Date a Witch: Reborn as the Witch of Lust! (GL)-Chapter 100: Tasting Envy; Rising Tension
Chapter 100: Tasting Envy; Rising Tension
One excerpt from the game spoke of this: With a Witch’s gaze, even madness fell like snow-tears.
As Mel descended, the excerpt echoed in her mind; Greed and Envy both glaring down at the kobolds below.
One conjured spinning icicles beside her; the other wielded a long battleaxe effortlessly in one hand.
Despite the crystals marring their sanity, the kobold shuddered as they stepped back, the pressure from their glares too much to bear.
But as Mel touched down, their gazes softened, like snowfall reversing course to float back into the sky.
"Ah, Mel!" A grumpy Lila’s face beamed, as Mel’s steps landed upon the soft soil in the distance with a small smile.
She petted the broom before dismissing it, then headed towards Lila, the elf following closely behind.
"Quite a good job you did here, Lila!" Her cheerful voice boomed as her gaze swept around, where corpses of crystalised kobolds littered the mudded ground.
Lila hung her head in slight regret. "I-I was originally going to come find you, then that blonde..."
"I merely suggested she’d only hinder the Knight’s search efforts, and the senior is likely there to protect her as well."
The Heiress shrugged as she slammed the battleaxe to the mud, smoke kicking up as the axe sank into the earth.
"I could’ve spread out my spells for a little search..." Lila fiddled with her index fingers before Mel stopped before her.
"Sorry... I was too focused on the competition that..."
"It’s alright. Just a teleportation error!" She petted Lila, her fingers caressing through her smooth hair.
Mel’s touch peeled away Lila’s worry, her head tilting to lean further into the warmth of her hand.
Then, as Mel’s nail brushed against her ear, deliberate yet soft, the little tickle sparked her senses.
Lila glanced up in confusion, gasping slightly as she met the unusually heated look in Mel’s eyes.
She uttered. "Mel?"
The Witch of Lust breathed out. "What is it, Lila?"
As Mel’s memory drifted back on how the Saintess ’edged’ her desires, Mel’s thighs clasped together in anticipation.
The innocent glimmer in Lila’s emerald eyes was irresistible, and the way her flushed ears twitched with quiet desire made Mel ache to take a bite.
With a gulp, Mel leaned in to capture her lips hungrily.
"Mm! Mm..."
As Lila whimpered in surprise, she quickly melted into the kiss.
Mel chuckled, slipping her tongue skillfully to taste Lila’s sweetness again.
Rosana raised a brow in confusion, then glared at the two kobolds rushing in as the tension in the air faded.
With a sigh, she bent her knees and charged forward, before her battleaxe carved a sharp arc through the air.
Blood spilled as two kobolds fell with a soft thud, their painful cries mingling with Lila’s cute whimpers in the distance.
A wry smile tugged at Rosana’s lips as the other kobolds backed down in caution again. "Seriously... It’s as if I’ve lost even if I’m ahead."
Mel glanced at Rosana in brief acknowledgment, clinging to enough sanity to barely whisper a ’thank you’.
Yet upon seeing Lila’s flushed look, and how her emerald gaze narrowed in shame yet laced with desire, Mel’s sanity was lost again as she lunged for another kiss.
Afraid to hurt her Lila, she pulled them both down to the ground, her back scrapping against the soil as she held Lila’s head firm.
Mel angled her head to explore every inch of Lila’s mouth, capturing every essence of Lila she had missed for too long.
Her hips buckled up with each of Lila’s hiccup, the constrained desire from earlier encounters spilling out, all focused on her Lila.
"Hic... Mel..."
Lila’s body huddled towards Mel, her arms folding to clutch on Mel’s collar. "Ah... mmm..."
Mel’s tongue twirled once more before pulling back.
Mel’s breaths came in quiet waves, her chest burning with need as Lila pressed against her.
"Sorry..." Mel’s now-moisty lips curled to an apologetic, soft smile. "My love spilled, so I must fill you up a little, Lila."
Lila squirmed within Mel’s embrace, her hips arching downward as her thighs clench tightly around Mel’s waist.
"It’s alright. Me too..." Lila panted out. "I can’t bear not being with you for a long while, Mel..."

As Mel scanned her Lila’s desires spilling from her heated stare, she gritted her teeth and devoured her lips again.
Rosana shifted awkwardly at the sight of their heated passion. The elf glanced away with a knowing, yet faintly jealous look, while the remaining kobolds stood frozen in place.
The creatures’ madness reeled back as Lila’s whimpers sliced through the tension, the sheer ridiculousness of the two kissing in a battlefield brought back a flicker of clarity in their fractured mind.
To the kobolds, their kisses resembled the raw instinct of wild beasts - unashamed, unburdened by the dignity humans clung to.

As Mel and Lila finally finished their kiss parade in front of everyone, Lila caught her breath as they slowly rose to their feet.
They didn’t speak, merely exchanging glances as they were reluctant to part with each other.
"So, finally finished?" Rosana chuckled as she approached them, battleaxe hoisted to the side. "Quite a heated reunion you two have."
"I know..." Lila’s voice trailed off, unable to retort to the Heiress in the hazy aftermath. "If you’re wondering, those two earlier were counted among your kill counts."
"Only two kobold heads won’t change the result much." Rosana slung the waraxe to her shoulder, smirking. "It would be a while before you catch up, little puppy."
"I-I would’ve caught up with those kobolds without Mel’s kisses..."
The Heiress raised a brow, amused. "Exactly."
"Alright, you two." With a delighted face, Mel clapped between them. "How was your little competition so far?"
As if echoing Mel’s curiosity, the crazed kobolds finally snapped awake.
Their pickaxes shimmered in the light as Mel blinked, her gaze sharpening at the sudden movement.
"Well..."
Rosana raised her waraxes again, while the blush faded from Lila’s face, replaced by sharp, focused vigilance.
The Witch of Envy stepped in front of Mel, arms spread protectively as glowing magic circles spun into form above her, icicles poised to strike.
"We’ll speak later."
