Chapter 1559: Chapter 1240: The True Form

At this moment, Buseray, standing to one side, reluctantly said, "Lord Kyarat, just throwing him deep into the cave doesn’t seem safe. What if that guy emerges and sees us besieging the monster? It’s practically a time bomb."

"He won’t be able to get out."

Krisia emphasized.

"I’m not questioning Krisia, I’m just worried that accidents happen."

Buseray hurriedly explained, seeing Krisia’s eyes grow cold.

"Alright, enough with that. If it really comes to that point, we’ll deal with it accordingly."

Kyarat decisively settled the matter.

At this time, Su Mo, hidden nearby, heard their conversation and frowned.

"How disreputable can these people be? Do they have to kill me just for seeing their battle?"

"What’s so strange about that? They’re planning to capture a VI-type monster, surely using special methods. These methods are usually disreputable, naturally leading to killing witnesses."

The Creator-Swallower replied in a deep voice.

"Makes sense."

Su Mo nodded.

At this moment, Krisia said to Kyarat, "Brother, I need to go to the monster’s lair."

"It’s so dangerous; why go there?"

"To oversee personally. This operation is too important to allow any mistake."

Krisia replied solemnly.

"Alright!"

Kyarat pondered for a moment and nodded.

"Lord, let me accompany Miss Krisia."

Buseray volunteered eagerly.

"Okay."

Kyarat waved his hand in agreement.

Buseray said joyfully to Krisia, "This way!"

...

At this moment, Su Mo stealthily followed, tailing them into a passage.

Along the way, Su Mo could hear Buseray attentively interacting with Krisia from a distance.

"Krisia, your Bio Armor seems slightly damaged. Did you encounter any danger during exploration? Are you hurt?"

"No."

Krisia replied dismissively.

...

Su Mo showed a strange expression on his face. Could this guy be pursuing Krisia? No wonder he was so hostile to me.

Just then, Su Mo saw a III generation pure mechanical Red Guard appear at the front of the passage.

The Red Guard saluted Krisia and Buseray and then stepped aside courteously.

Along the subsequent path, Su Mo saw troops from the Immortal Empire stationed at intervals.

It seemed they had personnel arranged along the passageway.

Curiously, the further they went, the wider the passage became, initially around a hundred meters wide and high, now expanded to three or four hundred meters.

Even a V generation mecha would probably not feel cramped here.

However, as the passage widened, Buseray’s pace slowed, and his footsteps grew quieter.

Finally, Buseray signaled to Krisia.

He gently lay on the ground, inching forward.

Before him lay the end of the passage.

Seeing this, Su Mo didn’t continue following; it was too risky.

Elsewhere, Krisia and Buseray cautiously crept to the end of the passage. A breathtaking sight unfolded—a nest several hundred square kilometers in size and bottomless.

The entire nest was suffused with poisonous fumes.

At the center of the nest, a Bone Mountain, formed by soil and corpses, towered.

A spectacular sight: the head of the VI-type Lord Level Alien Species Antotan nestled at the peak, its body coiled around the Bone Mountain, extending into a cave with no end in sight.

Upon closer inspection, its body was encircled, with black scales on the surface, each bearing twisted lines, and black spikes protruding from both sides. Its head was bud-shaped, with a terrifying white sheep head-like skull faintly visible inside, sharp teeth exposed at the mouth’s edges, and its eyes tightly shut, seemingly asleep.

Yet, its body occasionally wriggled, like sleepwalking.

At the base of the nest where it coiled lay numerous bones, forming a skeleton mountain.

All were remnants of its meals.

"This is the true form of the VI-type Lord Level Alien Species Antotan."

Buseray whispered to Krisia.

Krisia ignored Buseray, instead intently scouting the nest’s floor for signs of the Pala Fruit.

Just then, Krisia’s heart skipped a beat; she keenly spotted a particularly peculiar tree at the top of the skeletal mound where the VI-type Lord Level Alien Species Antotan coiled—a tree that, though withered, appeared as if blood vessels lined its surface.

On that shriveled tree, Krisia vaguely saw the outline of fruit.

Convinced of the fruit’s presence, Krisia whispered to Buseray.

"Keep watch here and report any changes immediately."

"Uh, this..."

Buseray hesitated.

"I can’t trust anyone else."

Krisia casually said, deliberately leaving Buseray behind, because if she didn’t, Buseray’s attention would be on her, hindering her from finding Su Mo.

Buseray, hearing Krisia’s words, showed a joyful expression, then replied softly.

"No problem."

Krisia then quietly withdrew.

After Krisia retreated a certain distance, she rose and headed outside.

Su Mo saw Krisia emerge and felt a surge of excitement; this was the moment of truth.

As Krisia walked past Su Mo, she suddenly stopped, turned her head towards him, and suddenly spoke.

"Su Mo."

Su Mo was stunned, deeply shocked; he was discovered?

Even the Creator-Swallower was surprised, speaking in a deep voice, "How could this be?"

Though Su Mo was deeply shaken, he immediately deactivated his invisibility, incredulously asking Krisia.

"How did you discover me?"

"Don’t flaunt your invisible techniques before us; it’s only a matter of time before you’re discovered. It’s our expertise."

Krisia warned bluntly, though exaggerating; she sensed the anomaly only by proximity, then inferred it was Su Mo.

Su Mo stiffened, quickly speaking.

"Okay, okay. By the way, is there a Pala Fruit inside?"

Krisia stared at Su Mo, then finally spoke, "You’re lucky; there is indeed a tree inside with fruit, though I’m uncertain if it’s the Pala Fruit."

"Great."

Su Mo’s heart, once tense, relaxed, replaced by immense excitement.
