He dodged to the left at his fastest pace, the wolf's teeth snapping shut just inches from his throat.

Spit splattered though the air and the unbearable stench of it's mouth engulfed Creed, but he was currently too focused to notice.

He was in the zone!

Without thinking, he thrust his spear forward, aiming to counter attack, but the wolf ducked under the strike, its movements absurdly agile!

It was playing with them. But before it could counter, Lilith appeared beside it!

Her leg swung down like a guillotine.

BAM!

A devastating axe kick slammed onto the wolf's back, purple lightning exploding from the point of impact.

The wolf howled in agony, a deep, ugly wound tearing across its spine. Its instincts screamed danger, so it did what any cornered beast would do.

It went for the kill!

Its body twisted, claws slashing toward Lilith's throat!

The wolf dodged again!

But it had made a mistake. In it's haste, it had dodged in the wrong direction. Lilith was already there. Her fist slammed into its knee.

A loud CRACK!

Lightning surged and the wolf's knee snapped. It howled in agony, its body buckling under the pain.

Lilith leaped back, dodging a desperate bite, but before the beast could recover, she leaped forward again!

Creed and Lilith moved as one.

From two sides, they closed in on the crippled wolf.

Lilith reached first. Her fist flashed forward with a terrifying amount of purple lightning.

The wolf barely twisted to avoid the critical strike, but in it's haste, it unknowingly leaned on its broken knee.

It lost balance!

That was the end.

Creed's eyes blazed with fighting spirit. He lunged. His spear shot forward, the air whistling from the force.

He screamed at his loudest voice just to make the scene more cinematic; "TAKE MY THRUST YOU BEAST!"

SQUELCH!

The spear pierced through the wolf's eye, sinking deep into its skull. Its body shuddered and then it went still, collapsing onto the ground.

It was dead!

Creed collapsed onto his back, his chest heaving. His entire body was trembling, the adrenaline still surging through his veins.

That fight...

That insane, fast paced, merciless fight had actually just happened!

It still felt so unreal!

He started laughing. It started as a chuckle then quickly grew until he was flat on the ground, dying of laughter.

"H-Holy hell..." he gasped between breaths. "We actually won?"

Although he knew he shouldn't be making so much noise to prevent drawing attention to himself, he simply couldn't help it.

It was too exhilarating!

They were both at the lowest level of strength, yet they managed to kill a bonafide Stage 1 Dimensional Beast?

But before he could process it further, a warm weight pressed down on him. It was soft, comfortable and fluffy.

Lilith had climbed on top of him. Her violet eyes glowed mischievously. She wrapped her wings around them both, cocooning them in warmth.

Then, with a sultry whisper...

Creed froze. His brain short circuited.
