DEMON CASTLE-Chapter 110
Chapter 110 - 110
Life-and-death situations occur for every being in every possible way, and perhaps one may not even realize that death has brushed past them. However, some, when faced with such moments, knew that their bodies were capable of surpassing their own limitations, though no one perceived the act of the soul at that time. The rush of adrenaline and the circulation of blood that triggered miracles was far more intense for the soul.
Yet, Hazard—a being that did not fully possess flesh and blood—was now confronting an entity that could destroy him with a mere movement of its hand. He began analyzing every possible scenario that could unfold with each of his movements, but none of them led to an outcome where he could escape alive. In half of the scenarios where he let go of the Mare to head towards the Church of Death, he was killed by Mari, also known as Miranda. In other cases, the powerful army before him, containing a creature so terrifying that even the Queen of the Mare feared it, would reduce him to fine dust.
His mind, working faster than ever, prevented him from noticing that his knight, Dullahan, had raised his shield to block the magical pressure of the Mare Queen. It was only now that Hazard realized that, throughout all the months he had spent in the Abyss, he had been walking alongside a ticking time bomb. The Mare Queen, unwilling to provoke the wrath of the beheaded graveyard creatures, focused all her magical pressure solely on Hazard.
"You won't get anywhere like this! My death is your death!"
Hazard struggled to free himself from the overwhelming force, but as the Mare Queen stepped closer, the pressure intensified. Pinned to the ground, with Dullahan losing his stance, he was suddenly hurled backward, and the full force of the attack fell upon him. It felt as if Mount Everest had collapsed onto him, pushing him down with crushing weight—there was no happy ending here. His magic barely sustained his mind and reinforced his bones, while his previously inadequate flesh and blood had already been torn apart. He tried to open his mouth, but at that moment, several of his teeth—strong enough to chew through metal—shattered.
Yet, Hazard had one final card to play. He had no certainty about the summoning or its results, but he put everything into calling it forth. However, it was not an easy feat; without the necessary system, casting such a spell was beyond his ability. But for one standing at the brink of death, such limitations meant nothing.
His magic broke. A deafening sound rang out, followed by the tearing of space. The Mare Queen recoiled. A sinister and overwhelming presence was forcing its way into this world.
A blinding purple eye, with flames that seemed to burn from the dawn of existence itself, emerged from the fractured space. A planet-sized eye, its pupil so vast that it could barely be contained within its own expanse, gazed outward.
[Summoning: Eye of the Death God]
Anyone within a hundred-thousand-kilometer radius could feel its presence. An ancient primordial god was now directly observing this place. Even beings locked in battles elsewhere sensed its gaze.
The presence of the Death Dancer, the Queen of Shadows, a primordial deity and the right hand of the Manifested God of Destruction, was enough to freeze the Abyss itself. Even two battling primordial gods halted their fight, wary of interference from this ancient entity.
But the Death Dancer turned her gaze to Hazard, intrigued by the tiny being who had dared to summon her without the backing of the God of Destruction's system—something only legendary apex beings were capable of. Then, her eye fell upon the mythical apex entity that was crushing the one who had called her.
A soft, feminine laugh echoed.
She scanned the surroundings and, upon noticing the battle between the two primordial gods, her interest seemed piqued. Unlike other gods, she had little habit of watching over the world. The only reason she had been lent to this place, even as just an eye, was because the God of Destruction had wanted her to occasionally glance beyond the world of his research.
"Death Dancer!"
A three-headed troll exclaimed in terror.
Beyond her ancient individual power, she was backed by an even greater entity, and there were whispers that she was his consort.

The troll's eyes widened as it turned to flee. Its army, gripped by terror, followed suit. The being that accompanied the Mare Queen had drawn the direct attention of the Death Dancer! None of the gods of slaughter and chaos were willing to challenge a representative of Destruction—not after their last war had cost them thousands of gods and demigods.
Even the three-headed troll, who had come for the Mare Queen under the command of a demigod, could now sense the distant demigod's fear as he fled mere seconds ago.
And yet, the eye that should have long since withdrawn its gaze lingered, first upon the Mare Queen—whose power had now been suppressed and seemingly sealed—and then upon Hazard, before shifting to the five women beside him.
One of them shone particularly brightly under its gaze.
That radiance was a sign of immense destiny—so great that it caught even her attention. However, the undead among them also glowed intensely, yet layers of powerful seals shrouded it. She easily recognized them as his seals.
The God of Destruction was infamous for his habit of branding anything he wished, and he never tired of it. Even she herself bore several of his seals—though she had no desire to discuss or recall them.
Only then did she begin to whisper directly to Hazard:
"A key in hand, a destiny in blood, a power in dreams."
With that, the space sealed itself, and this part of the Abyss fell into silence.
The Primordial God of the Beheaded Graveyard, an ancient being, let out a furious roar only after the Death Dancer had vanished from his domain.
"Get out of my realm and never return!"
A tremendous force accompanied his shout.
Hazard did not know why multiple primordial gods were pressing down on him, but he had no intention of lingering in this place any longer.
Seeing Hazard hesitate, the Graveyard God wasted no time—he teleported Hazard and his entire group, casting them out of his domain and directly to the outskirts of the Church of Destruction's border.
