Daddy, You Got The Wrong Mommy-Chapter 383: Is He Suspecting Her?
"Elly, what’s wrong? What happened?"
Sarah Moore pushed the door open and asked as she looked at Amelia Miles.
Amelia Miles raised her eyes and grabbed Sarah Moore’s hand, "Kiki, last night Tom vomited blood because he didn’t want to deal with Victoria Don. Do you think we could hypnotize Victoria Don to alter her memory and divert her attention from Tom?"
As long as Victoria Don no longer focuses on Damon Hawke, she wouldn’t be coquettish or cry in front of him.
Wouldn’t Damon Hawke be relatively safer until he found a new host?
"This, as a psychologist, altering someone’s memory without reason is somewhat unethical."
Hearing this, Sarah Moore hesitated slightly before speaking.
Amelia Miles tightened her grip on her hand, "Kiki, I know it’s against the rules, but Victoria Don is not a good person. She has severely hurt Tom. Do we still need to be kind to her?"
Sarah Moore paused for a moment, then nodded, "Elly, you’re right. But I still want to ask my brother to see if doing so would affect Mr. Hawke."
"Okay, go ask quickly."
Amelia Miles responded and first went to the bathroom to freshen up.
She was absent-minded and vaguely heard a conversation between Sarah Moore and Frost Moore.
"It’s okay, right? Alright, I got it."
Sarah Moore seemed to say it’s okay.
Amelia Miles quickly washed up, entered the living room, and looked at Sarah Moore.
"How is it?"
"It’s okay."
Sarah Moore put away her phone and said with a smile.
"Great, I’ll have Chase Quinn bring Victoria Don over right away."
Amelia Miles was excited and hurriedly called Chase Quinn.
After receiving the call, Chase Quinn agreed.
Amelia Miles hung up the phone, thought for a moment, and then called Damon Hawke.
He was involved, so he had to be informed.
"Hello?"
A man’s magnetic voice came through the static.
Amelia Miles pursed her lips and asked, "Tom, does your chest still hurt?"
Upon hearing this, Damon Hawke paused while flipping through documents, his black eyes narrowing slightly. 𝑓𝑟ℯ𝘦𝓌𝘦𝘣𝑛𝑜𝓋𝑒𝓁.𝑐ℴ𝓂
"Did the boys tell you something?"
Those two little rascals, didn’t they promise not to tell Amelia Miles?
How did they end up telling her?
"If they hadn’t said anything, were you planning to keep it from me?"
Amelia Miles pouted and said.
"I didn’t tell you because I didn’t want you to worry. Unless you want me to act like the boys, acting spoiled and asking for hugs?"
Damon Hawke teased.
"That wouldn’t be impossible."
Amelia Miles imagined such a scene and felt there was nothing wrong with it.
"Okay, I’ll make it up to you tonight."
The man’s voice was low, as if implying something.
Amelia Miles bit her lip, thinking about some inappropriate things, causing her face to flush red.
"Ahem, well, Kiki, I mean, Sarah and I discussed it and decided to bring Victoria Don in and hypnotize her first. Is she still at the Hawke Group now?"
Almost called out Kiki’s name.
Amelia Miles stuck out her tongue and quickly got to the point.
"I don’t know, I’m in the office working."
Damon Hawke’s black eyes narrowed slightly, noticing the mention of Kiki.
But just as he was about to ask something, his chest suddenly twisted in pain.
His expression changed slightly, and his brows knitted instantly.
What’s going on?
This twisting pain was familiar, only occurring when Victoria Don cried, giving him the feeling of someone gripping his heart.
But now, Victoria Don wasn’t with him, so why did he feel this way?
"Alright, don’t worry about this matter. I’ve already got Chase Quinn to bring Victoria Don over. Once Sarah hypnotizes her, she shouldn’t focus on you anymore, and you won’t feel heartache because of her."
Amelia Miles didn’t notice Damon Hawke’s change in expression and spoke with a smile.
At that moment, her phone rang.
It was a call from Chase Quinn.
Amelia Miles thought it was Chase Quinn telling her he caught Victoria Don and quickly said, "Okay, I won’t say anything more. Chase Quinn is calling me."
The call ended abruptly with a beep.
Damon Hawke clutched his chest, his brows furrowing tighter.
Why was this twisting pain growing stronger?
"Mr. Hawke."
Someone walked in.
It was Rhun Quinn, who had recently woken up from the hospital.
His body was still weak, but his spirit was holding up well.
When he saw Damon Hawke’s pale face, he hurried over.
"Mr. Hawke, what’s wrong with you?"
"Rhun, have you seen Victoria Don?"
"I didn’t see her when I arrived."
Rhun replied truthfully.
Victoria Don wasn’t at the company?
Then why was his heart feeling this twisted pain?
"Mr. Hawke, I’ll take you to the hospital."
"I’m fine."
"..."
In the luxurious suite.
Amelia Miles answered Chase Quinn’s call.
"Chase, have you brought Victoria Don back?"
"Miss Grant, I’m afraid you’ll have to wait a little longer. Victoria Don is not at the company; she’s secretly leaving Sea City."
Chase Quinn reported honestly.
"What?"
Amelia Miles’ smile froze, feeling very puzzled.
Why did Victoria Don choose to leave Sea City at this time?
Was it just because the two little ones chased her out of the Hawke family’s old mansion this morning?
Is she really such a thin-skinned person?
Something doesn’t feel right.
"Miss Grant, don’t worry. Our people are pursuing her and will capture her soon." Chase Quinn said.
"Alright, thank you for your trouble."
Amelia Miles hung up the phone, unable to comprehend the reason behind Victoria Don’s sudden departure.
Thinking it over, she stood up and said, "Sarah, I’m going to find your brother."
She wanted to ask Frost Moore whether Victoria Don’s departure would affect Damon Hawke.
If there was no impact, then she wouldn’t need to capture her for hypnosis.
Sarah Moore was helping the nanny care for the little baby during breakfast.
She watched Amelia Miles leave and didn’t think much of it.
Shortly after, the doorbell rang.
Sarah Moore thought Amelia Miles had returned.
She got up to open the door.
"Elly, did you find my brother..."
Before she could finish her sentence, the smile on her face froze.
Standing outside wasn’t Amelia Miles but Craig Landers.
Why was he here so early in the morning?
Sarah Moore’s feelings were no longer as tumultuous as when she first met him.
She gave him a faint smile, "Mr. Landers, coming so early, is there something you need?"
The woman’s voice was still somewhat coarse, but he found it inexplicably comfortable.
Craig Landers waved the breakfast in his hand.
"I brought some breakfast for you."
Hearing this, Sarah Moore smiled faintly and said, "Mr. Landers, you’re too kind."
"It’s only right."
Craig Landers curled his lips, looking at her aloof demeanor, "Miss Mercer, you are Damon’s guests, and as his good friend, I must treat you well."
After a pause, he raised an eyebrow and said, "Aren’t you going to invite me to sit inside?"
Saying this, he walked in without waiting for Sarah Moore to speak.
Sarah Moore frowned slightly, watching Craig Landers enter uninvited, and bit her lip.
This man had been particularly focused on her since yesterday.
Was he suspicious of her?
