landed on the ground, Fang Xiang was shocked to find the fierce battle between the Red Army and the defense system in the ground city had already neared its end.
How can he be this fast?
In shock, Fang Xiang didn't hesitate at all and immediately launched an attack against the Red Army.
Fifteen minutes later, the Blue Army Space Fleet had been annihilated by the Red Army fleet, and the spaceport once again fell into the hands of the Red Army.
Twenty minutes later, a Red Army Armored Group occupied the target area. When the simulation ended, both the Red Army and Blue Army were in a white-hot battle in the city, the Blue Army attacking recklessly while the Red Army did everything they could to delay the battle and preserve their strength...
After a white streak of light flashed across the virtual screen, the simulation program abruptly stopped. What appeared next on the screen were the data from both sides.
The simulation room fell silent. Everyone was staring blankly.
Cecilia rubbed her eyes hard, the staff officers looked at each other, bewildered, none of them expected Fang Xiang, with a simulation level as high as Seven-star, to lose so thoroughly.
"Blue Army remaining forces, fifteen percent. Red Army remaining forces, seventy-three percent. Red Team achieved its objective. Red Team wins."
This succinct result flashed continuously on the virtual screen. Below the result was a densely packed array of data.
If the result was just bewildering, then these data were enough to drive one mad.
Firstly, the time taken for this simulated confrontation, from start to finish, was a total of forty-five minutes. This time was actually five minutes earlier than the minimum set by the system.
If anyone still didn't understand what this timing indicated, then just looking at the combat power comparison between the two sides, even an idiot would understand what happened.
The system indicated the Red Army combat power as 770, Blue Army combat power as 320.
The meaning of this data is simple. It signifies that Fang Xiang, who could simultaneously control sixty-nine operational conditions, from troop deployment, operation command, to tactical application, had a combat power only half that of Fatty!
Then what star level is Fatty's simulation?
No one thought anymore that those weird symbols of Fatty's were just meaningless scribbles.
The data displayed on the simulation computer, and the implications behind these data, made every person present feel a tingling on their scalp. 𝗳𝚛𝗲𝕖𝚠𝚎𝚋𝗻𝗼𝕧𝗲𝐥.𝚌𝚘𝐦
If the results were shown directly to those uninformed, anyone would assume this was the outcome of a novice against a master.
Data doesn't lie, but if even a Seven-star simulation is for novices, then what do these Three-star and Four-star staff officers present count as?
"Is this Fatty even human?" Cecilia's eyes were rubbed red, but she couldn't rub out the data on the screen. Her frank remark voiced everyone's thoughts.
But when everyone turned their surprised and awed gaze toward Fatty, they found that even though he'd won the confrontation, Fatty sat quietly in front of the computer, staring blankly at the virtual screen, as if the victory had nothing to do with him at all.
"I believe your simulation review results." Fang Xiang gently pushed the desk, sliding her chair, stood up, and walked beside Fatty. Her slender figure leaned lightly against the back of Fatty's chair: "This is the first time that I've lost so convincingly."
Fatty stared blankly at her, his eyes vacant.
"I have to admit, I never dreamed you could resolve my do-or-die attack with just twenty-three percent of your forces." Fang Xiang brushed aside her hair, staring into Fatty's eyes: "How did you do it?"
"Does it matter?" Fatty's eyes remained vacant, mumbling: "This is just a personal simulation confrontation, you alone could make me lose twenty-seven percent of my forces. If it were in reality, encountering an enemy with a complete staff system, how much would I lose?"
