Chapter 160: Chapter 160

After the short speech from Lyanna, Aaron returned to his room, freshened up a little bit before falling onto the bed. Though he had only fought a single match, he watched a lot of matches and saw the participants fighting.

His brain was working more than usual at that time, analysing each participant’s moves. This was so that he could learn new things and also to prepare counteractions against the moves of his would-be opponents in the next rounds.

His Insights Skill was very useful for this prospect. With high Perception, Intelligence and Insights Skill, he was able to understand most of the moves made by the students and what they did, when they did.

Even if this information may not be very useful in this tournament, as most are weaker than him, Aaron didn’t stop the process. He was sure this information could be useful while fighting someone else who has a similar fighting style.

So, he watched every match, analysed every move made by the students.

It kind of overloaded his brain a bit. He needed a lot of rest, and the reason why he went to bed so quickly.

---

Early in the morning, he had breakfast and went out to check out the markets for any new arrivals. Before leaving, he did something else.

Aaron increased his Analysis Skill, fearing that he might miss out on good things. He directly raised the rank from Rank 2 to Bronze Realm Rank 1, which consumed 1,175 SPs.

His original plan was to improve this skill slowly, only by using it by identifying and analysing various resources, but at the moment, he can’t afford that. He almost missed the Death Devourer Set Ring, because his Analysis is so low ranking.

Maybe because of his blessing or for some reason, he felt an attraction to that. Even when checked, it showed just bare details that were fake. In order not to miss out, Aaron felt that he needed to increase this particular skill, and so he did.

If not for that, he might have missed a great treasure. He didn’t want to make the same mistake twice.

The entire day he spent looking for some special goods, but he couldn’t find any. If there were any, they should have been snatched away the moment they were placed. fгee𝑤ebɳoveɭ.cøm

Moreover, he learned from Lyanna that before Stage Three, there would be an auction held, where many rare treasures would appear. The students were not invited, but as the Vice-Headmistress, she was invited and she could bring one person with her.

If it were totally private, she wanted to bring Aaron with her. This is a way to broaden his knowledge. He would be able to see various rare resources and also see the strength of the world, which could ignite the flame to strengthen himself to a higher stage.

It was the reason why many seniors would bring their genius kids to occasions like that. When they see powerful people and feel weak as an ant among them, they would feel motivated.

If the kids stay at the top without any issue at all, they would lose the motivation to improve themselves, as they won’t see any threat or reason to improve themselves and stop earlier than before reaching their potential limit.

Lyanna wanted to show Aaron the world for this reason, mainly, but with not-so-private auction, she can’t take him with her.

If she brings him with her to the auction, that might cause some headlines, which would be not good for her and the academy either. The one who would be troubled by this would be Aaron more than them.

The academy can rub away the blemish with their power but there is no gurantee that they would do the same for Aaron. This is why, though she was friendly with Aaron in the suite, she would act strict when they were in public.

So, Aaron could only check the markets to see if there were any items that are useful for him or his parents. He found a few rare items that are useful to others but not to him. So, he ignored them.

Before he knew it was dark, but he searched for some more time, hoping that his blessing would help him like the previous time when he got the ring, but nothing happened.

With nothing else to do, he returned to the hotel and had dinner, before retutning to his room.

---

After returning to his room to rest for the night, he checked his status.

Including this day of rest from the start of Stage one, it has been six days. A few changes happened, not many as he was not much improved in levelling as the monsters he killed in Stage one didn’t yeild enough EXP to level up.

Even though that was the case, he added FSPs to his attributes and there are some skill improvements due to use of the skills.
