Daddy is too Strong-Chapter 64
Chapter 64
“You said you’d do anything if you lost, right?” Do-Jun asked as he walked toward Yoon-Ji, who was shivering in fear.
A sly grin spread across his lips, but his eyes were completely devoid of amusement.
As the distance between them narrowed, Yoon-Ji wrapped her arms around herself and backed away.
“W-what are you planning to do to me? I-I’m still a middle schooler.”
“It’s fine. This is something even a middle schooler can handle.”
“T-t-that’s a crime! Though I don’t know what exactly you’re thinking...! I’ll call the police!”
Yoon-Ji kept backing up until she hit the wall, and there was nowhere left for her to retreat.
Do-Jun continued moving closer as his grin grew wider.
Her face turned pale, tears welling up in her eyes. “P-please... don’t kill me...”
Yoon-Ji shut her eyes tightly.

Red-hot charcoal crackled as it burned brightly in a long rectangular brazier.
“Maybe he’s impotent,” Yoon-Ji muttered, staring blankly as she turned over the burning coals with a tong.
Meanwhile, Do-Jun spotted her spacing out while carrying a box of drinks and alcohol. He set the box down, used a special footwork to hide his presence, and quietly approached her from behind.
Leaning close to her ear, Do-Jun whispered softly, “Don’t slack off, human.”
Startled by the sudden presence, Yoon-Ji let out a scream. When she turned around and saw who it was, her face twisted as if she might cry.
“You almost gave me a heart attack!” she snapped at Do-Jun.
“Who said you can slack off? Go grab some boxes from the bus.”
“Ugh.”
Seven coolers filled with drinks and alcohol were in the open luggage compartment of the bus. The ice was mostly melted, so the boxes were going to be heavy.
“Sorry, but...” Putting on a frail, delicate expression, Yoon-Ji looked up at Do-Jun. Smirking inwardly, she said, “I’m a bit frail, so could you help me out, oppa?”
No man had ever been able to resist this face before. Yoon-Ji thought that this act would surely get him no matter how impotent Do-Jun was.
But she was gravely mistaken.
Do-Jun’s expression hardened, his eyes cold as if saying he would kill her if she didn’t start moving. Letting out an involuntary hiccup, Yoon-Ji quickly sprinted toward the bus.
As she hurried off, Do-Jun sighed and moved the tables stacked in the corner.
“So, what do you like so much about my sister that you’re dating her? Be honest. I bet it’s her looks, isn’t it?” Yoon-Ji asked while carefully stacking the boxes.
Though she seemed frail, she must have had a decent Strength stat. It was evident even when she played ping-pong earlier.
“I’m dating who?” Do-Jun asked back.
“You’re not dating her? My sister told me you confessed to her. Didn’t you say, ‘You’re the only one for me’?”
“That’s just how your sister chose to interpret things.”
“So... you’re not together?”
Do-Jun shook his head.
Yoon-Ji had been watching him closely. She took a step back in surprise, exclaiming, “Don’t tell me you’re after me now? Sorry, but you’re not my type, so I must reject you.”
“Got it. Just focus on your work.”
Deciding to ignore her, Do-Jun walked over to the side with the tables.

After an hour of hard preparation, the barbeque was finally ready.
The employees of the Fissure Management Division gathered in the open space in front of the lodge and held up their glasses.
Kim Deok-Bae, Department Head of the Fissure Management Division, cleared his throat, glanced at the staff, and began his speech.
“Thank you all for your hard work during the first half of the year. I want to take this opportunity to express my gratitude for persevering and handling everything without major incidents. Tonight, let’s forget about work and have a great time! To the Fissure Management Division!”
As Kim Deok-Bae raised his glass, all the staff clinked theirs together, shouting, “Fissure Management Division!” They downed their drinks and picked off the meat, mushrooms, sausages, and other barbeque dishes sizzling to a perfect golden brown on the grill.
“This is the life,” Cheol-Soo said, putting down his glass and wiping the beer foam from his mouth with his hand.
Looking at Do-Jun with Ye-Ji stuck to his side, Cheol-Soo chuckled. He nudged Hyuk-Soo’s waist with his elbow, nodding toward them.
“Hey, Hyuk-Soo, want to bet on when those two will get married?”
Hyuk-Soo sipped his soju and watched as Ye-Ji tried to feed Do-Jun a rib. He shrugged and replied, “I’ll bet they won’t.”
“Seriously? Do you not see how lovey-dovey they are?”
“Do-Jun is clearly not interested. Does one-sided love ever work out?”

The first half hour of the barbeque flew by as the atmosphere warmed up and the drinking pace picked up.
Ye-Ji, who wasn’t a heavy drinker, especially seemed to have reached her limit.
“Hehe, Mr. Administrator, have another drink with me.”
“Ye-Ji, you’ve had enough.”
Do-Jun took the soju glass from her hand and placed it on the table.
Her usual drinking limit was half a bottle. Learning Scholar’s Swordsmanship had increased her mana, raising her limit to one and a half bottles, but she had already had more than two and was swaying, barely able to stay upright.
“Senior Lee Yeon-Hee.” Unable to watch any longer, Do-Jun called out to his female colleague.
“Yes?” she responded.
“I’m sorry, but Hunter Ye-Ji is quite drunk. Could you take her to her room and help her rest?”
“Oh my, she does look pretty wasted. I can do that; I was just about to head to my room, too.”
“Thank you.”
Lee Yeon-Hee took Ye-Ji’s hand and led her back to the inn.

Soon after, Yoon-Ji sneaked over to the barbecue area. She had been helping her mother with the inn’s administration so far.
She walked over to where Do-Jun was, looked around cautiously, and asked him, “Where’s my sister?”
“She looked tired, so I had her sent back to her room so she could get some sleep.”
Yoon-Ji seemed slightly surprised as she understood this statement as Do-Jun had personally escorted her sister to the room and helped her sleep.
“You’re surprisingly kind, Mister.”
“Thanks for thinking that way.”
“I suppose I could give you five more points.”
“So, what am I at right now?”
“Negative ninety-five.”
Do-Jun chuckled at her joke and took a sip of soju.
He wasn’t getting drunk at all since his body was already immune to any sort of poison, and he also had the pure internal energy from his dantian circulating throughout his body. However, he still drank for the mood.
“Do you like the taste of alcohol, Mister?” Yoon-Ji asked curiously.
In her fifteen years of life, she had never tasted a single drop of alcohol because adults always emphasized that alcohol was something she could drink only after growing up.
She always thought it was just one of those things and moved on. But watching Do-Jun drink, she felt the urge to try it for herself.
“Well, I’d say cola would suit your taste buds better,” Do-Jun answered.
“Y-you’re just treating me like a child right now, aren’t you?”
“Oh, are you an adult, then?”
Do-Jun shared his honest opinion—a straightforward comment with no hidden meaning, but Yoon-Ji took even that as a challenge.
She quickly grabbed a soju glass from the table, not knowing or caring whose it was, and downed it in one gulp.
Ugh, what is this taste?! It’s so bitter! Do adults really like this?
Despite the wave of regret, she managed to maintain her composure and keep a straight face.
Do-Jun watched her with an amused look.
“Not... bad...” Yoon-Ji said, her face turning bright red.
It seemed she hadn’t noticed it herself.
Ah... I feel dizzy.
The sudden onset of intoxication made her regret drinking the soju as she struggled to keep her body steady. The last thing she wanted was to show a weak side in front of Do-Jun, so she decided to leave immediately.
“I should get back to work.”
With that, Yoon-Ji turned and walked away while Do-Jun sipped his soju, quietly watching her retreating figure.
He could clearly see she was trying to fight the dizziness with sheer willpower. But that was none of his business.

Ah... my body feels so hot...
Yoon-Ji’s entire body felt like it was burning up while the dizziness made it hard to walk properly—all after just one drink.
How did adults manage to drink more than a whole bottle of this?
I should take a break here before going inside.
There was a place she went to sit and zone out whenever her head got too busy. Behind the storage next to the hot spring inn building was a wooden pavilion she often played at as a child with her sister.
After walking for about two minutes, a modest-sized wooden pavilion came into view.
Yoon-Ji walked over and sat down. She lifted her head, her blurry eyes fixed on the crescent moon hanging in the night sky.
I don’t get what she sees in that guy.
“You see, the thing about Mr. Administrator is that at first, he was really cold, but once you get to know him, he’s incredibly kind. Even though he acts like he’s annoyed, he’s always the first to help me when I’m in trouble. When I started at Seoul City Hall...”
Whenever they spoke on the phone, Ye-Ji would always talk about what she did with this man named Mr. Administrator. All their conversations somehow centered around him, and each time, Yoon-Ji was annoyed to hear it.
She thought her sister was being used by some shady guy.
Suddenly, she heard a crackling sound, and space tore open right before her eyes. It wasn’t very large, just about two meters.
“Huh...? A-a Fissure...?”
Then, the Fissure swallowed her whole.

When she came to her senses and opened her eyes, she found herself in a spacious cave. A chilling, eerie cry echoed from within, and the blood-red eyes of bats hanging from the ceiling seemed to be glaring at her.
[Fissure Break Occurred!]
[Activation Condition: Current number of challengers inside the Fissure 3 or fewer]
[Clear Condition: Eliminate all monsters within the Fissure]
[Clear Reward: All challengers’ Strength, Agility, and Stamina stats +15]
[Penalty: Unable to exit during the Break]
[Remaining Regular Monsters: 7]
[Remaining Champion Monsters: 2]
[Remaining Boss Monster: 1]
“W-what is this...”
Yoon-Ji was sucked into a Fissure that had appeared out of nowhere, shocking her enough to make the effects of alcohol dissipate in an instant.
Her lips trembled as she read the Fissure Break message floating before her eyes.
“I can’t exit during the Break... Ouch!”
As she tried to stand up, she noticed her ankle was swollen. It seemed that she had sprained it. She couldn’t muster any strength in her leg.
“You’re lying... What is going on?” she uttered in disbelief.
At this moment, when she was unable to move and facing a Fissure Break, the word death flashed through her mind. To make the situation even more dire, the aura emanating from inside the cave was far more intimidating than that of F-rank or E-rank monsters like goblins or kobolds.
Thud.
Thud.
Something was approaching from inside. The sound was so heavy it felt like the cave was shaking. And when she finally saw the creature, Yoon-Ji’s face turned pale.
“Cave... Ogre...”
Kwaaaah!
The Cave Ogre roared as it spotted Yoon-Ji sitting helplessly on the ground.
It charged toward her, lifting the axe in its hand.
As she sensed that death was a split second away, her life flashed before her eyes like a lantern showing her past.
“Mr. Administrator is always the first to help me when I’m in trouble.” She recalled her sister’s words.
“Mister...”
Why was he the person that came to her mind?
Thud!
Now, right in front of Yoon-Ji, the Cave Ogre drove its axe down.
She squeezed her eyes shut.
