Davis pompously walked towards Myria while having his hands back as though strolling. He strutted off like a carefree man and flicked his sleeves once he was near Mystic Diviner Hailac's side, reminding her to follow him.

Mystic Diviner Hailac came out of reverie. Understanding that it was not safe anymore as there had been an altercation, she instantly turned around and followed him.

She couldn't help but raise her head to look at his side profile from the corner of her eyes, his visage reflecting in her pupil-less eyes.

Davis saw her peeping and couldn't help but feel strange, "I'm afraid that I'm going to be rude, but can you even see with your eyes?"

"Didn't I already say I could see with my soul sense?"

Mystic Diviner Hailac blinked, causing Davis to shake his head.

"How exactly... is what I'm unsure of."

"Oh. That deals with my technique's secret and could be exploited, but since it's you, I'll explain it."

"No, no. If it's something that takes advantage of you, then there's no need."

Mystic Diviner Hailac couldn't help but silently giggle on seeing him decline. He didn't look like a womanizer at all but someone who was scared of relationships, but she knew that he was keeping his distance from her out of respect.

"It's fine. I know you could kill or take advantage of me anytime you wanted with your power like you did with Rakestream... but first, I'd like to apologize for the trouble I brought you."

She deeply nodded to him as she walked, "I unwittingly dragged you into trouble with two influential characters."

"That is not your fault. Who told him to stupidly involve my family?"

Davis turned back and saw Nyx Godwin slapping Mystic Diviner Rakestream's face. It was a clear-cut ring that melodious echoed across the tunnel, having the effect of soothing one's heart that Davis's lips curled into an agreeable smile, almost making him think that Nyx Godwin was not bad.

However, he turned to look at Mystic Diviner Hailac.

"What's the relationship between those two?" he sent her a soul transmission, causing her to reply with the same.

"Rumors say that they're distant cousins, but no one is sure. However, all we know is that their relationship is good... well, until this slap just now..."

Mystic Diviner also smiled, feeling that Nyx Godwin wasn't bad. On the other hand, Davis wondered why Nyx Godwin didn't say that the other party was his cousin when he asked him how he was related. Perhaps, they weren't, but even if they were, he didn't care.

"As for my eyes, I blinded them to sense the realm of the unseen more, but it's not like I'm completely blind as I use soul sense to project a refractive circle before my blind pupils, causing it to perceive light so that I can actually see the world through my soul."

'Damn, this secret art of hers that allows her to see is a contact lens...?'

"I see. That would make you immensely weak against Laws like Hex Laws that work on contact or even sight."

Mystic Diviner Hailac turned to look at him in shock over his knowledge. She didn't even mention how the refractive circle worked, but he found out the weakness.

"Very true. Because I see the world through my soul, the layers of the refractive circle are doubled or even tripled sometimes in order to protect myself from soul attacks penetrating through my eyes into my soul sea. However, to keep them active is exhausting that I only maintain a single layer most of the time."

"Good." Davis nodded, "Now that you have told me your weakness, you can rest in peace."

"Ehhh???"

Mystic Diviner Hailac reacted in a panicky manner, causing Davis to chuckle lightly. "Aha. I meant that you can rest assured."

"I know~"

Mystic Diviner Hailac quickly changed her expression, appearing to enjoy this moment as she sweetly smiled, "You still need me to teach Tia, no?"

"I certainly do."

Davis nodded. They quickly arrived before Myria and continued onwards as a team of five, along with Rea Tyriel and Black Tyriel, who seemed intent on sticking together with Myria.

Moreover, Olas Windfall and Waine Might joined, but they were in a group with other true disciples.

Davis could also see Seylin Blizzara and Frostrose. The latter, who was currently known as Yeyin, was now at Level Nine Immortal Beast Stage. Moreover, he also saw Flamerose, dressed in her fiery clad, but she was not with her clan but a team of her own.

He could see that most of the top hundred were all here, and many of the top five hundred were also present as support, and although they remained relatively wary of each other, the narrow space of the tunnel didn't give way for such a large number of people to go through side by side.

They were forced to walk behind others, which disallowed them to kill Unfettered Ice Fiends and obtain contribution points.

Furthermore, Garoe Rynn's killing speed with his sword arts was too fast that he didn't even leave his group any food other than leftovers that actually managed to hide from him. Not only him but everyone was waging a speed war to hunt as much as they could that their fear of the Unfettered Ice Fiends was put to the back of their heads.

*Whooshhhh!~*

Soon, they neared the core and arrived at the vicinity of a massive vent that connected to the sinkhole. The wind was howling, swirling in an upward force like a cyclone, but the space here was vast. It was a massive dome-like cave and from far above the dome was where Myria actually found this place.

They had to take another path to reach here without being killed by the upward force of the icy wind. However, once they were here, they couldn't help but smile as in this dome-like cave were thousands of Unfettered Ice Fiends, all Level Three Immortal King Stage ones.

However, there were also Level Four Immortal King Unfettered Ice Fiends, glaring daggers at them, holding huge ice spears in their grasps.

"..."

But the most ridiculous of them all was the giant thing that stuck to the icy crystal wall in the distance. It was shaped like a heart and was encased in ice, but it was enormous, appearing to be actually three hundred meters tall and wide.

*Badump!~*

It was unknown if the thing inside the frozen structure just pounded like a heartbeat, but their hearts sure did leap from their chest, causing them to feel heavily pressured, especially when they saw a gargantuan ice fiend emerging out of the frozen structure as its ridiculously big arm stretched out.
