337 Final battle of the invincible duo

Peng!

Peng!

Peng!

Silver stood with a cold and aloof look in his eyes as he watched cracks appear across his silver barrier. While he seemed completely calm facially, his entire mind and spirit were in turmoil.

His main goal wasn’t really to block the attack but to defend long enough for Alex to scorch the Danite army below and destroy their ships. When that’s over, Alex will naturally withdraw his flames and everything will be alright.

“I guess I have no choice!” Silver snorted coldly as he felt challenged by black flames.

“Only the black flame can block the black flame!” Creed’s cold voice rang from behind and Silver frowned.

“What kid, watch and see the strength that can rival that of your father!” Silver said in a dry tone as a powerful suction force erupted from his body, pulling in all forms of energy around.

The barrier which was about to shatter brightened up as its power hosted almost tenfold!

.....

Silver stood with his hands shoved deep into his pockets while his clothes fluttered fiercely in the wind.

“Damn!” Little Alex muttered in shock while Creed frowned.

Creed had always told himself that the black flames are absolute, the black flame alone is the reason he will replace God. So seeing people deal with the black flames made him feel insecure and uncertain. He felt so irritated and disturbed he didn’t mind if they obliterated Alex’s as long as his beliefs were justified.

Silver gazed at the strange look in Creed’s eyes and frowned. While the kid was talented and smart like Alex he had a few rough edges. These are traits acquired from his mother so Silver didn’t pay much attention to them. But that didn’t mean he didn’t see this as a potential problem.

“I hope you outgrow these nasty behaviors or you will never become God,” Silver said calmly while looking into the kid’s eyes.

Sharyn and other representatives of the Deity race frowned but none dared talk back to Silver. Only with Alex present did they feel safe because the look in Silver’s eyes each time he looked at them was one of pure resentment.

The moment something happens to Alex, they were sure they won’t be safe, that’s why they needed Creed to grow and get stronger fast!

“If I can not take God’s blow how can I claim to be his guardian? In that same way, your big brother will be more than capable of taking your blow, so don’t mistake the responsibilities of God and Guardian. Once you blur the line there is no going back” Silver said with a calm tone but everyone found it strange that he would speak about something like this abruptly and at a time like this.

“Uncle?” Little Alex asked with a raised eyebrow and Silver revealed a sad smile.

“I’m leaving this world we created to you and your little brother. This is not some washed up foe we are going against. This is not some game or drama. We are going against the real deal here… Dean Hall and the God sect will definitely make their appearance now in the chaos and there is also a possibility that the high Gods will send in the hive now… no one knows how this will end, that’s why Alex asked you all to retreat and evacuate everyone. Gates leading to the other planets are been prepared now” Silver said while gazing at the three figures within a barrier of black flames.

Just like Creed said, only black flames can stop black flames. The Dàn-T?? Emperor should be more than capable of dealing with Alex’s power!

“You are not coming?” Little Alex asked with a raised eyebrow.

“Hehehehe! God and Guardian must live together, fight together, protect each other and die together… When the time comes and you take our place, always remember what’s most important, your partner!” Silver said and quickly jumped through the glass wall.

Xiu!

A silver flash lit up and when it died down, Silver was gone, reappearing only by Alex’s side.

“You definitely took your time with that loving speech. You really think we will die today?” Alex asked with a raised eyebrow.

“According to my calculations, today is the day with the highest chance of us losing our lives. It’s at least seventy percent and still climbing. If the high gods can find a way to lead the hive into the earth through the use of gates, then we will most likely die here” Silver said.

Hearing this Alex frowned and couldn’t help but shoot Silver a questioning gaze.

“If we lower life forms can use gates why can’t they? I’m not being pessimistic or something, I’m just putting all possible scenarios into consideration” Silver replied indifferently as his eyes darted around a bit before falling on the Dàn-T?? Emperor.

“What do you recommend we do then?” Alex asked while rolling his eyes.

“Kill them fast… don’t let the odds stacked against us pile up but first we need to take this fight outside the planet. That way Dean Hall won’t be able to chase and if anything happens, we won’t end up destroying the earth” Silver responded indifferently.

“Heh! I guess we will be relying on our friends to deal with any issues that pop up while we are gone” Alex shrugged his shoulder with a confident smile.

“And you believe making a plan in the presence of an enemy is a wise thing to do? Or do you think disrespecting me after killing thousands of my people will make me ignore the first crime?” The enraged voice of the Dàn-T?? Emperor boomed, making everything tremble but Alex and Silver seemed more amused than terrified.

This scene reminded them of the days when they used to see Wilder Briggs as an immovable mountain but somehow they managed to climb that mountain and soared higher. f𝔯ee𝘸𝘦𝚋𝒏oѵ𝐞l.c𝒐𝓂

This made them realize how far they have come in barely up to three decades.

“I guess It’s safe to say even if we die here, we have come a long way” Silver muttered with a smile.

“Hehehe! Let’s see how it plays out” Alex responded with an amused look on his face.𝒇r𝙚𝙚𝓌𝙚𝑏𝗻𝑜𝘷𝗲𝘭.c૦𝑚
