Death… And Me-Chapter 4195: Where is He?
Sure enough, a response reached Soza not long after.
-It should be down now, Senior Soza,- a voice spoke from the other side.
Soza narrowed his eyes, looking at Coddin and the rest of the Demon Beasts. He had the Werdlem System on his side, so why wouldn’t he cut Coddin and all the Demon Beasts’ access to the Cultivation Energies of the Universe first?
Soza pointed down, and golden energy accumulated on his finger.
*Ziu!*
A Ray of Golden Light shot downwards, aiming straight at Coddin’s head. Coddin was only an Initial Stage Celestial, so he still had a normal Core. Breaking it meant Coddin would be completely out of battle and possibly dead instantly, as the Demon Beasts’ Cores also had their souls inside.
However...
*Bang!*
Out of nowhere, a Shield of Silver Flames appeared, blocking the Ray of Golden Light! Coddin blocked the attack!
"What are you doing?!" Coddin asked back, fuming! Well, he knew a battle would start sooner or later anyway.
Soza wasn’t surprised, though. The twins’ group already showed they were immune to that method, so he knew there was a possibility these beasts here had the same protection against the blockage of cultivation energies.
And yes, he was right. Before separating from Tharos, Rean obviously left plenty of his bracelets with different Werdlem Stones for others to use. They were about to take down the Universe Owner of F974, after all. Now, these Demon Beasts were all using the bracelets Rean provided, including Coddin.
Seeing that, Soza didn’t waste time. "Tch... no point waiting anymore. Kill them all! Leave the Universe Owner to me."
Soza gave the order, and all the Celestials finally attacked... or so they would have, if they hadn’t felt hundreds of Divine Senses suddenly covering the area, Celestials Level Divine Senses just like their own!
"This..." Soza’s group looked over, and they were taken aback.
Hundreds of Experts came out of various Spatial Gates, a very similar sight to when Soza’s group had arrived as well.
The newcomers’ cultivations were also suppressed, but he could still feel them. They were all Celestials! However, who were those Celestials? Anyone who reaches the Celestial Realm immediately becomes a hot topic in any Universe.
They also can’t hide it since those breakthroughs happen at the Great Void Blackholes or because of the Universal Root Eggs. The Werdlem Empire had a tight grasp of both methods. Yet, all those newcomers were Celestials who weren’t seen before.
It didn’t take long for Soza to see the ones he wanted the most. Rean, Roan, Kentucky, and the rest of the twins’ group.
As for the others? Well, we have Dofrei to thank for! They are all new Celestials, and they are all Dofrei’s disciples, the same ones the twins indirectly helped with those breakthroughs! All of them had Hick’s boundaries around their cultivation, making sure the lower-level universes couldn’t detect them!
"Seems like we got here just in time."
Soza’s expression was terrible. He came forward, his Celestials gathering around him. "So you were here as well. I wonder how you will flee this time."
Roan’s Crystal Void Scythes appeared on his hands as he also stepped forward. "Do you think we would tell you? However, for now, we are all inside an F-ranked universe, so we all have our cultivations suppressed to the Divinity Realm. I very much would like to test Soul Gem’s father-in-law’s strength."
Soza gritted his teeth. "Who the hell is that guy’s father-in-law? Once I kill you, I’ll make sure to take that guy’s soul as well. It doesn’t matter where he is in the Great Void; he will not escape!"
As he said that, his Half Moon Blades appeared on his two hands, both Crystal Void Intent Weapons, just like Rean and Roan’s. Roan was facing Soza alone, though.
Dofrei also stepped forward, his eyes focused on Latifi. Crystal Void Intent Claws appeared on both his hands as well, and the faint image of a bear materialized on his back. "I guess you are one of Soza’s companions. I don’t remember someone of your level in the Werdlem Empire before. You and that woman came down from the Celestial Plane, didn’t you?"
Two black spheres took form on Latifi’s sides, his eyes serious. "Do you really think I would have stayed down here if I had a choice? But don’t worry. Once we finish you guys, I’m definitely going back. It shouldn’t take long."
Last but not least, Rean and Kentucky focused on Rafina. Soza was the emperor, sure. However, seeing them now, they could tell it. Rafina was the strongest of the three. "Hello, senior. How about we not escalate things and have a cup of tea instead?"
Rafina smiled, seeing the Minokawa and the White-Haired young man. Well, Rean was anything but young. "Sure, I wouldn’t mind that at all. However, you must first give us back all the Primordial Beasts. I can even reward you two with a free pass to the Celestial Plane, how about that? Trust me, the tea up there is better than anything you have ever tasted in this lower world."
Rean shook his head in response. "Unfortunately, we owe them too much to step back now. We wouldn’t even be alive today without them."
Rean looked around and saw the many Celestials on both sides preparing to fight. He was, of course, a lot more focused on Rafina, Soza, and Latifi. However, Rean was also looking for something else... or someone, to be more specific. ’So, even now he is nowhere to be seen...’
One thing still puzzled Rean: Victor Rampel! Victor was the guy who helped the twins in the Golden Palace back near Rifindio’s Universe. Victor was also an expert above the Celestial Realm Level. Seven Universes participated in the selection of the Golden Palace, and with the twins’ help, Rifindio was selected to be his Universe’s new Universe Owner.
From what Victor said, he was supposed to be part of the Werdlem Empire, but because he owed someone a favor, he helped the twins. Still, Victor was nowhere to be seen. The Werdlem Empire had such a grand plan in place, a plan to take over the entire Great Void and all Universes inside.
Even if Victor was hiding the fact that he helped the twins, he couldn’t possibly ignore this event, right? He had to be here to help the Werdlem Empire recover the Primordial Beasts. Yet, not only was Victor not here, but the Werdlem Empire sent two other Experts from the Celestial Plane to help Soza instead. If that’s the case, just who was Victor Rampel then?
Well, Rean had no time to think about it anymore. Soza had already lost his patience. "Enough of this shit! Kill them all!"
