429 Surrounding the God of death in minutes

Boom!

Boom!

Boom!

The two sides collided, causing numerous supernatural beings to run into the spears of the soldiers but even that wasn’t enough to kill them. Damon stood aloof with furrowed eyebrows as he watched the werewolves run off the impaled bodies of their allies and jump past the Frist defensive lines. ƒ𝐫𝒆e𝓌𝒆𝚋𝗻૦𝘷𝑒𝙡. 𝑐𝘰𝐦

Shit!

Damon sneered in his mind but refused to leave his post. The first general to show himself in battle usually loses. If it were in his original Immortal body he wouldn’t bother but this body can be killed.

Damon sat with a calm look on his face as he looked at the miniature war map laid before him and he pondered deeply. He had just a few minutes to make a decision before the first defensive line gets wiped out.

In his past life, Damon led an army at a young age against the true bloods of blood mountain. Back then Klien was still at the academy for mages, so he was sure Klien couldn’t best him in war tactics.

“I never thought the ally of the Death God would be this formidable!” the Gravity cosmic spirit said with a deadly pale face but Damon grunted disdainfully in response.

.....

“He is not, you overestimate him. The real one pulling the strings and controlling all the armies is that one man who invaded this world” Damon said with a stern look on his face.

Buzzz!

The Gravity cosmic spirit shivered at the thought of this. How can a man leading an attack, control so many forces at the same time?

The image of Alex Briggs appeared in his eyes and he gulped down a big ball of saliva. He was the one who made the first mistake by giving the man the chance to escape even when they had the chance to take him on.

“Don’t be stupid, They say that man is rated six stars, even higher than the Great Beyond. That is why she doesn’t dare attack him even now he has shown himself. She still needs us to tire him and wear out his forces before she makes a move. Do you think you and Rose would have won against that kind of person? Even if I got involved, we would have lost too” Damon admitted with a deep frown.

The Gravity cosmic spirit shivered at these words but didn’t dare speak up. Saying someone was stronger than the Beyond is a taboo that can be considered blasphemy but given the condition of things, he had no choice but to overlook it.

But then If he wanted to act on behalf of the Beyond would he be able to win against this kid?

Whenever the kid starts using his abilities, he becomes a completely different personality but this is not something uncommon. What mattered was that Cecile was on their side, nothing else matters after that.

Damon frowned as the image of Alex holding on to the countless strings attached to the entire demonic army came into view. He hated the fact that someone dared to use the army he bled to create like this.

“Send in the red-robed Priests and the Deacons,” Damon said coldly as he picked two pieces from part of the board to another.

Buzzzz!

Upon his order, his forces began moving. Five hundred-plus priests and over a thousand deacons charged forward while chanting prayers in a strange language.

Dong!

The sound of a loud bell rang across the heavens and countless stars appeared in the sky, shooting towards the earth furiously.

“Our soldiers!” The Gravity spirit cried as he saw the fiery meteors descending on the forces from all sides regardless.

“We are sacrificing two thousand to deal with an army of twenty thousand... A man unwilling to make the necessary sacrifices can never achieve great things” Damon declared coldly, without showing any hesitation!

“Protect the center!” Damon ordered as the army of one thousand five hundred presets and Deacons surrounded his carriage and began chanting prayers, creating an invisible spatial veil around him.

What Damon feared the most was for the enemy to reach him now, rendering his army without a commander. Without a general to lead, his forces can be easily overwhelmed by that of the enemy, pushing them into a bad position.

Why was he so worried about the enemy at this moment?

It was because the war was about to reach its most chaotic period. He could see giants charging out of the fog and into the battlefield. Their steps made the world tremble and the spine did the human soldiers shiver.

If there is one thing Damon has learned as the God of death and destruction, it is that opportunity always arises in chaos. If there was any other time for them to launch and attach on him, it would be now.

Boom!

Damon frowned as an explosion rocked the rear of his forces and turned to look only to see an army of vampires racing out of the shadow of one lone vampire with long grey hair and a sweet smile on his face. Unlike Cassius Blood, he had a mustache and looked like someone in his mid-thirties.

The leader of the true bloods, Micheal True Blood.

“I bring a gift from the blood mountain! I hope my master is impressed!” Michael laughed loudly as he watched a sea of vampires race out of his shadow and into the battlefield.

They were surrounded!

“You did not disappoint me. It is only a shame it had to be that man’s plan” Damon muttered in his heart as he watched the chaos unfolding from behind.

While the giants assaulted the vanguard, the rear was forced to deal with a swarm of blood-sucking vampires. It was like a horror movie even for Damon. He finally realized why he won wars against powerful kingdoms.

The dark side is just too strong for people who do not have the backing of the light! The Beyond and other deities were not wielders of the life magic so they were disadvantaged from the start.
