Chapter 361: Chapter 361: The Fearless Favorites

Grant Villa.

After dinner, Amelia Miles and Benjamin Harper chatted with Hunter Miles for a while.

Hunter’s body was still a bit weak. After helping him upstairs to rest, Amelia returned to her room to wash up.

She took a comfortable bath, dried her hair, and prepared to go downstairs for a glass of water.

Beep, a message arrived on her phone.

Amelia Miles picked it up and glanced at it, her eyes suddenly brightening.

It was a message from Damon Hawke.

"Had dinner?"

Just two simple words, yet Amelia could imagine someone’s manner as they typed on their phone.

A bit noble, somewhat lazy.

Amelia Miles curled her lips slightly, sat back on the sofa, and replied with a simple "Mm."

"Who did you have dinner with?"

Damon Hawke immediately sent another message.

Amelia Miles considered calling him directly.

But then she worried it might be inconvenient for Damon.

After all, Victoria Don was by his side, watching them like a hawk.

Thinking of this, Amelia calmly started to reply to the message.

"With my dad, and Evan."

On the other end, Damon Hawke sat in his study, looking at the message on his phone, his dark eyes narrowing slightly.

No wonder the little ones specifically called to remind him not to forget to contact the little woman; it turns out there’s a male friend beside her.

"Benjamin Harper? That celebrity? Is he one of your admirers?"

Damon typed a line down.

Amelia blinked at the line, a flash of cunning in her eyes.

"Yes, are you jealous?"

Would he be jealous if she had admirers around her?

"No feeling."

Those cold three words dampened Amelia’s mood.

Serious, he feels disdain for her now, so why would he be jealous?

Isn’t she just asking for trouble?

"Okay, then I’ll continue chatting with him later."

Amelia pursed her lips, deliberately typing a sentence.

Damon raised his eyebrows, a hint of amusement in his eyes. 𝕗𝚛𝚎𝚎𝐰𝗲𝗯𝗻𝚘𝚟𝚎𝗹.𝕔𝐨𝕞

"Alright, later I’ll go see Victoria Don too."

Even though he can’t see her, he can imagine someone’s little expressions.

She must be disappointed and gritting her teeth in anger!

That’s why she deliberately said she’d go chat with Benjamin.

So of course he can say he’ll go see Victoria Don.

Let’s see who gets angrier!

Indeed, those being favored feel they have the privilege not to fear.

Isn’t this just him using his heartlessness to bully her?

That’s a bit unfair.

"Damon Hawke! Just try going to see Victoria Don!!"

Amelia used several exclamation marks to express her strong dissatisfaction.

Damon looked at the line, the smile on his lips deepening.

He could almost see a little wildcat with its claws out, lacking any real threat, yet fiercely adorable.

"So fierce?"

"Am I fierce? This is clearly a warning!"

Amelia pouted, knowing he was teasing her.

But thinking that she would soon be going to Vexia, and for a while, she couldn’t be by his side to watch him, her heart was always on edge.

"I’m about to go to Vexia. I warn you, at home, no, not just at home, anywhere, you mustn’t get too close to her, understand?"

Looking at this line, Damon Hawke’s playful expression slightly faded.

Is she really going to personally look for a solution for him?

Her going out alone as a girl makes him a bit uneasy.

"I don’t feel comfortable with you going alone. Now that our families are collaborating, why don’t I find an excuse to go with you?"

Seeing this sentence, Amelia felt a strange urge to cry.

"Tom, are you worried about me?"

Even if he doesn’t remember her, his care for her remains.

Damon Hawke felt the message was a bit sentimental, so he raised his eyebrows and deliberately replied, "Yes, I’m afraid if something happens to my partner, it would harm the company interests."

The little woman must be eagerly waiting for him to say something sentimental, but he just didn’t want to oblige.

For some reason, teasing her felt quite enjoyable.

"Hmph, hypocrite."

Amelia selectively ignored the latter part and only saw the first two words.

She typed another line, "I know you’re subconsciously worried about me, but don’t worry, for your sake, I’ll definitely return safely and find a way to solve the problem."

As Damon looked at this line, his expression turned a bit serious.

"Be safe on the road, and if there are any issues, make sure to communicate with me promptly."

"Got it, Tom, you have significant responsibilities too, everything at home will be entrusted to you."

"Okay."

"Good."

Looking at the last word, Damon couldn’t help but laugh.

Somehow it felt like the division of labor in a relationship, with the man handling internal affairs and the woman external ones.

At this moment, there was a knock on the door.

Outside, Victoria Don’s voice called.

"Tom."

Damon Hawke’s smile faded, putting his phone away.

He knew he couldn’t afford to have a falling out with Victoria Don right now, so he had to act calm.

Victoria coming to him this late, he wondered what she wanted.

Opening the door, there were two bodyguards blocking Victoria Don, not allowing her near the study.

But due to Damon’s presence, they could only block her, unable to forcibly take her away.

Damon coldly ordered the bodyguards to step aside and looked at Victoria Don.

"Vivi, what’s up?"

Victoria held a teapot and smiled sweetly at Damon, "Tom, I’ve brewed some good tea for you, won’t you try it?"

Brewed good tea for him?

Who knows what kind of special things are mixed in this tea.

Damon took the teapot without showing any emotion, "Thanks."

"Tom, are you still busy? I can keep you company."

Victoria spoke as she tried to enter the study.

Damon replied, "No need. I don’t like being disturbed while working."

"But Tom..."

"It’s late, don’t you women need beauty sleep? Go back to your room and rest. The tea you brewed, I will savor it slowly."

Damon raised the teapot in his hand and spoke gently.

This appearance suggests he’s being considerate.

Seeing Damon in this gentle manner, Victoria instinctively touched her face, feeling delighted.

She glanced at the teapot in Damon’s hand, hiding the gleam in her eyes.

"Well then, Tom, I’ll go back to my room. Remember to drink the tea I brewed and tell me how it tastes tomorrow."

He’s so considerate to her, he will surely follow her words and drink her tea.

If he drinks even a sip, then she’ll have fulfilled her promise to Gavin Miles.

"Alright, you’re thoughtful."

Damon gave Victoria a deep look and said this.

Victoria smiled sweetly and turned to leave.

Damon’s smile quickly disappeared.

He glanced at the teapot in his hand, closed the door, and directly poured it into a nearby plant.

There’s no way he would drink the tea Victoria brewed for him.

Obviously, the act has to be carried out thoroughly.

When she asks him, he’ll pretend he drank it.

The Miles family.

Amelia Miles went downstairs to drink water.

A moment later, Benjamin Harper also came down.

"Elly."

Amelia held a cup of water and turned to look at him.

"Evan, you’re not asleep yet?"

"Mm, not sleepy yet."
