Chapter 4608 - 3687: Movie Plan (Part 3)

"Wow, your efficiency is off the charts!" Stark was somewhat dumbfounded as he looked at the script in his hand. He said, "It's only been a week since you pitched this idea to me, and you've already finished the script?"

"That's Chinese efficiency for you!" Strange said proudly.

Stark lowered his head to look at the script. Actually, it's not a detailed script, just a story outline, so it's quite easy to understand.

In the distant state of Massachusetts, there is a magical school called Ilvermorny. Each year, it recruits children with magic talent from all over the world to study, working hard to maintain and protect the magical defense network of Earth.

There are three main characters, the classic two boys and a girl, but they are from different countries. The eldest boy is a local from America, hailing from Queens, New York, with a fairly average family background. The slightly younger boy is an exchange student from Hong Kong and has the best family background among them all. The girl is from a witchcraft family in Kenya, Africa, with her mother being related to the Storm, and her father comes from Wakanda, placing her family's condition between the two boys.

These three kids aren't actors, but real little wizards. Moreover, most of the other supporting roles are also little wizards who have studied at Kamateki. After all, the movie primarily showcases magic, and there are quite a few scenes requiring the use of magic. If you hire regular actors, magic might end up hurting them, so unless it's for some special roles, all actors come from within the circle.

The setting aligns as much as possible with their personal backgrounds, including birthplace, family condition, and personality. This makes it easier for them to perform and for subsequent promotion.

The main storyline follows these three as they begin school and discover a vampire has infiltrated the school with a plot. They then start guessing who the vampire truly is, eventually overcoming numerous obstacles and reversals to thwart the vampire's conspiracy.

Additionally, casting for the school professors is carefully chosen. After all, adults usually don't enjoy watching child actors and tend to pay more attention to the professors, so they must choose actors with considerable appeal.

The first to receive an invitation was Wanda. When she received Strange's call saying he wanted to visit, she was a bit confused, thinking there had been an issue with her internship and worried a good while at home.

Strange rang the doorbell, almost causing Wanda to drop her glass. She hurriedly walked over to open the door. Strange smiled and nodded at her. Seeing Wanda standing there not moving, he hesitated for a moment and then said, "Aren't you going to invite me in, ma'am?"

"Oh, sorry." Wanda snapped back to reality, quickly stepped aside, invited Strange to the sofa, poured him a glass of water, and sat nervously across from him, saying, "Is there a change regarding my internship at Elders Council Hospital? Of course, I'm not saying I must go. I'm quite content at the community hospital..."

"Ah, it has nothing to do with that," Strange said. "I'm thrilled that we could be colleagues. If you work in the emergency department as a nurse, no surgeon would complain."

Wanda exhaled a long breath, whispering, "I'm relieved. I've told Shiller many times that going to such a big hospital straight away isn't good, but he insists I can do it. He's already negotiated with them, and I felt too embarrassed to decline..."

"He's right," Strange said. "With your abilities, you deserve to stand on a greater stage, and that's a blessing for your audience. A better hospital means more opportunities to save lives. If you hesitate and miss out on doing many things only you can do, that might be seen as irresponsible. But if you take on that responsibility, everyone will admire you."

"Oh, my gosh, JARVIS said the same thing. You all are really wise, and I trust your judgment. So what brings you to me?"

"Actually, I want to make a movie..."

Half an hour later, watching Strange's departing figure, Wanda looked down at the script in her hand and covered her forehead, saying, "I want a quiet life on Earth, but not like this... A professor at a magic academy? Really?"

JARVIS came down from upstairs, glanced over, and said, "What's that? A movie script? Are you finally planning to conquer Hollywood, dear?"

Wanda fanned herself with the script and said, "I would rather conquer the Elders Council Hospital than Hollywood."

The script in Wanda's hand casts her as a magician—which isn't entirely wrong. Wanda never tore up her contract with Great Shadow Xeseon, so she's technically a mage. It's just that her mutant talent allows her to directly manipulate Chaotic Power, making her less reliant on the contracted entity, but it doesn't mean she's not a mage.

However, in the script, she's portrayed as teaching magic, instructing little wizards on how to convert energy into specific spells to cast. But in reality, Wanda doesn't use spells at all; she does everything directly with energy. Or rather, the power of Scarlet itself is a kind of Universal Magic, with both destructive and healing abilities, capable of teleporting herself and moving other things. And as a mutant naturally wielding such power, she doesn't really need to practice.

Wanda sat at the table, feeling a bit of a headache. After thinking for a while, she said, "Even though it's acting, I think I still need to study how to make my abilities look like magic. Otherwise, it will be a problem if I can't perform once on set."

"We can practice in space," JARVIS said. "Or else, let's go to the Andromeda Galaxy. Pietro has recently returned there, and you haven't seen him for quite a while, right?"

Wanda nodded and began to pack up swiftly. Magneto was puzzled upon receiving the news: Not only did Wanda take the initiative to come to the Andromeda Galaxy, but she also said she wanted to practice magic—was the sun rising from the west?

Among his three children, the one with the best talent was Wanda, but she was simply too unambitious. Her dream was to get married, have children, and live a peaceful and happy life. She never developed her powers and even wished they were weaker. Magneto, who'd struggled for most of his life, could not understand his daughter.

Upon hearing that Wanda finally agreed to practice her abilities, Magneto seized the opportunity. Although he said he would guide her, he really wanted to persuade her: now that the marriage is settled, the children are born, and rest time is much over, maybe you should focus on your career!

Meanwhile, Strange arrived in Wakanda. Wakanda was also interested in magical herbs, after all, they had a history of consuming the Heart-shaped herb. Magical herbs were nothing new to them, and they didn't need to promote them; they only cared about the efficacy.

"The Chinese have already talked to us." Black Panther T'Challa led Strange into his palace and said, "Besides importing some magical herbs, we are also planning to cooperate with them in this field. The Chinese want to set up factories, but since Wakanda is too small to accommodate more, Ororo and I have decided to build a factory in Kenya instead. There are already many Chinese factories operating successfully there, so it should be a good start."

Strange shared his magical film project with him. T'Challa said they could certainly film on location in Wakanda to showcase one of the protagonist's hometowns and promote Wakanda as well.

Of course, that was all part of Strange's plan. After all, if they were going to make a movie series, they needed enough content to fill it, and visiting the hometowns of the three protagonists was a must.

However, he had another purpose in coming here. Strange said, "We are selecting professors for the school, but if all the professors are human, that wouldn't be interesting. We plan to invite some non-human creatures. I hope you can help me contact the Egyptian Pantheon and see if the Hippo Goddess is available. We desperately need someone with her uniqueness, strength, and maternal qualities..."

"Of course, I'd be glad to help. If you need, other Animal Gods can also make guest appearances," T'Challa smiled and said.

Soon, the Hippo Goddess arrived. She opened her strong arms and hugged Strange, then said, "Wonderful, I finally have a reason to go to America again. I have two foster daughters studying there; it's about time I should go check on them."

"It turns out you're so familiar with the human world. That's wonderful."

"Stop joking around; I've watched you all build up Stone City bit by bit to what it is today. If only there was a signal in the Divine Realm, I would've been the top influencer by now." The Hippo Goddess pinched a tiny phone with her thick fingers and was scrolling through short videos while she spoke. Strange glanced and noticed she was browsing social media. This Goddess was really trendy.

"Oh, by the way, you're friends with Doctor Schiller, right?" The Hippo Goddess suddenly looked at Strange and said, "Will I get to see him this time? Can you ask him to give a follow to my daughter? She's a fan of his, and she'd be overjoyed if she could get his follow..."

She's a bit too trendy, Strange thought.

Then Strange went to find his third target, which was Xu Shang-Chi. Since China had a significant share, the movie needed enough Eastern faces, not just students but professors too.

Moreover, to fit with the trend for young people, it's best to have a young professor who can understand teenagers and get along with the students. Mainly, this would showcase the professor's approachability. Xu Shang-Chi was a great fit and also had real skills, fully capable of participating in the film's production.

Then, they needed someone to portray a kindly, bearded old professor. While the older Magneto fit the bill, unfortunately, he had turned young again and wasn't kindly enough. There were plenty of regular actors with this image, but most were older, and it wasn't advisable to have them mix with a bunch of superhumans. If there were any accidents, it would be troubling.

Finally, Strange set his sights on a very unique target, which was the Ancient One from another universe.

The Ancient One in his universe was female and looked fairly young, but many Ancient Ones from other universes were bearded old men and looked very kindly. Needless to say about their magic level, if Strange didn't have so much energy, he wouldn't be able to beat them.

The only problem might be if other Universes' Strange and Emperor Mount Wey might not be happy about it. But who cares, Strange thought, free market, free career choice. If you insist on stopping, clearly you're the one with psychological issues; in that case, we might have to call in our universe's psychiatrist to have a talk with you.
